Cache still showing on my GPS so we had a look and found the cache is still there. TFTC
I was a little amused at people claiming finds for this for finding a bit of bark with glue on it, but oh well each to their own.
I didnt think that the owner would mind but I replaced the cache today. It is a lovely spot for a cache and I would had to see it disappear. I only managed a couple of caches today - in fact I barely manage many at all these days but it was nice to get another of the slate creek caches done on my list.
Thanks KittyKat, I think I only have a couple more on the trail to do now.

Found a what should have had the cache attached. Nice camo. No cache though. CO might want to check it out.
Found the camo. Cache has been muggled. Camo was awesome though and this place is awesome.
found what looked to be what the container was attached to, but alas no log and not much else. Just a piece of 'tree'with the remnants of what should be there.
F(H)ound it! 1:15pm
Well, goodness me...it really is an orchard. I was very pleased with myself for correctly identifying this one from a distance. TFTC ~*KittyKat*~

~*KittyKat*~ is in the process of allowing me to adopt the caches in this trail.
Once this is done, I will do a maintenance run and fix them all up.

This was our turnaround point. Know there are more along further, but tired geokid said its time ... which was a really good thing cause it started to pour as we got back to the car! TFTC KittyKat. JREJOS
Certainly a nice trail to walk. We did not do all of it, just ones here and there.
We will be back later to check out a few more.
Nice work on the cammo at this one, had us going from tree to tree for a bit.

Thanks

Continuing me bike ride down the creek without a pedal, I found meself rolling into the orchard.
Amazing little spot that the local druggies and drunks seem to appreciate after dark
I wandered amongst the detritus of their visits to find the cache in an easy to get to place
The bridge nearby is a beauty, though not worthy of heritage listing quite yet !!

Found at 1237hrs after a nice morning walk. Easy find in a nice location. Thanks Kittykat.
Haven't done a slate creek one for ages. Thought I would start completing the series. That is an awesome bridge!! Lovely camo KK
I walked up from slate creek#7, dodged the muggles loading their bikes back onto the car, and admired the huge logs in the picnic tables.
The GPS was still about 10m behind the times, but the direction was correct, and the cache was in the first spot I looked.
The little pears were very appealing, but out of reach. I might bring a ladder next year...

Cool cache! Most inventive one I've seen so far. Have to return with a pencil soon. TFTC KittyKat!
This one has been on my radar for sometime and with a few days off created the oportunity. The magpies are singing on a lovely morning. Thanks KittyKat for bringing me to a lovely area to walk.
Being a practicing fregan I was disappointed about the size of the offerings here.
Thanks for the cache KittyKat.
Thanks for the cache KittyKat.
Found some very small pears, then Owl was heading in the wrong direction (examining old-looking structures), while the find was made by CP Wanderer.
Puzzles, lunch, now for a few caches with CPwanderer, Dr Owl and sushilord.
A well disguised hide found by CP.

After putting on facebook that I was going to do some caching at Golden Grove, I had a phone call from SA_parrotheads asking if they could come along. They so kindly let me tag along in their car while my wife and daughter attended a play date near by.
Thank you for the cache ~*KittyKat*~, this was number 5 for the day.

Andrew, Andrew and little Andrew with Mrs Parrot went out caching today.
Andrew & Andrew continued their injury streak with the other Andrew walking head first into a tree whilst reading a cache discription.
We had a good day and covered a few kilometres driving and walking.
It was a good selection of caches because many were down trails.
I remember visiting here with the Pirate Parrots for another cache some years ago.

The littlest Einstein enjoyed a day of caching with his Grandad and other favourite Andrew better known as his bffs Dad. He enjoyed signing our name and came home with lots of caching stories.

An area we are pretty familiar with, since it is just down the road from our house, but it has taken us a while to get around to finding it. Cheers. MODU.
A beautiful morning for a walk with friends and cachers, dayseekers.

Headed out after work to get one cache but somehow, this was the first of 3 for the evening.
Such nice weather and these 3 were so close together that they just had to be locus cache'd
Nice little hide in a very interesting spot

Nice quiet day along here today so no muggles to worry about at all! GPS was telling us the benches was where it was hidden but the description told us otherwise so the cache was quickly in hand and Mohuja and I were off to the next one! (might come for a visit when the fruit is in season though

Took geokids to find a few caches and after a little hunting around found it. After signing it one of the kids thought it would be fast to jump over the creek then going over the bridge. He should have taken the bridge as he jumps and SPLASH in he went had a good laugh. Tftc
there were lots of muggles around when looking for this one, and while we were trying to look discreet my oldest yells out "Is this it" as he pulled it out of its hiding spot. great work on the hide, love these type of caches.

Well, the sun was shining, the birds were tweeting, the frogs were croaking and I had the morning to myself, so all in all a perfect opportunity for a walk through Cobbler Creek and pick up a few new caches! Loads of muggles around on this lovely Sunday morning but I managed to retrieve this one without being spotted! Thanks ~*KittyKat*~
What to do on a Sunday? Go caching of course K said we should do the Slate Creek series so off we went. We enjoyed the walk along the tracks through the parks. K made the find yet again. Great camo. TFTC ~*KittyKat*~!
Decided to make good use of the Sun shining above us and go do a few caches around the area. What a better way to start it, With the birds chirping above us and many muggles walking their dogs.
Déjà vu area.... took us a spit second to relise why we had been here before... and the memories started flooding it... Amazing brains we have.. to dig up such detail with the drop of a hat.
Thanks for the cache ~*KittyKat*~
