Found it but the container was empty and unhidden. Couldn't sign a log book. Needs maintenance.

I found this cache for the munzee before i got the caching app. So thought i would come back sign the log book. Found the empty cache container in a garden well away from where it was meant to be on the way to the cache by accident. I put it back where I found it previously. This cache needs water proof paper or a better water proof container as its home floods after heavy rain.
Another go at this one, still not sure how this is a Traditional tho....
Nice idea, but only if it isn't sodden wet, looks like this might need disabling till you get time to fix it.

Needs maintenance as next step is impossible in current state, might need disabling till fixed, cheers.
Found stage one, scanned the Munzee even, but the second stage could not be de-coded as it was too wet to unravel without falling apart.
Might have to consider waterproof paper for that bit.
Awesome GZ tho, might have another look another time when daytime.

Initial cache is back in place. I have no idea what kind of a state the second stage is in

Set out to find this one today but got stuck at the very beginning as the initial find was full of water and everything in it soaked and torn
Thank you to the Geocacher who has decided to tear up the paper which is vital! Hope you're pleased with yourself.
Will replace in the next day or two!

After reading the logs of nzkites nzflossy and bridgesaway we thought we have to do this one so straight after the kids finished school in the car and of we headed for tauranga we stopped to do magnetic on the bridge (gc41fc7) which we have been meaning to do for a while but it's been dark and I didn't think it was safe for the kids so today we were in luck . Now of to Bell Common we arrived at 5pm just before dark as soon as we arrived I thought I'm glad I brought the kids as there is no way I was going to be able to retrieve this one. But my with a bit of help my 10 year old boy soon had it in hand. Thanks nicrose we took the travel bug and will move on to Rotorua.
We dashed out the door immediately on seeing this cache published. We arrived at the 'scene of the crime' in pitch black and light drizzle and were just contemplating Nicrose's style of cache-placement when we heard voices with not one but two torches coming from different corners of the park. NZKites and NZFlossy were the faces behind the torchlights. Everyone else was too busy watching the rugby no doubt.
NZFlossy soon had something in her hand but it was not what we were wanting - a log. A bit of ingenuity and deciphering and we realised the height of Nicrose's endeavours.
Tried various things but not much luck in getting what we needed. Back to get a retrieval tool or two but neither were successful.
A third retrieval tool from the car was next and while NZFlossy held one of the retrieval tools tightly to assist, Bridgeaway got himself close enough. NZKites held the other retrieval tool steady. Cache was finally secured, signed and replaced with a TB inside.
Definitely a joint FTF as none of us could have done it alone.
Great time had by all. Muddied shoes back into the car. TFTC

Well yes we should have been watching the rugby but we were winning and yes I couldnt resist a cache just down the road. I arrived at the GZ only to find two other cachers wandering around with torches in the dark and light drizzle. I soon had the cache??? in hand and was thinking - that wasn't too hard, now back to the rugby, but what is this - a little twist had us scrambling for more tools and luckily I was close to home for a quick trip back. Alas another tool required but a search of Bridgeaways boot soon came up with what we needed. So then with a bit of push and pull we had the cache in hand - thanks for a bit of fun and enjoyment with some great fellow cachers.
Rugby? What rugby?! We also saw the newly published cache on Saturday evening and decided to attempt FTF, though we had plenty of other things to do at home! Not entirely surprised to meet Bridgeaway and NZFlossy at GZ and as it turned out, teamwork was needed. Between us all we came up with the necessary tools and worked together to retrieve the cache and sign a joint FTF. A fun & challenging experience, though a bit slippery when wet! I'm surprised the neighbours didn't hear us and come out to see what was up, though the rugby may have been a good enough distraction. We enjoyed reading the other two FTF logs. Thanks nicrose97 for placing this cache with a difference.
