First look for 2021! Didn't find it for 20 mins, there's too many spiders ?? maybe a checkup is needed? But a beautiful spot anyways ??

Time to go ,thank you to all that found this one

Hi guys, this is a beautiful little place but be careful!! Needles were found all on the ground, we cleaned them up and have chucked them. Just be careful especially with kids!

19-Aug-19
An eerie misty morning, and so quiet here! Wandered down past the sheep...a couple of which had delightfully cute black heads. Didn’t take me long to locate the cache but unfortunately the log was soaking and torn. I replaced with some fresh paper and rehid as found. Thanks for bringing me here and TFTC!

10-Aug-18
Pleasant walk to get to GZ, heard then saw five sheep in the paddock but no black little ones running around. This one took much longer that expected to find, well your kidding ... I thought I had already looked there!! obviously not hard enough it would seem. Simple but sneaky hide, well done CO.

Thanks for taking us here Gullivers Travels54. We saw some sheep in the distance while searching for this cache. None were black though. Such a nice and peaceful place.
Took us awhile to spot this one but Snickersallan's eagle eyes came to the rescue. I've looked at that gz before and even poked my walking stick! Such a clever hide!

04-Jun-18
Tough mother Monday. Beautiful day for a walk. Tftc

04-Jun-18

29-Jan-18
Began to get worried we weren’t going to find this one as it's been a while since it's last find. Activity about the cache having previously been caked in mud seemed to set He-Squirrel’s wheels in motion as he then uncovered the cache within a matter of seconds! Agree with others that this is a very secluded spot and would be ideal for a larger cache. Thanks for bringing us here, Gullivers_Travels54

17-Aug-17
Out with joojoo57 for an afternoon of caching in the area.
A pleasant walk to this cache and after searching all the likely hides, joojoo57 made the find. After signing the logbook, cache returned to its hide.
3 cows were very close to the fence and watched us suspiciously as we searched. Unfortunately they didn't offer any help in finding this cache.

01-Feb-17
Well, I was heading off to work a twelve hour day shift and needed to find a cache on my way!
I'd been trying to D2/T2's or higher lately, but will settle for whatever I can find on a work day just to keep my daily streak going [^] These twelve hour days are going to make it harder to find a cache as the days get shorter. I'll be caching in the dark! Razz
Anyhow, lucky I found this one this morning fiercely guarded by the sheep Big Grin No kidding, they were all up against the fence near ground zero as I approached. I gave the traditional greeting, "Baa ram ewe, baa ram ewe!" But one of the sheep just looked funny at me and walked off to the other side of the paddock! Surprised And all the other sheep just followed along after that one! Pretty typical of sheep really to follow the leader Wink
Anyhow, the log sheet was extracted and dutifully signed. Then all was replaced as I had found it, all ready for the next geocaching visitor to come in here and find it [8d]
Then it was off to work for me, as plenty of bills to pay lately!
Thanks for the cache Gullivers Travels54 Smile

23-Jan-17
Nice little park that I knew nothing about but a quick find and I signed the log and replaced cache as found. Saw plenty of animals, cows & calves and sheep in varying colours. TFTC

17-Oct-15
I found the black sheep but alas I couldn't find the cache today. 49 other people could find it, why can't I?

08-Sep-15
All the times we have seen those wonderful trees on Tygum Road and admired them, we had no idea of who was responsible for them in the first place. Now we know. Thanks Mr Henry Jordan!

It was a pleasant stroll to the cache, but we did not notice any black sheep.

Found at 4.35pm on 8th September 2015. TFTC.

15-Jul-15
I didn't see any black sheep today. Sad
TFTC! Very Happy

08-Feb-15
Out with Selva Girls to do some of the caches for the February challenge.

We didn't see any sheep but we did see some guinea fowl nearby. The cache was tricky to find but was soon spotted by Selva Girls keen caching eye.

This is a lovely secluded area and would be a great place for a much larger cache.

08-Feb-15
Out with Rhyssa6 for an afternoon of caching. This one was on both our lists for the February challenge. We parked nearby and wandered along to GZ. Our phones were no help as they kept jumping around all over the place. With lots of places to hide a micro, this cache had us stumped for a while. Then I spotted something a bit out of place and looked there. Sure enough, it was the cache. We signed the log and returned to the car whilst discussing how we thought this area would be suited to a much larger cache

11-Jan-15
First of our finds on the south side this morning.
Wandered in to GZ.
The grass was nice and wet but it had been mowed.
Started to hunt and took a little while but I came up with the cache.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Gullivers Travels54 Cool All good with this cache

29-Nov-14
Nice quick walk in. But of bumbling around with bouncy GZ. Yes the sheep were baaing watching me hunt. Obvious spot of course there it was. Got to love looking for the proverbial needle. TFTC. Nice outlook. Little bit of history

28-Nov-14
Just taking a bit of a drive around and coming across some new area's and decided to make a stop here for the cache.

I wandered in from the parking and soon was close by to GZ. I started checking some of the usual spots, but not really finding anything of much interest really. So I kept up the looking.

There was few if any places left that had not been checked when I thought about one spot that I had looked at. I had a little bit closer look and sure enough there it was. Not exactly what I was expecting, but it does fit the need in this case.

As signing the log one (or maybe more than one) of the sheep started making their noise and gave a bit of a shock. Seems like I must have been expecting them to be quite, oh well.

29-Jun-14
The sheep were out in the paddock next door, however there was not a black sheep around. There were a few who were in between lol. Cache soon found and on our way. TFTC

29-Jun-14
The sheep were grazing and someone was riding a horse but both did not disturb us searching for the cache. Another interesting park/reserve. TFTC GT54.

21-Jun-14
Tftc took us two goes but GZ is spot on and don't let things like caked in mud throw you off

13-Jun-14
found with the swimmer nice little spot, unfortunately the sheep didn't help
tftc

01-Apr-14
Well two gorgeous calves were watching us look for this one, very hard find as it was caked in mud but once again obvious won out and I dug some more. Rusty85 true to form was at the calves. TFTC

01-Apr-14
We had two lovely little calves helping us on this one. It was caked in mud but we found it. Found with jammo25. TFTC

14-Feb-14
A park down the end of the road and a pleasant walk along the mowed grass to GZ. This one was a little more elusive for us but persisted we did and rewarded with a find. No black sheep we could see today, but a baby moo cow was staring over at us - so cute. TFTC

14-Feb-14
Out and about on a binge Friday with Nurseyjulie. And another little bush area to enjoy [^] We had a bit of a search for this one. The "wee coo" over the fence was a cutie. TFTC, Gullivers Travels54.

19-Jan-14
The next in an afternoon of trying to put smiley's onto some more of GT54's many caches in the logan/Waterford area.

Well the sheep were only mildly interested in my searching Smile Again I trusted the coordinates and made a quick find. All ok.

TFTC.

14-Dec-13
Arrived here and started to search what I thought would be the "obvious" spot, however after a fairly thorough search, I abandoned that idea and searched elsewhere. Soon had the cache in hand then!!

Interesting sheep too! Thanks GT54

02-Dec-13
Micros in the bush, micros in the bush, hey ho the derry-o, how we hate micros in the bush, tra la la la. Nah, it wasn't that bad. We found it! We did a cache not far from here once before. It must be archived now. Thanks for bringing us back to this lovely park. What a great area that they keep mowed here. We wondered how often it gets used...... Thanks for the cache Gullivers Travels54 [^]

02-Dec-13
Read Couchmen's log and decided to start with the obvious structure. Once we fixed on co-ords it was only a short hunt in the surrounding bush till Aussie got it.

01-Sep-13
Fathers Day today so it was my choice of an area to attack, we all like the Tygum Lake area so it was more a joint decision.

Geo Youngest and I headed of to find this one and left the other 2 in the car.

We searched and searched around GZ and just couldn't track it down.

Geo Wife, Mum finally turned up to see why we had taken so long and the 3 of us searched.

We had just about given up when Geo Wife gave it one more shot and Jackpot, she FOUND IT!!!

I couldn't believe it when I saw where she found it because I had looked at that exact spot 10 minutes or more before and a couple of other times and written off it as a hide location without searching properly.

Well Done Geo Wife,Mum!!!!

Thanks Gullivers TFTC SL

31-Aug-13
This was a nice little area and Mr LLJ was explaining how one could land an ultralight here with ease if you came in at this angle or that way would be better Cool TFTC

31-Aug-13
I've found two other caches (now archived) near here. I've always thought this little strip of grass would make a good emergency landing site ... well, except for the gullies across it Big Grin. Having just found "William", this one was pretty easy. Signed the log but didn't see any lambs.

27-Aug-13
Day 27. Today was not going as planned, but never mind. I decided to try for this cache on the way home from the dentist. Broken tooth ;-((((

Well this helped cheer me up. A nice quick find to put a tick in the box for today. I think I amanged not to dribble on the log ;-D

14-Aug-13
Over on the dark side for several reasons today. Cache for the day, catch up with friends, and a reconnaissance mission for an upcoming group assault.

Checked a few spots which turned out to be wrong Sad but Barb finally spotted cache.

Log signed, cache replaced, now for coffee Smile

Need to come back and finish.

12-Aug-13
Beautiful day with no one for company but the sheep. Quickly found and signed an covered back up. TFTC!

11-Aug-13
Found after a quick search whilst avoiding a muggle in the area. Cache was well named. TFTC

11-Aug-13
A well named cache, we got to see some sheep from GZ. After a quick hunt the cache was found safe and well. I noticed from the logs it has been muggled previously (amazing that it was found) so was sure to cover it well. TFTC Big Grin

Co maintenance run for this cache. As this is the second time in a row that this cache has been vandaled, we have moved the cache close by, and within the guidelines, and still the same co-ordinates. The cache is well covered and camo'd.

03-Aug-13
As per my previous log entry, think this one needs to be replaced in its correct location. Have placed it in the fork near the base of a tree in the close vicinity Smile

03-Aug-13
Sadly no cute little sheep to look at today, but a man riding a mower looking at us as if we were doing something very strange playing in the foliage. Unfortunately this one seems to have come dislodged from wherever it was attached to, as I located it on the ground in the open. I have temporarily placed it in the base of a forked tree very close to the location identified by the coords, and will log a needs maintenance log. TFTC

13-Jul-13
Found on geocaching works day long search and had to ask co for help and found off in the grass not where it should of been now back in its spot. Signed and dry TFTC

Log soon signed and we headed on down the track

23-Jun-13
A truly bucolic setting with those gorgeous black faced sheep and lambs. The sheep were heavily coated and look ready for shearing. The cache was found safe and sound. Thanks Gullivers Travels54.

23-Jun-13
Those sheep were just adorable! Especially the two baby black ones. The spider that leapt on me as I pushed through not so much. I happened to be looking for the cache from the right perspective this time and spotted it quickly, though it had become jammed and needed some serious tugging to release it. Lucky it's tough! TFTC, Gullivers Travels54. =^.^=

23-Jun-13
I originally thought this one was accessible from William's home, until I noticed a rather large obstacle in between that would make it difficult. So, after putting William back to bed, Kaisho53 and I took the long way around, but found a much easier path in to GZ... Handy... [^]

Once we found our way in, I spotted the container in a likely location and sorted business out while the flock looked on... Now the cache name makes sense and there were even some of the caches name sakes in attendance also... Lucky I don't subscribe to that PC hogwash, or I might have suggested this be called Rainbow Sheep... Surprised

Cheers Gullivers Travels54.

I was familiar with the parking spot for this cache as I had been here 6 years ago when I placed the cache HJ in the area.

The park looks like the fairway of a golf course and we had a pleasant stroll along to the search area in the fading light of day. We watched the almost full moon rise. Tomorrow is the dawning of a Super Moon so tonight it was also a large globe in the clear sky. I hope to see it rise over the Gold Coast beach tomorrow.

A bit of searching but again 4 pairs of eyes helped in looking in all the possible spots.

Found this morning on a caching quest to new areas.

Out and about tonight looking for all the new caches in the area. Big Grin
