Out exploring & checked for caches in the area that I havent found yet. Found quickly.TFTC
This was my third DNF for the day! We searched as long as we could before the stench of the neighboring dairy farm and lack of safe parking nearby drove us away.
Out for a long weekend camping with Smithies Outback, we decided to check a few of the list Mind the fence... it zaps
Heading home from Anzac weekend trip with @searchingformacca and @mayfam. Had one of the kids touch the electric fence here, and that gave us a little laugh TFTC
I was interested in the event happening at the Den of Nargun, as its a place that has always intrigued me but just never went. As such I left home early to collect a few caches that interested me and some that I needed for some challenges. Didn't get the whole list, but had time to collect a few others after the event
Tiz followed me to this geocache from the previous one. Glad she did as after I was unable to find the geocache in the places I expected, I was pushing my way thru the blackberries when she found it behind me. No log book or paper in the container, so I ran back to the car in the heat for one. We signed the new Write In The Rain sheet which should last a little while.
Thanks for the cache Brain Teaser

Operation Iguana at Iguana creek. This was slightly amusing for me having being startled by one the previous day who was up a tree hissing at me and a fellow GC. Thankfully this cache didn't hiss or bite - it did have a prickly environment that 999hunter and I had to navigate. Cache was located without a log, so 999hunter replaced it.
TFTC good boots and long pants needed - lots of blackberries. Cute little fella though
Suffered some lacerations but found it. Out with friends and thought would try this to pass the time of day.

Nice quick stop off after picking up the Lair. Lovely farmland astound here. TFTC
Fact: trees eat lizards!
This Iguana is conjoined as part of the tree!
An easy find which gave us a bit of a laugh.

No worries finding this little fella his guts was hanging out a bit so I fixed him all up good as new, signed and replaced...TFTC
Heading back from the Den when I thought I would stop and grab this one. After a short search I had the ‘slippery sucker’ in my hands. Tftc
Definitely still there. Easy to see if you look in the right place. Hidden in plain sight.
Nope, couldn't find this one although I suspect it may be due to the wattle tree branch that had recently come done possibly adversely affecting the cache. I moved the branch around trying to locate the cache which was obviously unsuccessful and since we were getting strange looks from passing motorists who may have thought that I had yanked the branch down, we abandoned the search in case one of the passersby was a "Karen" or "Ken" (Beta females or male who like to trumpet the perceived transgressions of others, usually to people in authority . . like the police!)
Maybe next time . . .
Maybe next time . . .
We did a good search but came up empty handed which was a shame as I was looking forward to this one.
Out and about exploring the area, grabbing some cache, visiting wineries.

This one was fairly easy once the GPS had settled and we soon had our names in the log.

After the Den of Nargun circuit walk, I made my way back to the freeway for the journey home. I saw a thinner snake on the road who was making a quick exit as I got out of the car to find this one. Thanks for the cache Brain.teaser.

Simply brilliant hide cobbies out of the way gloves on boots etc enjoyed the creative side of this TFTC and fun The Ck'S
Fabulous hide - the kids loved this one, but have to say....given where we were we had a preconceived notion about the kind of cache we would be finding here - very happy to be wrong!!

While travelling with Mutex I’ve found a lot of caches all over Australia. You know, I like the discovering, especially in nature, but am not that much intopcs and internet ..and logging. So we spend a whole day together to indicate all the caches we found together out of his list. Hope you don't mind the standard text aslazy me has to log quitea few now. HopefullyI'm gonnawork on that
Thanks!

At the moment Pfote and me are on a work and travel backpacking trip through the world. After I've spent a full year in Australia Pfote joined me for my second year down here. We will definitely try to collect a lot of boxes and all the special things in every state all around and right through the middle.
We used this longer weekend to drive out of the city a bit further and spend a day on Raymond Island.
After a night on the camping spot in the bushes we came across this one and made a quick and easy find.
TFTC and greetings from Germany.

Love the cache container - Lizzy was just hanging around in the trees with a full belly
Great geocache today! This is my 2nd geocache and so far I'm loving it! A bit if a scramble but with four people looking for it we found it eventually. TFTC brain teaser
Excellent cache. found with Justjessie and Debandian on a wet mornings caching around Bairnsdale.
Found with Justjessie and O319 on a rainy day, nothing else to do but go for a drive and cache!!!
I was in the Lindenow area for work today.
After the job had been finished I head back to the valley with a slight detour.
I enjoyed finding this cache.

Bit of scampering and clambering required to grab this one! Don't think the few passing cars saw me but we're prolly wondering why my car was parked there! Tnln Tftc
Had to crawl through the scrubbery lol found signed and replaced. Very clever TFTC
On such a lovely day it was time to get out and about with the geo family for a day of caching.
The lizards were certainly out and about enjoying the lovely sunshine today .

On my way to Lakes Entrance for the weekend and I took a small diversion to grab some caches. This was next on my drive, parked near the bridge and walked back to GZ and started hunting. Thinking it ight be a particular type of hide spent some time looking but got nowhere. Used the well crafted hint and then thought differently, then thought differently again and finally had the interesting cache in hand. Thanks to brain.teaser for this one.

Well This took a bit looked in all the normal spots with no luck. So sat and read the logs and noticed the updated co-ords , with a bit more wandering around cache was in hand. Good hide !!!
Thanks for the hunt !! Brain.teaser

It seems our coordinates are out with this one. We will get there as soon as we can to recheck them.
OK, new coordinates are: S37 45.753, E 147 21.243 - that should make all the difference!
Apologies once more.

Went for a drive this afternoon to have a look for the two new caches in this area. Arrived at GZ, parked and went for a stroll. Looking around without success, when another vehicle arrived. We have now met the Grey Nomads. Very good to meet some other local cachers. Discussed the GZ area and possible hides, GPSr accuracy, then decided to widen search area somewhat. Spotted some suspicious looking footprints in an unlikely location and, whilst standing on that place, spotted the cache. Immediately understood what some parts of the "Interesting Facts" were actually referring to. Great little hide! SL and replaced cache.

A joint find with Dragons and Bears (hello guys), who were already searching the area when we arrived. It's always nice to put a face to a fellow cachers name.
Most obvious spots were checked out and turned up nothing, so the search circle was widened. About 10m from the posted coords something was spotted that looked a bit out of place. Reminder to self - (always read all the notes). Thanks Brain.teaser.

Thought we would try for a FTF, we arrived at GZ and stood in the pouring rain for about 45 min looking everywhere except obviously where the cache is lol.
Home we went, wet tails between our legs.
Not a drive by for us today, next time maybe.
Thanks for the search.

Well after a dissapointing outing yesterday Sue myself and Judd went out to try our hand at this one again without the pouring rain.
The water had subsided some what in the creek so on with the search.
After retracing our steps from our previous visit we decided to increase the search perimiter somewhat and had the cache in our hands in no time.
Glad to see we were FTF so SL and replaced.
