I left some waterproof paper. Not the driest location.
Thanks for another smilie.
Did you know that planning has started for a Mega Event in Wellington in 2018? Check out the details on the [Wellington Event NZ (WENZ) Website](https://sites.google.com/site/wenzgeo2018/home) or visit the event's page on [FaceBook](https://www.facebook.com/groups/590545297801072/).
Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn't be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn't take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.
Thanks for another smilie.

We left Kapiti with its cold, windy often wet summer behind to find some better weather in sunny Hawkes Bay. Looking for a few caches of course, and sometimes finding them in areas we have not been before. This was one we picked up on our journey. A quick find, Tftc. A hot walk to find these caches today.

We spent quite a while on this one and still did not find it. The power lines are overhead. We kept being diverted to the fence by the little shed but found nothing on that side of the track. So despite the gps wanting us to go there we tried the treed area on the opposite side of the track. Still no luck. Continued on and had yet another look on the way back. No luck at all. Some trees have been cut down so we wondered it maybe it was in one of them.
I found this with my dad (nickhbnz) ages ago but only just got my own account . Thanks
A lovely crisp morning for a walk and finding some caches. Yeah finally found it after a couple of goes from getting interrupted from muggles. Cheers.
The Three Amigos had planned this trip over several weeks we had a lot on our to do list all the bike trails all the puzzles in town except one we haven't solved all the night trails and all the wherigos plus any trads in between. There was one thing we ran out of while here and that was time so I guess we will be back another day.
The rain arrived half way thorough the trail and we were a bit disappointed that some of the caches were missing and have been missing for some time looking at previous logs.
By the time we got back to the car after riding into a cold head wind and rain it was getting dark we were all stuffed maybe we should ride our bikes more lol.
Cut and paste logs for the rest.

We had planned a trip from Tauranga to Napier area for weeks now, and this weekend was the time to get as many caches as we could find. We called ourselves "The Three Amigos" (and logged as 'T3A'), comprising of myself, Philip.Perry and Davidsonclan. Leaving at 5am Saturday morning, we knew we had a long weekend ahead of us.
We brought our bikes with the intention of completing all the powertrails here, but instead we only managed this one by bikes - but only just! Excuse the C&P logs from here.
A quick find along the trail.

Quick find - no problems here, Cheers Timbermills.
We've had this Tauranga to Hawkes Bay trip planned for a couple of months now and these caches were all part of that plan. The caches of this trail were varied, some clever, others not so much. Some were DNFs and others spotted from the track. This series was a bit of a battle at times, especially when the rain set in. TNXPro, DavidsonClan and myself have signed the logs T3A, an acronym from our messenger chat 'The 3 Amigos'.
**And please join us at the [New Zealand Geocaching Adventure 2016](http://www.nzgeocachingadventure.nz/) which is being held 21-24 October 2016 (Labour Weekend) in Turangi. Can't wait to see everyone there!**

Harder than l thought it was going to be... kids climbed the trews while l looked.
A quick find and log, the camo was loose and we had nothing to repair it with. TFTC
Stabbed myself on a rusty piece of barbed wire hidden in the grass so nope, this ones going on my "never ever doing" list.
Mr Rattll had gone back to the car after the last cache so that he could drive the car around to the next car park. Something Mrs Rattll was regretting when she couldn't find it .....& then found it. Got it in the end but was wondering if I was ever going to.
And yes, we always BYOP. TFTC timbermills

Thanks for very pleasant stroll, it was nice, sun was shinning and we had few caches on our way, ideal Saturday Thanks
#113 this one had us ready to give up. Dad spotted it in the end. Nice one. Cheers
Number four on our list for todays trail, dog is tagging along nicely, my son is using his beady eyes as best as a pre-teen can be bothered with lol, found this one without to much bother. Still have another 12 to go. TFTC
So frustrated with myself for not finding this one.. did look low and low but nothing for me today.
First to sign the new log. Got as excited as no one had filled in the FTF space and we thought it was us! Wet inside container but paper nice and dry inside plastic bag.
This cache took a wee while to find as our GPS had us 7 metres along the fence. Our coordinates were S39 35.968 E176 51.393. TFTC
Took a while as coordinates were a bit out. But after widening the search it was a quick find. TFTC
PC Sniff, Kentaro and I spent a wonderful sunny Hawkes Bay day out cycling and caching. Thanks for placing these caches to tempt us out on this bike trail.
Spent 4 days in Hawkes Bay enjoying the great cycling tracks and Geocaching as we went. Had a wonderful time. Haven't come across this acronym before so we learned something as well. TFTC
Visited the Hawkes Bay for the Mission concert. Enjoyed it a lot and then spent the Sunday to do some cycling on the tracks. Enjoyed it and found a few caches along the way. Some were tougher than others, gathered some sticking seeds from plants, cow at the GZ and even met fellow cashers. All up a great day. TFTC series.
Out on a bike ride with Mr TT, a bit drizzly but enjoying the ride, thanks timbermills.
The bear and Mr TT went for a bikeride today whilst Mrs TT went orienteering. Despite the grey, showery conditions, this is a great cycleway. Mr TT grumbled about the biddybids on his socks from some of the caches TFTC
Maintaining all the caches along the trail, got to find it in order to maintain it!
Had to moooove all the moogles out of the way, so that a new log could be placed

Found number 3 of 4 we found, before heading back to the river hot and dusty, well ready for a swim!! TFTC. And yes we do always BOOP (bring our own pen!)
Stayed overnight in the assigned motorhome area of the carpark and enjoyed an early morning walk in the sunshine gathering caches as we went. Met lots of muggles along the way and our geopup mixed and mingled with the muggle dogs, thanks for setting up the series TFTC.
An enjoyable a walk on a bright sunny day, and yep I brought my own pen to this one.

Ms KR wanted to do the Art Gallery in Napier. I was not too fussed so I went on this cyclocache trail. Thanks for the hide.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Most Christmas holidays involve a road trip of some description and this year is no exception. Today we were travelling from Gisborne to Napier, picking up a few caches along the way. After arriving in Napier this cycle trail caught our eye, so we decided one of us would walk the trail from SH50A to SH2, while the other did a few things in town and picked me up 3 hours later. Bugs bunny was in hiding today, so no surprises for me, spotted the cache from the track, so an easy find. TFTC!

I think it was the same rabbit that scared me as it did to Kennythekiwi. Be warned. After doing the previous 12 in the series it was back to the cachemobile for a quick drive to the Pakowai park. Lots of canines taking their muggle owners for a walk.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Had a 'what the..' moment, half way down I came within 2 metres of a rabbit and it flew through the fence with a hell of a thump. Found the cache once the ol heart resumed normal duties
