As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 14 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

Spent a lot of time here but the area was tricky. Looks like we're not the only ones who've had trouble here though, probably time for some maintenance, Cheers Timbermills.

We've had this Tauranga to Hawkes Bay trip planned for a couple of months now and these caches were all part of that plan. The caches of this trail were varied, some clever, others not so much. Some were DNFs and others spotted from the track. This series was a bit of a battle at times, especially when the rain set in. TNXPro, DavidsonClan and myself have signed the logs T3A, an acronym from our messenger chat 'The 3 Amigos'.

Looking around for awhile then a muggles car arrived. Cache not found.

Searched for a good 30 min, just couldn't find it

took a few approaches, but caught a glimpse of something under cover after checking a few places.

Our first find today whilst our and about hunting down a total of 16 hides today along this trail. This was a surprisingly quick easy find... thank goodness as we didnt want to start off on the wrong foot. TFTC

A good quick start to the day's expedition. TFTC.

Needed a stop to feed the baby and this was it! Found two caches though at gz which was somewhat amusing! With two choices we figured we'd better log both and returned them to their respective hiding places. TFTCs!

End of our lovely new years eve walk, good one for last cache of the year. TFTC!

We didn't take too long to find this cache, as it was lying on the ground. We replaced it in a safer position. We really felt this series of caches without hints were closer to difficulty 2, and similarly climbing up and down the bank made the terrain 2 also. TFTC

There are plenty of hiding places for a 'micro' among these trees and undergrowth; no luck for us today.

Along the trail today replacing all the logs and a few containers, enjoying the view of the last snow on the Ruahine Ranges and the occasional glimpse of a very snow covered Mt Ruapehu.

JRB5050 and I couldn't seem to get this one.

Spent 4 days in Hawkes Bay enjoying the great cycling tracks and Geocaching as we went. Had a wonderful time. Looked like a needle in a haystack at first, but when looking for inspiration there it was, right in front of us. TFTC

Thanks for this quick cache. Nice day on the road, without muggles.

Visited the Hawkes Bay for the Mission concert. Enjoyed it a lot and then spent the Sunday to do some cycling on the tracks. Enjoyed it and found a few caches along the way. Some were tougher than others, gathered some sticking seeds from plants, cow at the GZ and even met fellow cashers. All up a great day. TFTC series.

There is a lot of rubbish being dumped at the GZ.

The bear and Mr TT went for a bikeride today whilst Mrs TT went orienteering. Despite the grey, showery conditions, this is a great cycleway. Mr TT grumbled about the biddybids on his socks from some of the caches TFTC

Early morning walk for a easy find. Thanks for the cache

Maintaining all the caches along the trail, got to find it in order to maintain it!

New log in place.

Now to turn around and do the caches on the otherside of the parking area.

Thanks for the quick cache. Did this on our way back up after the kids swam in the river with their boogie boards. Lots of fun for them.

The last cache for me before turning around and heading back to where it all started waaay back at the Whitebait Spawning Area cache. I cycled a total of 22km's on this trail of caches and enjoyed the Pakowhai Country Park caches the most. It has been a beautiful, sunny and very enjoyable day.

Stayed overnight in the assigned motorhome area of the carpark and enjoyed an early morning walk in the sunshine gathering caches as we went. Met lots of muggles along the way and our geopup mixed and mingled with the muggle dogs, thanks for setting up the series TFTC.

Most Christmas holidays involve a road trip of some description and this year is no exception. Today we were travelling from Gisborne to Napier, picking up a few caches along the way. After arriving in Napier this cycle trail caught our eye, so we decided one of us would walk the trail from SH50A to SH2, while the other did a few things in town and picked me up 3 hours later. A quick find at the start of my walk, TFTC!
