Found lying on the ground in the open. So put it close by to where found, but not so obviously in plain view. Log a little bit damp.
Fairly quiet here today so picked up the bison & took it back to the car to sign. The bakery across the road has the best custard squares! TFTC
After a couple of finds on new caches nearby, slieshcke and I grabbed some late night fast food and parked up nearby to this cache to eat. After my burger I figured it would be rude not to pick up a find here, especially as the CO was sitting in the car eating his Wendys too. Very quick find here, and then... some more caches published so off we went again... TFTC!!!
Alpenmilch and I were nearby with CO sussing another cache out, as neither of us had this we stopped by for a quick find, was real quick as it was just laying on the ground. Gave back to CO to replace where it was supposed to be.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
yorkshirekiwi83, slieschke and I were close by attempting another geocache and couldn’t let this one slip as we had the CO with us. Quick find as container was out in the open but is now safely returned to its original hidden ... happy hunting. TFTC
Puzzling why I had 12 logs instead of the 13 I thought I had found today when I suddenly realised I had completely forgotten about this one by the time I returned home! Was driving with casaba 3 and she said, we're passing an easy one shortly if you want to stop and find so she directed me here and sure enough, had the log in hand quick smart. Thanks for placing slieschke. Looks like a service was due to start soon as there were plenty of people going in during the few minutes we were here. Managed to make the find in the few moments while no-one around though - lucky conincidence.
Nice quick park and grab early in the morning after work so not too many muggles aroun. Tftc
Took a detour on the way to a TradeMe purchase to pick this up. A nice quick find, praise The Lord. Thanks!
Was on the night shift just down the road and thought I'd pop by on my dinner break. Got the cache quickly, though sticking my hand into dark spaces creeps me out! Also got some yummy dinner from the Roast place across the road
Our cache find for the day, nice and close to school and not too far out of our way home from school. In a surprisingly out in the open spot, beat my son to it! thanks for the hide slieschke

I was here a couple of days ago with a DNF but only because my database was a tad too old. The CO kindly emailed me of that fact. So I download the new coordinates and found it today.
Cheers for the cache.

Coordinates changed from:
S 36° 53.781 E 174° 49.963
Coordinates changed to:
S 36° 53.772 E 174° 49.964
Distance from original: 54.9 feet or 16.7 meters.
The cache has been moved due to some persistent problems with some young but well meaning muggles. The style of hide remains the same.

Easy as a Sunday morning. I'm sure all the important looking muggles meeting inside are quite familiar with lurkers fumbling with canisters outside...
The prodigal cache returns! Some young muggles had found the cache thinking someone had lost something and their parental muggles, knowing what it was about, returned it to me today. The original cache is now back in place again!
Second attempt after first attempt had been muggled......VERY quick easy find.... TFTC

Second day of a geocaching holiday "up north"
Trying to get some caches around Auckland today an especially to find some puzzle caches I didn't get around to finding while here for last years MEGA.
Soon had the container in hand and log signed.
Thanks for the fun!

Looks like the cache went AWOL. I've replaced with a new one, hopefully it lasts.
Looked in the obvious place (and a few un-obvious places) . Might need to check it..
Saw few people coming in and out of the shops so decided to rest beside the rocks. The Cache exactly where I expected it to be. Thx - quick find and last one for the day.
Been meaning to do this one for a while, we were kind of passing today so did a tiny detour. Nice quick find in first place we looked TFTC
Really nice and quick find. We have passed this one several times and didn't realize a cache was there SL. TFTC !
Awesome! Was going for a walk around the block...turned on geocache on mobile out of curiosity. Found this!!! Thanks for the simple joys in life... Findin a random cache
Nice quick find. Grateful for the nearby shelter to sign the logsheet as the rain fell.

Pretended to read a sign while the kids had a look for it. muggles were around, but didn't seem to notice. easy find
Ive been saving this cache since it was published since it was the closest unfound to work. Currently im undertaking a 50 day streak for GIS Licence #9 and im quickly running out of close to work finds. No option but to head out in my lunchbreak and go sort this one out at long last!
Parked over by the shops as the carpark was fairly occupied by cars and i didn't want to make a scene. Crossed the road and made an ultra quick find thankfully, as there were a few people loitering inside the building entrance. Signed log and rehid without anyone noticing. TFTC slieschke, a nice quick and easy one!

In the area for the physio and arrived early so I thought I'd grab this cache. Quick find, just had to pick my moment. TFTC.
A bit difficult to get this one with all the muggles but luckily sonia26642 could quickly retrieve it.

My mega NZ MEGA 2013 Trip!! Split into two halves - first, the journey up, and then the second half was the actual MEGA time.
This was the second half. After relocating a rental car to get up here, I now had 6 days in Auckland.
This was one of the definite MUST DO caches whilst in Auckland - and the only one that was I think! As soon as I saw the title of the cache, I knew exactly where it was! I did a virtual FTF in my mind when I recieved the email of it being published, as I could picture exactly where it was! Unfortunately those don't count...
But today after church, finally was in the right spot to get it! - Picked a bad sunday though, community lunch, and so everyone was hanging round at GZ!! Whilst in line to get food though, leant over to the kids, who had their chips on top of the cache, asked if I could have a chip, and with the other hand pulled out the cache! Sneaky sneaky!! Did pretty much the same to return the cache... best queue I have ever stood in - cache along the way!! Haha.
And a fave for the spot

Mountainside certainly rocks, and in a good way too! While lined up for lunch, we were all looking at it and Sonia made the move to retrieve - log signed and cache replaced with about 100 people standing around and having no idea what we were up to! [^] TFTC!!!
Seeing as we were right there we couldn't not get this one. A quick and silent grab by sonia26642 and we had it. TFTC!
Not a moment to loose. In Auckland for NZ Mega. Found cache with Rediguana. TFTC

Having arrived in New Zealand this afternoon for the upcoming NZ Mega event, I took the opportunity to find some local caches before heading off to my accommodation for the night. As time was getting on in the night, this one looked like a simple park and grab. I pulled up across the road, and after a short search the cache was found. This was a good time to be here with no muggles around.

Late cache of the day after pub quiz with wife geo wife and geo bro. After a hint from the CO, geo wife had cache in hand. TFTC.
Dropped in here after a couple of games of 10-pin bowling. Much easier cache than the name suggests. Tftc.
This date had been a hole in our 'day of the year' stats so we were keen to make a find on the way home from delivering flowers tonight. Numerous detours around road works on the motorways meant I was running late but managed to get to the target cache and make the find with a few minutes to spare. An easy find at this time of night. Thanks.
#566 Last find for the day..... so far. There were muggles in the foyer but they were busy doing their own thing so I made the grab. TFTC slieschke!
Nice easy find, there were a couple of muggles around but we waited a couple of minutes til they went inside, tftc
Have been wanting to get this one signed off my list for ages, but needed the right time of day to make my approach.
So on my way back from event at the Horse and Trap, I thought I would give it a go. I thought no one would be there at this time of night....sorry....wrong!
But I still made my approach, and cache soon found and signed.
Thanks slieschke

A quick read of the plaque and off again in between muggles grabbing a hot fish and Chips lunch

Quick find on a Sunday evening, hard to resist the smell of the takeaways but we managed it, just. Tftc
Quick park and grab on a dark, windy and very chilly evening...

I was heading back to our office in the city and noticed this one as I nearly drove past. A quick detour. Check of the listing and hint and there was the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
After heading to this part of town from home to visit a nearby shop we all decided that a visit to the bakery was in order, while parking the car we noticed there was a cache just over the road. So after getting some of the best carrot cake in town we wandered over and found the cache. Nice and straight forward. Thanks
Needed a cache this evening to fill in a blank on the calendar matrix. This "close to home" cache was saved for such a busy weekday. Stopped by this evening for a super quick find in the dark, no torch required. Cheers for the cache placement!
Needed to do one today to obtain a Geocaching Get Outdoors Day souvenir so, after one member had returned from the rugby, we headed out to secure this one.
Unfortunately, on arrival, a muggle meeting was finishing in a nearby building.
Fortunately, we met the owner of the cache, slieschke!Had a great chat about caching and some puzzle groups that we were both working on.
The muggles finally moved on and the cache was then quickly secured.
Thanks slieschke for a good cache and a great conversation. Always good to meet someone who is passionate about caching - and the many challenges that one can set oneself!

Great to bump into and chat with you KiwifruitsNZ, I'm sure it won't be the last time!
I was expecting we would be here a lot longer after MarMis had informed me of her extensive search for the cache recently...
Mum and 5YO went hunting for the cache first, and were right on top of it when Dad gave the signal that muggles were approaching. They abandoned the search momentarily, meanwhile Dad and 2YO joined the search and Dad found the cache in seconds! Well done Dad!
An interesting area - have been past so many times, and like many cache locations, have never stopped. Thanks for giving us a reason

Found on a Sunday afternoon. Managed to avoid the sprinkling of muggles hanging around the vicinity. TFTC.
We were stumbling around near GZ when a van pulls up and they ask us "did you find it?" Nice to meet you Rosmar and to finally put a face with a name. Credit goes to my daughter who came up with the find.
It's nice knowing that the owner has given permission for cache placement--Thanks for that. And cheers for the cache!

Driving on the motoway on my way to a course in the city. Standing in a trafic jam, checking the email with a new cache. Shall I....Shall I not....hmmm time enough so I will go for the cache. Checked which turnoff and off I go. To find out that I missed the right turn off. Took the next one and drove back ohoh this will costs some time. Ahwell I am late now anyway.
To find Vamber and SivaII at cache. SivaII was still looking or better to say grasping and Vamber with freezing cold fingers, hope I could warm them up a big
Thanks for the short catchup. Unfortunately after the sign of the log, needed to go to murw myself to the traffic to minimize the damage of time.
Nice cache....good feeling that there is permission.

A FTF! Met Vamber & Marmis at GZ but just managed to get my fingers to the cache first. Cold and muddy but a good hide. TFTC

Got the cache notification after having just finished an appointment nearby, so thought why not. This was the first attempt at a FTF without the other half of Team Vamber, and with it being school drop off time, there were a lot of muggles about, so was feeling very awkward! I dug around for a bit, but my hands were just getting wet and cold. I was just about to give up, as I saw another car drive into the carpark, adding to the feeling of awkwardness, but it turns out that they were cachers (hi SivaII!) too, so persevered a little more. Just before SivaII found it, MarMis turned up, running late for a course! Signed the log, and moved on. TFTC!
