Out with LelGhecko80 and kids. Nice Easy find. Latches busted on cache. Signed and replaced best I could. TFTC.
Out with SantosGhecko77 and geokids and Bassie’s Busje. It started to rain but SantosGhecko77 braves the small climb and had cache in hand. Signed log and returned to where we found it TFTC
After a few days away at the Sunny Coast we headed home following the gps advice & found ourselves travelling along the Gatton-Esk Road for the first time. Noticing there was a smile waiting for us we stopped in hopes of a quick find. Found quickly as per hint. Clips of container are broken so lid is being held down by camo. Tnsl tftc Geo_Spatial xo
This makes #11 for the morning. Found this one after a small climb.
With log signed the cache was replaced as found and we continued on our caching journey.
Thanks for the cache Geo_Spacial.

T-Tech was down at Inglewood for work for a few days, so I decided to take a road trip from Brisbane on Wednesday night to surprise him Guess I am pretty crazy! After breakfast at the bakery yesterday morning, I left him with his colleague and headed north to Toowoomba.
After a catch up with Jess&Caro minus Jess last night, I got off to a much later start this morning than planned Along the way home to Brisbane I ummed and ahhhed about taking the rather long detour to visit this cache, but the smiley won out I made a quick find. TFTC, Geo_Spatial.

Have visited this one a few times - finally able to log it! In the past we have looked on the side that the welcome sign is, not realising it was in the other side of the road!
Glad to finally check it off!
Glad to finally check it off!
All good here, feeling welcome coming from Esk, even somewhere to stop with van.
Today we left for Toogoolawah headind to Clifton via Gatton
We stooped along the road to find caches where we found suitable to park a caravan
The countryside changed from lush faming land to mountains.
Thanks for placing this cache Geo_Spatial

We moved from Nanango to Laidley today, we did a bit of caching enroute and then after settling in set off to find a few more. This was one we targetted and found. Thanks to Geo_Spatial for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the location.
Passing through after riding some of the rail trail and there is a cache just waiting to be found. A quick look here and there chasing the GPS arrow before I soon found what I was looking for.

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.
Left the Toowoomba showgrounds and the caching family to head off on our own today.
A quick drive to Esk, dropped the van and lunch at one of the many local cafe's before heading out to explore the area.
Such a beautiful and picturesque area with so many local parks.

Having recently cached in Byron Bay, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Brisbane City & Logan we decided we would head west today & see what was on offer. Warrego Hwy & Toowoomba were the main area of interest so here we go ...
Pulled up & thought this was going to be a quick park & grab but not to be!
First I encountered a REALLY LARGE spider which seemed to think it had territorial rights. Did the 'OK, I'll go around' trick & then the co-ords started wobbling back & forth & which had me thinking 'Oh great, just what I need right now, an alien invasion!' No, that wasn't to be either!
Then the universe settled, the earth righted itself & the cache leapt into my waiting grasp!
Signed the log, replaced all as found & returned to the Geo-beast via a circuitous route to avoid the, once more settled, massive spider.

Another rainy day means no bike riding, so back in the car to find some caches. I did manage to avoid the rain at each cache I visited, but I did drive through a few showers.
I managed to visit a fair chunk of the valley today, passing through several towns hunting a few caches.
This one was a nice quick find thanks.

Enjoying the drive to Gatton just keeping in front of the rain at the moment. Easy find TFTC
Out and about today as it was time to play with the cats. These have been on my hit list since they were published. Just working out a pattern of attack took time so I started here. Quick find. Lots of bottles close to GZ and there is a very obvious trail. TFTC Geo_Spatial.
Out and about in the Lockyer Valley looking for a few caches before a friends gathering.
Another one out this way. A bit of a detour for me but ya gotto go where the caches are hidden.
A quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

Found this cache on our way to camping at Yandilla for the Easter Long weekend!
Initially I thought this one would be muggled as the area was littered with broken bottles and clear evidence of a camp-out next to the road. But as I approached gz the cache was still there tucked away and undisturbed!
Thanks for the cache and the part that it played in our very relaxed and enjoyable drive to our camping site today! [^] Happy Easter!!

We decided to go for a drive today, we ended up coming down off the mountain and diving through the Lockyer Valley. In the process we picked up a couple of GeoCaches and had a lovely drive.
We ended up stopping at Atkinson Dam, Fernvale, at the Bakery for a pie, and at Wivenhoe Dam before heading home through Esk.
This was our first GeoCache stop for the day, we had to do a couple of U-Turns to get ourselves to the right stopping spot. From here we followed the Geo-Trail to the likely hiding spot were we quickly located the Cache.
Thanks Geo Spartial.

Found at 0841. A quick find and I found a golf ball on my way out of the GZ. what it was doing there I have no idea. TFTC.
Out with the cache maker and Will.I.Am.elia & Co.
The caches in this area have been on the radar for some time, but we always seem to be in the wrong vehicle when we are in the area. So with us all having a day off work today, it was the perfect opportunity to grab a few.
The cache is dry and has plenty of room in the log book.
thanks for the cache Geo Spatial

A lot of mess around perhaps the next Cacher could bring a bag to take some away. SL TFTC
Not really anywhere to park, just pull off the road a little. Found easily and signed log. Tftc
Girls day out from Toowoomba-Esk-Crows Nest-Home. Very slow start to the day with us deep in conversation we missed the turnoff to the Gatton-Esk Rd. Turned off at the Uni to head west again. Arrived back at the roundabout and got disorientated and somehow took the wrong turnoff...noooo!! Back on the bypass!! Learnt today that once on the bypass you are on there til the end...No U-turns except for emergency vehicles! Really!! The engineers didn't think that one through!
Anyway, focused attention on the road and third time we were on our way soon to make this our first cache for the day. Hope the rest of the day goes a little smoother. TFTC. Took pathtag. Left wristband.

Just visiting. Showing newbie a different kind of cache. All others we have found today have been micros. All well with cache. TFTC. Look out Gympie newbie addicted.
Our last find for the day, on our way home, having visited an old friend in Hatton Vale from our Hoey Fry days in the mid 80's who is on his last legs , with Motor nuro desease [:(!]. He was not a pleasent sight , haven't seen him for over 18 months, and the down hill slide has been horrendous
Found the cache easly, Midnight finally was let out for a run, be it on a lead, much to his (The road is too busy to let him roam free)
The run across the top of Atkinsons Dam was made very enjoyable with all the new caches since my last visit. All the containers [^] were excellent for the rural enviroment. Been a pleasure. [^]

Nice to have a "Welcome" sign with a double meaning. Easy find. Only traffic to contend with. TFTH.

Picking up a few cache finds on a work trip to Brisbane.
Took a couple of goes and a walk across the road to find this one.
We took nothing but memories, we left nothing but footprints.
The hide, the container and the log are all in good condition and ready for the next finder.
Thanks for the cache Geo_Spatial

Saw this one still hadn't been logged as 'found' tonight so after dinner we took a drive - hoping to score a FTF on my birthday.
The moon was so bright tonight we didn't even need torches. Found the cache fairly quickly and eagerly took it back to the car to do business. On opening the log book we saw it wasn't blank - beaten by 10 hours actually.
Another smilie added to the collection.
