Logs
this cache may need checking on. after arriving at GZ, I found the perfect spot as to where a cache may be hidden, however after searching around this area, the cache could not be found
Unfortunately couldn't find this one, we might have just missed this one today. Lots of rubbish and signs of a fire so might also be gone
After a second read of some old logs we found it, we dismissed it as rubbish like most others.
We are travelling with Pprass and have set up in Greenock where we will camp for a few days.Today we celebrated a wedding anniversary with special wine tastings and then a few caches after lunch. We enjoyed the drive along here - but not the parking. Thanks for contributing to a fun day out
Found at 1:07 PM in the company of The Morris.Love to check the accuracy of the GPSr and it showed exactly as the given the co-ords except for a .0001 in the east! What a lot of body wipes around here! Thanks to bructusFeedback: Container has probably been replaced and the opening is so narrow that you can't get the log book out! So we signed piece of scrap paper athte could extract.
TFTC LOCATED CONTAINER BUT COULD NOT RETRIEVE LOG FROM CONTAINER REPLACED LOG
Out with the car club. Called in here to stretch the legs. Cache nearby, had to find it.TFTC SL
We had to catch up a lot of sleep from the flight yesterday, so we got up a bit later than planned. Today's plan is some caches in the Barossa valley and then off to Adelaide, where we will spend the next 2 days. Found after reading some logs, we too have dismissed it as rubbish. Didn't bother to pry out the logsheet, took a photo instead. Thanks and kind regards from Switzerland, Hinni&Simo
Found with the Nelson crew. Staying in the Barossa for next few days so off to find caches
We all disregarded this as rubbish until reading previous logs. Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie are caching our way around the Barossa signing our logs as SPBINZ or some variation on that. TFTC bructus#16422
Yesterday we mostly signed off the caches in the grape geoart series and today we are exploring more of the area cache by cache. Another in this series signed off here although it was only with the help of previous logs because we all discarded the container as rubbish at first. Log was unable to be extracted so we placed in another one. Found as part of the SPBINZ team (Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ, and Nanzie) after visiting the sculptures in the park. TFTC bructus and kia ora from Aotearoa/New Zealand # 21,976****tepoti/Dunedin is the place to be 26-27 October, 2024 for GCA7ZHD - Geo Toroa Mega! Please come and join in the fun, find heaps of caches and experience some wonderful Southern hospitality.Put in paper****
Caching with team SPBINZ, Sidewaze, Paddle chick, bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie. After a great day yesterday putting (almost) all of the bunches of grapes in the "Barossa" series back how they were we're planning a much more varied day today and having a good look around. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Aotearoa / New Zealand.
Found it! However not a very satisfying find. Dismissed it as rubbish first before reading a previous log and investigating further. Took a while to get the log out. TFTC!
May I respectfully ask the CO to replace this container. While the plastic bottle is wide, the neck is very narrow. The log is in the bottle but cannot be retrieve to sign,Perhaps consider something easier for folk to accessThanks
Found it after dismissing it as waste I wa about to do a C.I.T.O. on. Thanks for the cache and the adventure. May I respectfully suggest a redo on this one. Cheers
A surprise location on the way to artisans of barossa for a delicious lunch. Amazing views. Logbook a big soggy but otherwise ok. tftc
MAINTENCE COMPLETED..... a new update improved cache has been installed for your enjoyment.
Simply didnt try for it. DNFs with no response from CO in over 9 months. We ignored it and went for others.
Looking around beautiful Menglers Hill and gave this one a try. Plenty of winter grass and weeds around but after a reasonable search we couldn’t come up with the goods
Thanks anyway bructus
Thanks anyway bructus
Spot on! Headed up to visit the impressive sculptures and learn some geology. Bingo bango! Third day in SA and out on trusty treadles aka my mtb to explore the trails and surroundings. I’ve learnt theRE are plenty of quality SA caches - plenty to pique the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. Happy and relieved to record no DNF’s today and on average most were located ‘relatively’ quickly. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game!
What a cool coordinate number. Even more of a reason to find this cache.
Enjoying the perfect weather to be outdoors, in the countryside, listening to some tunes, loving the amazing views and looking for caches.

We have replaced the logbook for others to enjoy & continue this great game.
The cache was located, the new logbook was signed & dated then all was returned back to its hiding spot.

Found at 1450 on 1/1/22. Nice to explore off normal track. Logbook damaged, so unable to write. I do not have replacement paper or plastic bag. Thanks for the cache.
Doesn’t show clearly on the trails map, but there is a Used2B a Road leading all the way to this one from the Pioneer Monument in the lookout car park lower down. I’m wishing/hoping that there are more in this series.
TFTC and series bructus.

Bit of climb at the end of long day with Marlee126, but found easily enough. GPS spot on.
Doing some caching around the Nuriootpa area with ilook4geo for a little while. Each found log had two more names noted on it before the cache was put back where it had been found.
The log here needs to be replaced urgently as there are only scraps in the container. Actually a mini CITO happened here as log scraps were scattered all around on the ground.
CO action would be appreciated.
Thank you to bructus for putting this cache into play.

Cache hunting around the Barossa area with goingplaces2 went on today. Loved the caching around here and found a good selection for the day. Each log was signed and replaced before moving on to the next cache. This one really needs some attention. TFTC.
Took a little bit of hunting, without a hint. But geosenses kicked in a round eventually. TFTC
Out for a days caching around the Barossa.
Cleaned out a few areas and only had 3 dnfs.
Found after a short walk.

Needs maintenance, the paper has been wet and the log damaged. Found rather easy with the missus spotting it
A short detour into this one, a short walk and the cache was easily found and is all good
Today with a few new caches published and a new cache published in the Barossa thought I would go for the FTF and also clean up the remains that I had left in the area. A nice day out with 35 finds
Thanks for the cache

This is not the look out you were looking for. Pulled over and out way to mengler's Hill thinking this was a spot but not really but found the case anyway although it is in need of a little TLC. Tftc
Quick find while on a little family holiday in the Barossa. Logbook was impossible to sign but attempted it! TFTC
I was heading up to Nuriootpa with erine14, alysse14 and allister w to attend a birthday event and as we were going so far we made it a full on caching day. I had looked at the map and had a few target caches that I would like to get, but other than that we just drove around stopping at caches we drove past. [^] We did manage to visit quite a few of the local cemeteries on our travels which is always interesting.
We had a fun day finding 33 caches and attending a very enjoyable event.
Had a short walk to GZ and we were all looking in different spots when Erin made the find.
Thanks for the cache bructus.

alysse14, erine14, JJ52 and I came for a drive to the area to attend the 10th Birthday event in Nuriootpa. We found some caches on the way to the event and some on our way home. A great days caching. TFTC bructus
