Set out on a beautiful sunny day to complete a few of the Vitsol series caches.
No-one else out on the tracks today.
Found this one in good shape, signed the log and replaced.
Thanks Zyzabra for the series.

It was a lovely morning for walking around the trails finding the caches some of them had disappeared with the fire the last time I was here. With the puzzle solved and coords loaded it was a quick find at GZ. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Kyzabra for all the smileys today.
Cache in good condition.
This is my 3412 find.
Thank you Kyzabra for placing and maintaining this cache.
Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!
(I’m not a geologist I just like puns)
A welfare check today at VITSOL 7 - Take a seat for me by Fratra. Was in fact missing so they replaced for me as they did the rest of the series. All good now.
Thanks heaps Fratra for the help.
Thanks heaps Fratra for the help.
G’day Kyzabra, unfortunately I wasn’t able to find your cache today (Thursday 25/8/2022). Cheers for the hunt anyway!
As we counted down to GZ I wondered where the seat was, I couldn't see one anywhere. Oh wait, use some imagination you goose... there is it!
Thanks Kyzabra
With the Wangaratta mega postponed, I suggested to stainless steel rat that perhaps a Perth trip was in order, knowing full well he hadn’t graced the West yet. We used up one of our last airline credits and with a little top up we were set. As usual we had a hit list of high D/Ts, virtuals (although I had done most on previous trips), oldies, large caches and favoured ones. We only scratched the surface but had a blast doing it.
We brought a ladder and pole with us but kayaks were going to be way too much to cope with on a five day whirlwind visit! Thanks to the many CO’s for their hides, maintenance and assistance.
Thanks Kyzabra

A good find on this hot (for us) day.
Myself and Goose had many plans for the tickets we used for this trip, i cant remember the details but I think it was three canceled Mega's and after the last cancellation we only had so long to use up the tickets and with a little bit of cash added we worked out we could have to a trip to Perth to hunt for some fine looking caches.
A 'shortlist' of 587 caches was put together for the trip albeit with the PQs of the whole state as a backup just in case we wanted to forgo sleep, in the end we found 120ish caches in 4 and a bit days, 60 of which were in the 4WD FOTT Go Bush series.
While we were over we got a chance to go to a GIFF Event and briefly meet a few of you locals, thanks for the chat.
Thanks for the cache.

Keeping it local and enjoying the sun.
I stopped to remove a branch off the road from a lazy tip hound without a secured load. I was near the entrance to the park so I took a walk to finish the VITSOL series.
I saw one lizard and no nope ropes.

Ventured in for 3 of the remaining unfound VITSOL series. Found this one thankfully but number 8 and 9 were elusive.. Happy to make the find here. Nice bit of swag in this cache Tftc

Solved this puzzle last night in preparation for today’s outing. Nice simple puzzle which I enjoy. Quick find. Tftc
Headed out for a days caching with Cravo10 between Cockburn and Mandurah, the majority of the finds being in Mandurah.
A great day out with perfect caching weather - slightly overcast meaning minimal muggle interaction. We were dampened a bit when we had a solid patch of rain.
Thanks to the local COs for a fun day out.

We’ve had this one solved for while waiting for a chance to come and grab some of the caches in the area. TFTH and puzzle!
Have had this one in the solved pile for quite a while here and today was the day to come and claim my prize, we were stoked to find a nice large container here. All is in good nick and after signing the log we placed it back to its spot and headed back on our way.
Thanks Kyzabra for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 1412 for me.

Patch solved this one many months ago so it was nice to get ourselves down this way this morning to change the "solved dot" into a Yellow Dot. Thanks for the challenge Kyzabra; all's in good shape here.
Love it...figured this one out night before to find today with rest of VITSOL series! Love the title and helped reading other posts! TFTC!!
Out with Nan (neva2old) parkacruz and piknik15 working on our souvenirs, hopefuully we will have enough today. tftc
Out and about with Neva2old, Piknik15 and yeatesy89 to grab a few more smilies along the periodic table and surrounding areas, happy to say we came up trumps today TFTC
Out and about with Parkacruz and our grand kids yeatesy89 & Piknik15 we grabbed a few of the periodic table, 3 FTF's and a bunch of other nearby caches. tftc
A nice quick find today with Nanny & Poppy aka parkacruz, neva2old and yeatesy89 TFTC
We are determined to complete the current souvenir challenge so have been out finding caches we’d left for such an occasion, that are close to home. Solved the puzzle last night and made the short walk from our house today to make the find. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Returned today to finish off the series.
This cache was one of the main reasons I started on this series and after a last start DNF, was worried that the GZ looked familiar. Fortunately it wasn't and I'm happy to say - it's an easy find when you are at the right GZ!
Was amazed by the number of animal tracks seen on the way to the cache.

Day Twelve of our holiday in Western Oz.
Bettyboo3747 and I have spent the day in Lake Cooloongup Reserve walking around doing the VITSOL series and few stragglers. That is apart from the bit we went back in town to have a long lunch at Dome.
Quickly solved this one 5 minutes before we walked out the door. A nice logic puzzle.
A good sized container close to the track.
Thanks, Robmc.

#12728. Day 12 of our WA holiday and our 7th day based in Rockingham. After being a bit domesticated this morning we got away to a late start and went back to a familar area to gather up the VITSOL series. I would have liked my bicycle in here as I am not a happy walker or hiker and it was a long walk for me, even with a nice lunch break at Dome. We came back after that to do the long walk along the railway line fence. Fortunately, unlike the previous finders we saw no angry tiger snakes today.
So pleased that Rob is my logic person - he had fun playing with this one before we left this morning and he talked me through it and off we went. A fun puzzle and another log signed this morning as we continued our walk.
Thanks Kyzabra

How annoying! Main reason for the trip hyere was to grab the two "V" puzzles but came up short here.
Had come up with an answer and the coords looked OK - next to the path - but when I got there GZ didn't feel right. After some initial poking around, had a sinking feeling that I had stuffed up somehow. Turns out that I had come up with an answer, but in my late night fog had not run it through the checker and therefore had not come up with the correct solution.
Was able to sort that once I got home and will have to return to grab this when I finally finish off the series.

Thank you! In the area for the WAGB event. On a cool morning papillon367 and I teamed up to give the vitsol series a go. I'd solved this a while back as I'm always up for a little algebra. At GZ the seat and the cache were soon located.
In Rockingham for the WAGB event, ullyssia and I teamed up to tackle this fun series. The weather was perfect for a walk and if there were any snakes, they stayed out of our way. This was a fun puzzle to solve and a quick find. Thank you for the hide and for the series Kyzabra, a favourite for this puzzle and for the series!
Now the day has warmed we decided this was as far as we would come today, i had planned to find the whole series today but time is not on our side. Starting to look on the wrong side at first, it wasn't until my son said look over here dad and suddenly I found it. As expected a good variety in series
Dad was busy looking over the other side, when I took a seat and said look here dad, so he did and he found it
Met up with the better half of the LAXA team for a nice sunny spring walk at the reserve. We found all the caches easily, saw wildflowers, native orchids, lizards, birds, butterflies and one very cranky tiger snake who decided she doesn't like us in her home and started to chase us off! so we politely obliged, backing away rather quickly, not taking our eyes off her! So all in all we had a lovely time collecting a bunch of smilies.

Had some much needed time off this lovely Monday and with the weather being kind to us I had teamed up with Me&B for a round of bush walking. We started at VITSOL 10 and made our way through all of them. All were quickly found and singed. We have met some friendly and some not so friendly locals. Seeing a tiger snake crossing our pass and clearly taking notice of us very quickly reminds you who's lounge room you are walking through. I have thoroughly enjoyed the walk and all caches found. Thanks for placing and maintaining this series. Loved it.
Find 7/10 on a pleasant stroll around the Rocko Lakes NP. After a flying visit for a FTF a couple of weeks ago it was great to come back and enjoy the area properly. This cache was our main objective as it gives us a solid D/T score for a challenge cache in the UK. I confess to regularly writing programs to work out these kinds of maths puzzles as it's more interesting than using pen and paper and logic...or maybe I'm just lazy. This time I reckoned it could be done quicker with logic and it did drop out pretty quickly without any guess work. Thanks for a nicely constructed puzzle and easy find!
Heading home from Perth and muggle agreed to call in here so I could get a Vitsol puzzle as it's the last letter I need for a challenge, well besides Z but that's taken care of
Have had this one solved for at least a couple of years but just haven't been here to find cache.
Thankfully was an easy find as the rain was coming in a little heavier and silly me forgot to bring an umbrella
Really needed a seat but not a wet one
TFTC
All good with cache and replaced as found

Had this one solved for awhile and finally have come to grab it! Definitely had to take a seat after trekking through all the soft sand. Phew! TFTC!
Found VITSOL 7 - Take a seat. The puzzle was solved by my geo-daughter, Celastra. The 2nd and final favourite point goes to this puzzle cache . No trackables to trade TNLN SL TFTH Kyzabra.
Nice puzzle I really like it, was right up my alley and matched the way my brain thinks. Did it quite easily which made a nice change. Searched and search -on the wrong side haha, re read the description turned around and - Oh I get it, did as instructed and retrieved log and signed. Today has been weird have been finding the micros quicker than the bigger caches. TFTC Kyzabra yet another fav point coming your way.
Since recently moving to Perth, there has been a lack of geocaching on my behalf! So yesterday I purchased a mountain bike and I took it for a test ride today, along with grabbing a heap of caches as well!!
Figured out this one last night and found it today!!

Down in Rockingham for a 2 day midweek caching adventure. This was on our must do list as we needed it for a challenge we were trying to complete. It was worth trekking through the soft sand tracks to gain a smiley here. TFTC Kyzabra
Found at 3:22:00 PM.
Part of the reason I have not attempted this series before now, apart from work taking me away, was this blasted puzzle!!! I tried to solve it a few times with pen and paper without success. One day I had an AHA moment and tried a program that I am sure we have all used before. A couple of goes on that and I had a thumbs up. Today the cache was found quickly and I was off to slog through the sand some more.
Thanks for the cache Kyzabra, it was cache number 2104 for me and was 8 in my run of 16 for today's geocaching effort.
Cheers

Gypsy Roaming gets the credit for sorting the final numbers for this cache, me thinks I would still be putting numbers into the checker.

Out this afternoon to tackle some more of this series, solved the puzzle last night after unsuccessful attempts in the past, cache in excellent condition. SL TFTH
Took a while to find with the geokids, but got right on gz and turned and found it. Tftc
Had a nearby meeting this morning so took the opportunity to knock off some VITSOL caches beforehand. These have been on the to-do list for quite a while now and am glad to grab a few smileys for the series.
Parked up near number 10 at 7:30am in the hope of beating the heat but by the time I got back to the car around 9:15 I definitely had some sweat on the brow. I had planned to find 12 altogether but due to time constraints only managed to attempt 8. Still a productive morning in my view.
Had this one marked down as a 'must do' because I was on a mission to find five different cache types today. With a multi and a letterbox in this area and an event to attend later in the day I had to make sure I put a smiley here.
Knuckled down on the puzzle last night and more through trial and error than mathematical genius I came up with a tick on the checker. So glad to spot the cache quickly on approach to GZ as I was running short of time.

I'm looking forward to meeting other geocachers in Busselton at the 'WA GOES BIG IN 2015' event. Registrations now open.

Solved the puzzle with a little help from my son ( I knew he would come in useful one day ). Only to have the checker tell me I was wrong. Met the CO at a meet at the weekend & he confirmed that my coordinates were correct. The rest is history. NEF. Picked up a path tag. TFTC
Eventually got the math done and it's definitely not my strong point, so think I laboured and a little help from m4yb.
A good ride and pushing of bike in the general area today with m4yb.
Thanks for the series sprinkled with multis, 2 puzzles normals.
Thanks for them all Kyzabra.

A lovely morning for a little bushwalk with LunaMaya - not too hot, not too cool just a perfect spring day
Loved this series for a bunch of reasons but especially because it had a little bit of everything! Thanks for taking the time to set this gorgeous caching trail up Kyzabra
I think I may have solved this puzzle with a little bit of flukey luck hahaha but we shall pretent it was pure smarts lol.
The seat reference has me stumped...

Today was finally the day , after looking forward to doing this series for some time . The weather was perfect as Spring is here at last. Out with Toniandco today, it took us about 3 hours to complete the series. We were also able to find some other caches nearby. I enjoyed the variety of cache types and the variety of hides. The bushland is beautiful . Cache found, SL, TFTC Kyzabra

Solved this puzzle a few weeks back and today was the day to grab the series. Had read previous logs and decided to take the geobike anyways, and sure enough the track between VITSOL 5 and VITSOL 8 was very sandy. Tried to ride through it but like KB, ended up pushing it most of the way. I still think it was worth bringing the bike as it made the other stretch quite easy. Overshot this one a little bit, and left the bike to head back and sign the log. TFTC.
Maths is my thing but that said, I think this was more arse than class in stumbling upon an immediate solution when I sat down to look at this puzzle yesterday. Thanks for another cache Kyzabra - especially a nice big one so close to the track.
Nice find of a largish cache that is well stocked. Somehow missed the seat?? TFTC.
Liked this one, had a bit of a spell here and dropped of a Earthtrek geocoin. ET4HCT. TFTC's
This series has been on the radar ever since it was published. Today was the day and my geo-wife decided to join me. I was a bit surprised as it was late morning and already getting warm and she doesn't like the hot weather.
After VITSOL 1, I made a decision en route to head for this one instead of VITSOL 2 ... I think that was a mistake, the track is sandy again and this was mentioned by the geo-wife.
On arrival here, I made a quick find and was about to place the cache in a particular place to do the business when the geo-wife said that she was about to sit there! It was only later that we twigged to the name of the cache and had a bit of a chuckle about how aptly named it is .
Signed the log and dropped off a path tag. Thanks for the hide Kyzabra.

Out and about with richlink and Jacobscrew, thankfully the weather was kind to us today and it wasn't too hot walking the sandy and limestone tracks.
We found the all caches to be in good order with acurate coords to be good and a variety of containers.

We have had our eye on this series since it was published. Today was a cooler day and I was awake early so decided to head out before the temperature started to rise. A nice walk and a neat variety of containers and cache types . TFTC and series Kyzabra, can't wait for the rest of the VITSOL series
I looked at this puzzle at home and could not work out the coordinates so thought that I may not be able to sign this log. However, I sometimes find that some puzzles are easier to work out once I am in the field and this was the case here . A nice sized container with some cool swaps.

Nice seat and shade to fill out the log and swap prizes. 2 more to go. After a hot day like today we are really looking forward to finishing this series and having a nice cold beer to finish the day.

2nd TF at 6.50am.....
The geohubby is away working and was on nightshift when he decided to message me at 3am to say he had solved the puzzle. I think he thought i was going to get up and go and get it but that definitately wasnt going to happen, I got up at 6am and decided to have a quick coffee first then i was out the door and drove to the cache. I was about to pull up to park and instantly saw a very familar car, it was jasnenjanine. I thought to myself how did janine get here so early with the 2 little ones and then i thought maybe she is doing the multi first as she didnt do that one the other day. I was half way up the track and she was walking towards me and just the look on her face told me i was pipped to the post again (why did i have that coffee)....We stopped for a chat then it was time to find the cache so we went our seperate ways. Congrats jasenjanine on your FTF and a favourite point for yet another challenging puzzle. The geohubby sent the CO a pic of his whiteboard at work with all his workings out on it, he didnt know there was a new hint but he still managed to solve it anyway.....TFTC Kyzabra

[^] Joint *FTF* with DangerMouse09 at 6.30am [^]
After doing the new caches the other day, I was way too tired to start trying to solve this one... Jase started to have a look yesterday over his lunch-break but after adding 6 X's to the checker it was time for him to go back to work Then last night after getting the kids to bed, I took his numbers gave them a bit of a shuffle & Ta-Dah!!! The checker was my friend
Problem being, two sleeping kids... So this morning when I heard DM09 awake at 5am I got up & got dressed then went back to bed until Master 2 also awoke [|)] Getting them organised & out the door, we arrived just after 6am for a leisurely morning walk
Got to GZ and found the cache in the first spot I looked & the kids were impressed... Also impressed was I, as there were no other logs in the book [?] Not sure where everyone is, I really thought this would have been gone last night...
TFTC & another clever puzzle Kyzabra Enjoyed our walk through here this morning, could even hear the birds over my noisy two Met OOH YEH along the track & as always, good to stop & have a chat!!!

Hubby was in hospital getting cut up today, so with a window of a few hours Mistraluna and I made the (in hindsight foolish) decision to track down these two new puzzles that were recently solved, along with the rest in this loop. However we severely underestimated the heat generated off the sand, combined with very little shade, and for the most part, a very sandy track, in century heat. Consequently by the time the loop was completed I was thinking I might be joining hubby in the hospital as another patient!
However, after some nourishment and a shower I felt somewhat more civilized to be able to get back to his bedside to hold his hand.
This puzzle was somewhat more tricky. Worked out the numbers, but not their proper order, so it took all of 9 red faces before the 10th gave the most welcome green tick. Second to solve and joint third to find. We took a while tracking down the container though, but eventually found it on the other side of the track. We should have taken more notice of the name of the cache!
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache Kyzabra.

Up this way this afternoon with urch, hoping to grab a few smiley faces. The way the listing was worded originally caused us several hours of impossible mental gymnastics. Sent off a message to the CO, asking for clarification, and a couple of changes to the wording and it began to make sense. Still took several guesses before getting the green tick though. Happy to have the smiley face to go with it. Thanks Kyzabra
Posted a hint/clarification now solved

This puzzle has made for an interesting afternoon. In my outdoor area - myself , Mr Luna Maya, Mistraluna and my muggle friend Jim! Well, I was of little help, no surprise there After about 3 hours Jim has decided that this puzzle does not work [?]
Just added some clarification into the description. And also the layout of the puzzle question.
Hope this helps
Each letter in the puzzle represents a digit from 1-9. And all digits are used once.

A green tick to me. Out of 36 possible solutions I tried the most likely first. Bingo.
Unlikely to be there till January so won't be claiming FTF but nice to have a FTS. Thanks Kyzabra
