The container has gone walkabout, and since they have finally decided to make some upgrades to the road, this hiding spot will be gone sooner or later. I suspect sooner they way they are cutting trees down like a knife through butter along the upgrade route. Maybe another random tin will find it's way into a new hiding spot somewhere else soon.
Hmm... Supposed the be easy and not many places to hide. The recent uploaded image should have made spotting it easy. But nothing.
Over on Coochie today for a catch up event, I took the bike over on the barge with a few others. On the way home I happened to spy this one and saw it was just off to the side of the road. As I drove up it meant I had to stop 100 metres before the hide, I parked and started my walk to the cache, I spied the cache some 30 metres away. I opened the cache to find a very wet log, I dried it out as best as I could and then signed where I could.
I replaced the cache as found and continued on, thanks for placing this one here.

Hubby found a park on the side of the road, thankfully the nearby road workers had gone home for the day. SL TFTC
Pulled over on the side of the road, in the middle of road works. The traffic controller came over to ask what we were doing. I just said we were going for a walk down the track. He seemed okay with this. With all eyes on us, the chikins and I headed off down the path. Then we must have looked most peculiar stopping and just standing waiting for them to look elsewhere. When they eventually, did we started searching. Finally we had cache in hand and log signed. Glad we got this one; our first for the day. The traffic controller stopped all cars to let me back onto the road - very nice indeed! TFTC.
A day of random caching... I managed to find convenient parking so this was a nice quick find... tftc...
A day out in glorious sunshine to Victoria Point from the Goldie to grab some smileys. TFTC Orion
Quite well hidden, but a cacher can find that type of container in any environment TFTC!
Out finding a couple of caches with EATP today, and this one happened to be nearby.
We got lucky with how quickly we found this one. A quick glimpse of “oh, could that be it?” and we had the cache in hand!
Luckily it’s too hot for walkers & riders to be out right now, so we had GZ to ourselves for the signing duties.

Out for a random drive and pulled over to check out any possible geocaches nearby. There was, so we stopped where we were and decided to walk to this one.Because of passing bike riders and people walking, we had to be wary, carefully looking over our shoulders and all around before Mrs Swampybees spotted the cache. Quickly signed it before another group of bike riders zoomed past. Thanks Orionj.
Thank you again!
Our daughter loves geocaching and is starting to understand having to be stealth while out in public searching.

After a bushwalk we took a slight detour on the way home, stopping at some caches that have not been found in the last week or so.
Found in the dark, the new tin is in place
Thank you for hiding this one

Replaced container. Took a while to find another random tin for here, as they do not appear to be made so much anymore. A move to plastic alternatives. Anyway new log added as well happy hunting
Out for another short and quick spin on Evie. Not quite where I was expecting this to be, but a quick find anyway.
I found a random tin while out on a random walk. I approached from the north and had to continue past GZ as an old man and his obese dog were approaching GZ from the south at the same time. Once they were across the bridge and out of sight, I doubled back and spotted the tin on approach. I covered it with a few more leaves before I left as did the last finder but I suspect it may be exposed again by the time the next finder comes along. Oh, the lid has broken off and the bottom is rusted out. Thanks for the cache
Out for the day with nikid1 to hopefully finish off the museum caches for our souvenir. We couldn't park too close to this one but was a quick find once there as some of it was exposed. Covered with a bit more camo when replaced.

Boy that took some finding, after GPS was throwing me all over the place and previous logs were useless. I spent ages looking from different angles at the Armco barrier and the handrail and finally decided to search amongst the trees for success. You can only spot it from one angle (if you’re lucky that it’s not covered with leaf matter). Good luck. TFTC
I think this little bugger had fallen out of its hiding hole, as it was in plain sight when I arrived. I’ve signed the log and tucked it back in somewhere a bit more well hidden to preserve it for future hunters. TFTC
After letting GPS settle and taking advice from others, we found the little critter.
We signed log and replaced cache as found. Now we are on to the next one.
Thanks for the cache Orion J

This cache is over 5 years old and for some reason I haven't gotten it. For shame
I had finished an interesting day at work and I wanted to grab a cache. I clocked this one on the map and headed toward it. I parked up and tottled toward GZ.
I spotted the prize from a distance - but I don't think it's going to get muggled in a hurry. I signed the log and re-hid the cache as found. A good little diversion for me today. TFTC OrionJ

My sister and I found this cache today, log signed and returned where we found it
A random tin indeed and in a great little hidey hole. Signed, sealed and delivered by Squirrellette. Cache is in great condition even though the logbook is slightly damp.
Yay, an unloved cache!
I’ll be spending a lot more time on the Bayside this year, so expect to see a few more logs from me over here.
I parked across the road and made my way carefully over. The hide is pretty cunning as only when I changed my approach and angle did I spot it.
Despite not being touched for 6 months, the cache and log are in perfect condition. A great start today. TFTC!

It wasn't where I was expecting to find it from the area surrounding GZ but found it from the right angle. Tftc
Had a case of 'just one more' after doing the little series nearby and this was the one.. I'm giving it a FP because it made me laugh, and was a clever hide A very accurate cache name
After a long hot day we decided the finish the day with a smiley on the map . We parked nearby GZ and walked over. Once we arrived at GZ we were spotted by some muggles so we continue walking . We arrived back at GZ the cache was quickly in hand . Thanks for the cache OrionJ. TFTC!!!
Nice quick find. TFTC - this series has been good, made us see places we normally wouldn't go.
This cache had me feeling a bit like an Ibis (a bird I'm not particularly fond of), as it had us scratching around for quite a bit before one of our lovely ladies said: Hang on a minute, I think I've found it. She was right and we very happily signed the log. If you were here by yourself this could take a while. A quick run back to the air-con soon cooled us down again after being in the heat of the middle of the day for our search. Thanks for another cache in your RBBW series OrionJ. We've gathered a few of them now and they are brightening our day. Cheers!
Caching day in the Redlands area and we enjoyed finding a variety of caches and visiting various parks, cemeteries and more parks! Thanks to all the COs who showed us many aspects of this coastal suburb.
Whilst visiting the area today this was a nice quick find of a random tin with geo friends, thanks OrionJ
A random search for a random tin came up empty handed.

Looked for this, one other time but the GPS took me the wrong way,was out again today and thanks to my caching buddy 14NET and reading previous logs and the GPS was correct I quickly had it signed and of to the next one TFYC
29/7/16 A comment in the previous log suggested a likely place to search and a nice quick find was had. All good here. TFTC OrionJ
A strategically placed piece of foliage was removed, and then tin was found in good comdition. Tftc
The GPSr was bouncing around a bit so we checked out all the possible spots, left, right and up. Started back at the beginning again and we both spotted something at the same time from different angles. The lid was rusted on and needed a special tool to prise it off. The lid broke but fortunately we had a nice shiny new container in the caching box along with a new zip lock bag for the log book . TFTC.
Caching day with Team Benders and the Black Flag crew. We have targeted some Victoria Point caches to while away the afternoon.
I had looked at doing this cache on previous times when passing by but the traffic was always flowing too well for me to stop. Today, there was a slight gap in the traffic when we entered this road, so it was fairly easy for three geovehicles to pull off at the side just to the south of the cache.
From the cache name, Team Benders gave us a summations of what the cache would be, but while they were concentrating on the barrier, I found the cache in its hiding spot.
Found at 3.35pm on 27th January, 2016. TFTC.

After finding a car park at the side of the road, Mr + Mrs Roddy C, Team Benders and us (Black Flag Crew) headed to GZ for the find. Team Benders had a good idea of what the container would be and when found was right on the money. TFTC, signed and returned.
I was actually feeling a bit better today and wanted to get out of the house. We thought we would do some that we could grab from the car.
We walked around forever trying to find this one. There was a spider in the way so I really didn't want to touch it. Finally I gave in and just moved it. I got it.

Saturday. Kerry from Slow Puncture was down the dark side and decided to stop in at a few caches on the way.
Had to park on the other side of a busy road, had to jump the guardrail, and then thought maybe it was there. Or maybe over there? Soon found the hide, not what I was expecting. Well hidden, very neat.
Collected a bunch of rubbish while I was there and took it away.
This was the 2nd of 3 caches found on this trip. This qualifies for our "Can you spell September" challenge, hurrah!
Thanks [Blue]OrionJ[/Blue], for showing us this place.

# 765 - Out with gcraider today on a caching adventure in the Redlands.
This was the last one for the day, after gcraider had fitted in one of the caches that I had found a while ago. It has been a pleasant afternoon with a quick find here by gcraider. Thanks for going to the trouble of placing all these caches for us to find!

This certainly was a random tin, simple but effective hide on a good run of caches. Tftc
Yep, thats a random tin alright. This was the last find for me today after a great morning caching in Cleveland. As I wandered back towards GZ I could see it's little head sticking up from it's hide. I popped the cap open, ah Mr Radnoski has been here. I put the cache dwelling frog aside while I added my name to the log. Frog back in and cache back in place.
Thanx again OrionJ

A little exposed for a random tin, log dry and now rolled up not jammed in. Tftc
A great, if not wet day out in the Cleveland area caching with Couchmen. I think we picked one of the wettest days of the year to cache on, and later found out that 100mm of ran fell that day. Anyhow, we managed about 20 caches, got soaked, but generally had a lot of fun. We found some great caches and visited some pretty good spots. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches.

Able to park pretty close to it. Couchmen had it quick searching on the right side. TFTC.

Out today with Blacklegend on our regular Thursday caching day and we had some more to clear out of the Redland Bay/Victoria Point area.
The day hadn't started very promising as it was raining lightly but that wasn't going to stop us (I know Cacher Maniacs) but would it stop you?
We were able to drive quite close to GZ and searched a few spots before I spied something out of place which turned out to be the container.
Thanks Orion J TFTC SL

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 2:44pm. That took a few minutes to track down. The cache is in good condition. TFTC
This was an easy find and the end of the caching day. The previous time I was here there was a snake crossing the path.TFTC
Hi orionj, finally getting around to finding some of your caches. I got stuck in a tree before, but this was easier. Thanks
I had targeted the Redlands Area to get my fix for day 73 of my streak and this was the first on the list.
I found a suitable spot to stop and walked back to the area. I dismissed the hiding spot and started my search elsewhere but decided to trust the GPS and headed to there and quickly spotted the cache. I was completely exposed.
I signed the log and then covered the cache a bit.
TFTC Orion J. Now off to find the brother.

Looking around and spotted cache quickly a little exposed so added a little more hiding
I decided to do this series today in a bid to hit #1400 finds before a loooong weekend at the Brisneyland Writers Festival. The original plan was not to tell the CO but ended up catching up for coffee a bit later in the afternoon.
So, this was my first stop and Sooty the cachemobile careered off the road near GZ.
A quick find as the coords were spot on
TFTC OrionJ!

Had to out wait a couple of mugglets here. They soon wandered off and I managed a quick find.

Found with stairman1. After a break in the traffic we headed over to the bike path. There were some muggle kids walking by but they didn't take much interest in what we were doing. A quick grab and we had our names signed. Now to head home. Thanks OrionJ. We will come back another day to finish these ones off.
On they way home from a nearby new cache, wanted to give this one a go. It would be pity to leave such a lonely spot behind on the caching map.
Navigated with the C:geo map on but by the cache there were only guardrails barricading the road. Oh wait, there's a gap in the rail - splendid parking 100 m North from the cache. Sweet going.
The next question was on which side of the road the cache would be. Two reasons pointed to the opposite side: it's part of a bikeway series and there's no bikeway on my side of the road - so it must be on the other side. Additionally, there seems to be no good safe location on this side, anyway.
Hitched across the road, over the rail, and voila, the bike path waiting. The last task was to follow the compass to the GZ.
Over there the options were quite clear: it's either over there, or that way, or perhaps it's down here. Took the lazy man approach and checked the first obvious place - in vain. What might be another obvious spot? Oh well, perhaps that one which clearly has the container...
The log was stuffedn underneath a frog and took a some effort to fish it out. Signed the log, folded back, and placed the frog neatly back with the log. All good here, even the container is still shiny.
TFTC, OrionJ!

Day 28 of the 31 day challenge. Mr GT54 took care of this one. Mrs GT54 stayed in the geomobile, in the shade. The cache was quickly located, signed, and we were on our way again. TFTC.
I swear this is the last one before heading home.....
I stopped on the side of the road near the GZ. There appeared to be a million cars coming down the road so I would not be going anywhere in a hurry so I may as well go find the cache.
I looked in all of the wrong spots (the cars were still coming) and then spotted the hiding spot.
Thanks for the cache OrionJ.
While signing the log one of those pesky cache dwelling frogs hopped on in.
