I approached this cache from the north, parking on The Boulevard. It felt like I had jogged along this pathway previously, perhaps with parkrun, although I'm sure a lot of these waterfront paths look similar. It was a 500 m one-way jog, and the grossest part was coming across frogs/toads along a particular section, and as I arrived nearby to GZ, I followed a geotrail around a nearby billabong to a cool hidden area. It then took a few minutes to find the cache, and although the cache container was in good shape, the logbook was fragile and a little tattery, but I was still able to unroll and add my name/stamp. Thanks OrionJ for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This evening after assisting with the kids' bedtimes, I headed out to Redland Bay with the lure of a newly published geocache. There were concerns of impending rain, but despite taking a rain jacket, I hobbled around with just a light jumper as I jogged around the different park paths. A couple of hours were spent geocaching under torchlight, and as fatigue set in, it was time to return home to prepare for work the following day.
Back in the geo-car for a few more caches.Decided to hit a few around Redlands and surrounding areas.I found your cache, RBBW - Hanging Out At Paths End today. This is my 2774 find.Too wet to sign. I can send CO a photo of the find if needed.Cache requires attention.OrionJ, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Out and about early this morning with the Moreton Bay adventure lab series as my main objective. Landed at the marina not long after 7am having never been across to this group of islands. It was a glorious morning for it and i managed to pick a few trads as well.Still have a few more to find when next in the area.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by fellow cachers.CheersIn desperate need of a new log.
3/1/2024 Find #6774KBreeAHH, KezzBear and I had business over this way this afternoon, followed by dinner tonight, so decided to grab a couple of caches before needing to be at our first port of call. Parking the car, we headed along and down to GZ for our first cache. It was a pleasant stroll. Except for the massive swarms of Mosquitoes, with one or two warning scout mosquitoes on the way down but the entire cavalry at GZ. I guess we shouldve expected it being around the bay after all the rain weve had lately. This did mean we had to work on a speedy find and exit from here. Luckily the coordinates were pretty spot on, and from the right angle the cache was quickly spotted. We signed the wet and fragile log as 1MinnieMoo and KBx2 then took off back to the car a few pints of blood lighter, and bathed in Bushmans. Thanks for the cache OrionJ.
The new super information highway (assuming the internet backbone is made of concrete) is now complete. The old path now joins with a wide, shiny and new concrete path that continues on, but has no character.
You can see that on the existing path each stone in the cement was individually hand polished and placed with love. The new path was just chewed out by a cement mixer powered by some sort of artificial intelligence that has no appreciation of history.
I enjoyed walking down the old path to GZ and should have removed my shoes for a bit of reflexology. There was no one around to see my not endorse the new path by setting a single foot on it. tftc

There’s a new super highway of a path being constructed almost to GZ…
A lack of workmen meant I could scoot around the barricades… I wasn’t the only rule breaker here though, passing a muggle on the way in…
Once at GZ the cache was quickly spotted and I was soon on my way… thanks OrionJ …

After spending the morning caching around Wellington Point we decided to take a run down to Redland Bay to check out the fenced in pool. After finding a nearby cache we decided to keep walking along this great trail and made a nice quick find at the end. TFTC
Shaking my way through the cobwebs, and there it was in front of me. A quick find. Biggest issue was which short cut could I take. None. It meant more walking.

My friend Serenity Now and i decided to take a walk and find the 3 caches along here and this was the second. At GZ my compass would not settle but once it did it was a few laps and we spotted this cache. The log book was wet beyond repair so i popped a fresh one in. Thanks for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Happy to have found this one though wish we have brought the mosquito repellent. Walking this path after the floods in early April we wondered whether it was still there but there it was up at eye level
This is a lovely out of the way spot! My GPS was taking me around in circles, so I dispensed with it and just used my geo-senses instead. The log sheet was soon in my hand. The sheet is quite damp, but I was able to leave my mark. TFTC
Found!!
Log book very wet and slowly deteriorating, other than that still in good shape

Well we were certainly hanging out. Doing more hanging out than we bargained for. We tip toed our way through the mud and awful looking manky stagnant water to get to the end of the path. Not sure how but the cache was in the 2nd place I looked, usually we don't find these sort too quickly. We walked all the way back to the car tiptoeing and retracing our steps only to find there are no car keys. So we had to tip toe all the way back to the end of the path and thankfully there were the keys laying on the grass. Back through the mud and yukky water for the 4th time and we arrived at the car with mud soaked, wet, dirty, smelly feet and mud splatters up the back of our shirts. Thankfully it was the last cache of the day; well we should have done one more but we called it quite. A fun day indeed in some really pretty areas.
GPS playing up so not sure if I had to go in the wet which I was no prepared for.
Heads up if your driving... I'm not sure where to start, but don't let it be where your GPS tells you to go, on driving directions.
We did that, and noticed a little easement between two properties. So we parked the car in a nearby street, and headed for the easement. Once we got to the end of it, we realised it was a sheer drop straight down to the bicycle path.
Determined, and not really knowing how to access it otherwise, we headed down on our bums and slid down the embankment. Once emerging from the shrubbery at the bottom, there was a really lovely little lake with a duck species I haven't noticed around the Redlands before. And then I noticed something else.... An old man on his bicycle, staring at us, really concerned looking. We had crossed paths at an earlier cache where he wasn't too happy seeming with our presence on his scenic Monday afternoon bike ride.... And now here we are almost 1km away from where we first met, randomly emerging from the bushes while brushing the sticks, leaves and dirt off of our bums. As he has coincidentally stopped to enjoy the sights of the birds and such. We moved off towards GZ this time, and left him to enjoy his sights.
Once arriving to GZ the log was found quickly, but wet, as stated in previous logs. Deciding we should probably wait it out a bit longer to avoid popping up randomly in this man's life yet again... we sat at the trails end in the sun, with the log against the burning hot concrete, and let it dry out a bit.
It was so hot today that it wasn't long before the log was completely dry, we were signing it, and returning it to where it belongs. Should hopefully be a bit dryer for the next person to sign. Thank you for an adventure, and TFTC

We're out on our e-bikes enjoying the views over the bay. An added bonus to find a cache along the way. Mr. Herbz spotted this one right where Mrs. Herbz had previously stood. TFTC
Enjoying a Sunday drive to the coast.
Lovely short walk in for a find here.
Thank you for placing this geocache

Found this one a little hard. Re read the description and found it! Will message owner regarding this one.
Stopped to check and all is good. Log was almost full so added a new one. Happy hunting
Out with Tenkae & E_Smiley picking up our last cache for the day before driving home to the Gold Coast.
Nice quick find here and a bonus of some tasty mangoes collected nearby to travel with us

Had some navigational difficulties getting to this one thanks in part to closed roads and some major roadworks going on in the area. But I finally made it and made a quick find. Interesting to note that there are no names in the physical log for 2019. Thanks for the cache
I’ve been doing this a long time and I still get a little thrill when a cache is hidden in a beautiful little spot thereby fulfilling all of the purposes of geocaching at once. Thankyou! Hadn’t been down here before.
The walk to here was lovely.
We enjoyed seeing the abundant fruit trees and mass plantings of agapanthus on the hillside.
We were looking forward to having a rest bear cache site but the seat has been removed.
Thanks for the cache Orion J.

I can’t believe this one hasn’t been found in over a year.
I’ve been spending a lot more time in the Redlands this year and gradually working my way around the caches on offer.
This morning I arrived early for a meeting so came down here and parked well to the South. It wasn’t too hard to find the path through (though a little surprised by the ‘private property’ fence which doesn’t prevent access to the cache, fortunately.)
A beautiful day here with a scrub turkey enjoying the peace and quiet to build a big nest nearby.
TFTC where all is fine inside and out. Happy to give a Favourite point because it’s worth a visit!

Stopped to check on this one while riding past. Still there and in good condition the log was even dry. Happy hunting.
Beautiful place to walk with gorgeous views at the beginning of the bay. Piercing it all together this was a good find. Thanks for placing
A quick find at "Paths End", it was "Hanging Out" ready for finding. No assistance from modern tech used.
All is good with this one ... **TFTC**

Was out on the bay today and thought of getting a quick smiley on the map. We parked near GZ and walked over. We surveyed the area, while waiting for muggles to finish their walk . We the had a quick search, which lead us to have the cache in hand . Thanks for the cache Orionj .TFTC!!!
Out with Geopartner on our 6th Geobirthday.
A nice wander along till GZ.
A quick search which finally revealed the cache.
Signed the log and returned to where we found it.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks OrionJ All good with this cache

Nice quiet seat to sit on and log this one in a lovely quiet atmosphere surrounded by some mighty big houses with good views I'd say.TFTC.
We are heading toward a milestone event, so we decided to set ourselves a challenge to achieve a few milestones all at once. To manage this however, we have found ourselves on the dark side of town where there is an abundance of caches not too far apart ... perfect for our requirements.
Fortunately, all the caches we found today seemed to be pretty straight forward and we managed to add our name to the log book without any difficulty.
Thank you OrionJ for having placed the series and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

A caching day starting mid-morning around the Redland Bay area with Joojoo57 and nikid1 to start with. Later we were joined by Nadine1989 and Mrs RoddyC and Patrol 14 after nikid1 had to leave us for kiddy duties. All up we managed to find thirteen caches before the predicted storm set in and sent us packing.
Well, who would have known that this area existed. Bike riders seem to have some great places to ride through. Thanks for bringing us here to a quick find, OrionJ
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 12.40pm on 11th August 2016. TFTC

Venturing to an area I have never been to before. Lots of lovely views as well as loads of caches to search for. After finally finding the best place to park we took a leisurely walk to GZ. Some lovely grevilleas in flower along the path. Quick find at GZ. TFTC.
Out for a walk while waiting for my cars windows to be tinted, found it, log dry
After a lot of research and finally being happy with the geocache list it was time to tackle The Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge (QLD) in the Redlands. We were at the first cache by 6.30am and finally finished at 8pm. This was our 24th cache of the day, 25 finds and 2 DNF. So glad this was an easy find, we are not used to caching at night. Logged signed and now off to Capalaba for our final cache for the challenge.

Found the the GZ and took a sit for a bit to enjoy the peacefulness. GeoMan ventured in and found the cache quickly. 1st ones to sign the logbook although signed #21 instead of #1. Love that GeoMan of mine. Great spot. Thanks.
Stopped by this morning and swapped the log over. Also placed a new container so everything was clean and dry.
The seal is broken and the log is sadly far too wet to sign. Couldn't really unroll it as it was starting to tear, really needs a new one as this will never dry out.
This is one of our favorite and most memorable spots in the world, having discovered it and righted many of the world's wrongs here when we first came to Queensland. Came prepared with ink today but the seal is broken and the log is sadly far too wet for us to sign. Couldn't really unroll it as it was starting to tear, really needs a new one as this will never dry out. I have pics if it'll help CO. Thanks for another excuse to come down here. Very peaceful and beautiful. Sad to see they've fenced off the old path continuation for private property though, nothing sacred anymore!
Couldn't find it but there was a lot of water from the rain and a tree had come down behind the seat very recently. Also I am a novice and extremely bad at finding caches still.
Having said that we the view at the top of the hill sitting under the old fig tree is absolutely stunning.

It's all in the name but so pleased to have it Smiling now. Glad I did it by day and could see. TFTC
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 3:05pm. After walking in from the car, we searched the wrong place first then got on the trail and found the cache quickly. TFTC
I had spent the best part of the morning caching around the Redlands area and the two over here were my last stops for the morning. The night before I had worked out where I was going to park and make my entry. So with the dog going off his head across the road I left my car and headed down the foot path. I came face to face with the beautiful lagoon full of lilli's and a white heron looking for something to eat in the warmth of the sun. I'd love to know why the council installed the park seat facing the bank and not the lagoon, seems very odd. After a look around I wandered towards GZ. I noticed the private property sign over on the left and couldn't help but wonder if this small section of park between the two paths is actually private property. It would make sense seeing as theres only a narrow well worn dirt track joining the two, plus all the fruit trees. I saw a mango tree, bananas, figs, limes, pawpaws and mulberry's.
On to GZ and after searching the wrong spot I took a seat and waited for my gps to settle down a bit. While waiting something in the mangroves caught my eye. On closer inspection I found what looks like the remains of an Austin car. I could make out some of the parts that are left but it's hard to imagine an old car sat here that long that it has just rusted away. After taking some photos and looking around for awhile I spun round and spotted the cache.
Wow, what an amazing place you found OrionJ. Appreciate the cache.
Upon returning to the car I noticed the perfect day it was and the view from up top. Not sure why I missed it when I arrived, maybe the dog.

Well today sort of started as a shambles due to something happening in the neighbourhood and in the end I did not go to work.
Then the rain started but eventually I got out to find a cache or four.
I started with this one. A quick find once I got to GZ.
Thanks for the cache.

4th find for easter Monday...we really enjoyed the walk down to this one and just the whole area...thanks for bringing us here and TFTC !
A great, if not wet day out in the Cleveland area caching with Couchmen. I think we picked one of the wettest days of the year to cache on, and later found out that 100mm of ran fell that day. Anyhow, we managed about 20 caches, got soaked, but generally had a lot of fun. We found some great caches and visited some pretty good spots. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches.

An interesting spot here. Passed the banana palms on the way into it. found not where expected. TFTC.

Out today with Blacklegend on our regular Thursday caching day and we had some more to clear out of the Redland Bay/Victoria Point area.
The day hadn't started very promising as it was raining lightly but that wasn't going to stop us (I know Cacher Maniacs) but would it stop you?
We had trouble deciding on the approach to this one as we wanted to get the shortest distance to GZ due to the rain.
We went to one spot and then thought we could get closer so went to another spot and found there was absolutely NO WAY we could get to GZ that way so we headed back to our first point and headed off.
We were surprised at the banana trees that were growing down here and wondered who had planted them.
At GZ I was a bit confused at the possible location so were diverted from the true GZ for a few minutes but when we locked in on GZ we both spotted the cache quickly.
Thanks OrionJ TFTC SL

Having secured a nearby loot, I parked at the end of School of Arts Road, and ventured down hill to this one. Had to walk a little detour to get here, and wondered by the bikeway has not been extended to that part of the shoreline. Well, perhaps it will one year.
When approaching the GZ, the cache name started to suddenly make sense. Well, yeah, the name can be taken quite literally, indeed.
But it wasn't all there: the smartiephone compass pointed away, so it was only fair to follow it.
After checking a couple of potential options at the GZ area, the container suddenly appeared in sight. Nice one, though out in the open.
Log signed, container returned back, and I added some cover even when there are other signs evident that the location contains something man-made.
On the way back to the car took a shortcut but rock hopping uphill. Based on what's visible, looks like lot of people do that. Back in the car it was time to head off, to fix the dinner and enjoy the night.
TFTC, OrionJ!

Lovely area here but it was getting hotter and I couldn't find a quick way to get through to the cache. I will have to come back another time. Thanks OrionJ.
Out on the geocycle. I decided there were enough caches down here again to warrant a trip around. My first of this series I think. A very serene spot this morning. Could have sat here for ages enjoying it, bu there's more caches to be found
This is a lovely area by the Bay that we may never have visited if not for this cache. It was well worth the walk down the hill and along to the magic area where the cache resides. Geocaching has taken us to many spots like this, hidden away, yet quite accessible. TFTC

Oh what a lovely well hidden spot this area is. If it wasn't for geocaching people would never know it is here. Plenty of birdlife in the nearby waterhole. Knowing a little about where the CO likes to hide his caches, we quickly found the cache. TFTC.
#85- Definitely a favourite for me, this one! I should have taken a book and spend the rest of the afternoon in blissful peace and quiet near the lagoon... An easy find a that. TFTC OrionJ
