Out and about early this morning with the Moreton Bay adventure lab series as my main objective. Landed at the marina not long after 7am having never been across to this group of islands. It was a glorious morning for it and i managed to pick a few trads as well.Still have a few more to find when next in the area.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by fellow cachers.Cheers
With the quick find of this geocache neighbour in this series, I decided to U-turn and take a drive to this geocache, hoping to repeat the same formula. I parked across the road and hurried across following a truck, and another quick cache find was had. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks OrionJ for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. ---------- This evening, the lure of a newly published geocache had me travel to Redland Bay after dinner. A pleasant balmy evening had me in high spirits despite the long drive, and upon my suburb arrival, I found a couple of Redland Bay Bike Way (RBBW) geocaches, before turning my attention to the geocaches dotted along the beach esplanade path when [Imbunda](https://coord.info/PRA3T0H) joined me. I then returned back to the freeway south via Serpentine Creek Road, and used the opportunity to find three older Q1000 geocaches.
Once I worked out that the cache isn’t in the under growth that the gps was trying me into, it was a quick find.

Happy to advise that ‘the Guardian’ has moved on. Nice, straight forward cache. Thanks for the placement.
Oh my lordy. That spider in the corner was huge and hairy. I knew where the cache was and brave 1MinnieMoo made the grab for me to write our names in. Sheesh.

Today was a day of many things, none of which involved being a work day. The start involved some self-care, with me having an acupuncture session, and while I was doing that, SaintsMadHouse decided to kill some time herself getting her nails done.
Then it was time to meet up over in her neck of the woods for mischief.
We started off with a quick search for some shorts, as for some unknown reason SaintsMadHouse had decided today, in the middle of a heatwave, would be a good day for her to wear jeans. With that achieved, we grabbed gelato next before heading to the bed shop to try out a fancy pants bed.
Having ticked off a number of items from today’s list, we decided it was time to leave the shopping centre and head towards the bay for a couple of caches.
We very much didn’t have a lot of time, as duty was calling for me on the Northside before the afternoon was over, so we planned out just a couple of caches to make a bit of a loop to head back to the shopping centre, where my car awaited.
Our final cache of the day, we pulled up and I instantly noticed the guardian. Ohhhh!
Well he certainly gave us the heebie jeebies, so much so that SaintsMadHouse decided she would stay safely inside her vehicle on the other side of the car and sacrifice little old me.
So pulling up my big girl panties, I decided on my plan of attack, a pen the only distance between me and that creature - a creature which I am sure was strong enough to have bent that metal sign itself to make its hiding spot!!
Now getting the cache was one thing, and I managed that and the signing. The replacing however, was another thing altogether. I couldn’t exactly utilise the pen to return the cache, so that meant being that little bit braver, and getting my hand right up close.
Using speed and gritted teeth, I managed to slip the cache back in its location, and then used the pen to make sure it was far enough in. Then I leapt back in the car and shook off the repulsions I felt - after getting some evidence pics of course.
Thanks for the cache OrionJ.

After attending the 2 CITO's and finding a whale, Peppa and I are searching for caches that we both haven't found.
Last one for today and Peppa located this cache in its hide. SL then returned as found.

Got recalled into work at Redland Bay today, couldn't leave the area without grabbing just one cache to fill a calender spot.
Apologies for the late log, it's normally not this bad. At the time of finding, the log was half full and I was the first to write on the back.
All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise.
Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **OrionJ**

This was a nice quick find. I spotted it from some distance away. All is ticketyboo here. Log is nice and dry. TFTC
Spent a lovely day out with Selva Girls to find a few caches. Nice quick find. TFTC
No luck for us today. I felt a bit awkward having two kids on the side of such a busy road. I couldn't relax as I felt like someone was going to stop and ask if the car had broken down or if we needed help. A quick search but nothing found so back in the car and onto another. Thanks anyway.
House sitting for friends so in the area for a few days and decided to leave the dogs for a few hours and cache. This one took longer than it should have!! Thanks OrianJ for the cache.
Good to be able to replace blue icon with a yellow smiley face.
Found it easily today.
Thanks For The Cache OrionJ.

How could we not find this one with a cache name like that. Had to get Michael out of the car to retrieve the cache seeing as Liz and I are both vertically challenged

Stopped to check and all is well still some space on the log so will leave that for now. Happy hunting
Caching with my main squeeze Oddiewan and my best friend Moneydork. We had several free caching hpurs and chose this unloved trail of caches to take a leisurely hile enjoying our common love of caching.
We thought we would do an unloved trail today. Out and about with Semik and moneydork, bitterna4, flashcat.

I found your cache with my Dad, Oddiewan and most of the time, Semik. I am way behind on logging so learned how to use templates so I can catch up. Sorry this is not a detailed log, but I will do better with my logging now that I have the ability to log caches on a mobile phone. Thanks for the cache OrionJ
I pulled up right next to GZ and quickly spotted the cache. Had to time my grab and return between passing cars. Thanks for the cache
Us northerners have no idea where we are going so have to trust our Satnav completely. It took us 2.9 kms away from the cache just to do a U turn. We have heaps of these ones further north. TFTC
Unfortunately this was a DNF for us today.
We'll watch to see if others find it.

Early Sunday was a good time to park nearby and make my way down the road. I spotted the cache pretty quickly and had a useful tool in hand to extract it sign, and replace. All good here so TFTC.
Amusing cache title. Squirrellette wasn’t tall enough to reach this one but, luckily, I'm slightly taller. Cache is in great condition. Thanks OrionJ
I had to go back to rectify the blue sad face situation!! This time I parked somewhere else and saw the cache on approach!! #shortgirlissues #cachewhatcache . Happy to report a quick and easy find here (this time). Tftc
This had to be one of our quicker finds today. Geocachers need all types so it's nice to get a quick easy one sometimes. It was very hot out geocaching today so this quick one was much appreciated. We are enjoying our drive in the air-conditioned car however and thank you OrionJ for placing this cache for us to find. Cheers and happy caching......
Caching day in the Redlands area and we enjoyed finding a variety of caches and visiting various parks, cemeteries and more parks! Thanks to all the COs who showed us many aspects of this coastal suburb.
Whilst visiting the area today this was a nice quick find with geo friends, thanks OrionJ
Back in lower Redlands area again today for our second caching day of caching the Serpentine Creek areas. Today it's the northern section from Days Road south. Again, it is a very hot day, which also saw out caching efforts shortened just after lunch when it just became too hot to continue and not suffer any consequences tomorrow. [xx(]
We began our search south of Kidd Street, collecting yellow smiley faces there, and then turned to the road traveling north. Happy to advise that this cache is safe and sound in its hiding spot.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 9.30am on 25th January 2017. TFTC

This was our roadside caches as it was getting too hot for the bush ones and we needed a break before returning to the bush.
A nice quick find
Signed the log and returned to where we found it.

I was passing the area and noticed a new addition to the location sure enough cache was not in position. Replacement container now in place at the hint.
That was a quick find. Rick had been complaining that all the others were hard.
A bit trickery but with the help of a stick it was soon signed sealed and delivered back to hide
# 760 - Out with gcraider today on a caching adventure in the Redlands. I had seen one of these before, but gcraider was the one who spotted it first (because of his size!)

I pulled the car up and kicked MrsFlag out to retrieve the cache as there was really only one possible place for it. Sure enough she was back lickety-split and the log signed off. TFTC.
Found yesterday w Flagmarshall39. OMG, really? with so much traffic around?. Gonna have to be real quick to grab and replace this one. Tftc
At a Guide Leaders training and had some time to spare before happy hour easy find, flung it in further accidently, but shouldn't be too hard to get.
Out for a little walk with my guiding buddy ljcleavage. Found this little devil in the likely spot. Tftc
Luckily I found one placed exactly the same down the Gold Coast yesterday or I would have missed this one! Lol

We are catching up with some very late logs.
Day two of our 4 day trip to the Gold Coast and surrounds and we are enjoying picking up some caches in good weather.
Number 4 for us in this series and the area lived up to the cache name.
Good co ordinates soon had us adding our name to the log.
Many thanks once more OrionJ for this very interesting series.

On the way back from the bush with OrionJ and Whird when OrionJ suddenly pulled over and told me to get out. Either he's making me walk or there is a cache, hopefully its the latter. Yep, I could pretty much reach it from the car. Nice hide. Quickly in and out. TFTC! - Didn't not realise it was one of yours J!
Had to do this one twice. Took brother-in-law along with us as he is getting hooked on this. Found it on the second try. Need an extracting twig to get it. Fun hide. TFTC
I had started today doing a solo bushwalk up the Redland area and had a great time and still had some time left so I headed across the road to grab as many as I could.
Another quick park and grab, at this rate I could pick up all the unfound ones.
Thanks Orion J TFTC SL

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 3:23pm. Couldn't see the cache for quite some time so looked elsewhere but came back again to GZ, and it was there. TFTC
Decided to go caching mid week - yeah to holidays. Found on our way to Cleveland where we cached and enjoyed a seafood lunch at the Grand Hotel. Spotted this one quickly by luck. It was well hidden. Enjoyed the hunt TFTC OrionJ
Plenty of room ahead of GZ to pull over safely off the road way. Headed back with a fair idea where it was and bingo. Got the log signed and replaced in between passing traffic.
Cheers OJ

Coming from south, I drove around the corner, and then again around the corner to the Waste Transfer Station gate. It has just closed a bit earlier, so parking there was no issue. Then a little hike through the scrub to the GZ.
I had an initial idea, and went through the place. Nothing turned up, so started to confirm the coordinates. They took me elsewhere, but that didn't make sense in light of the description. After reading a couple of older logs, I returned back to the original and opened the eyes much better. Then suddenly, something untypical caught my eye.
At a quiet moment, got out the container, retreated a little away to sign the log, then waited for another break in the traffic to secure the container back.
I've contemplated similar cache placements in some locations. Nice to see what it can be achieved at least this way.
TFTC, OrionJ!

I think I might be going the wrong way around the loop. The caches are all on the wrong side of the road
I think I prefer this way. The main road will be mostly downhill this way which means less time on it for me.
Waited for the lights to change before grabbing this one

Thought I might try my hand caching around the Redlands Bay and Cleveland area. Hit some of the "Path" series of caches and a stack of others. Did a little bit of walking, but were able to get to most of them by driving. Few DNF's for the day. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches.

Did a few in this series, good to be able to visit the area and get some done. TFTC.

Waiting for the GPS signal to settle we walked passed GZ and headed straight for the geotrail, however something was telling us to look at the obvious first. Soon after we had it in our hand, signed and replaced before the group of gathering cyclists on the other side of the road became too large. TFTC
another of the series found in. Quick park and run before the cycling muggles asked is what we were doing! Luckily they were on other aide of the road! TFTc
This was the 5th for the day and after the bump I was feeling very confident and parked opposite this one and didn't even take the GPS with me this time.
Luckily the cache was in the spot I thought it would be and then I extracted it during a break in the traffic.
Thanks OrionJ Next one was the Roadside Stop.
