Hope to get down and do some maintenance on this cache is the next 3 weeks ready for school holiday cachers.
Out with Richmond Lad, finding a few caches. We arrived at the waypoint and made our calculations. Off to GZ. There, we searched and searched without luck. Looking at photos on the cache page, we were in the right spot, but we couldn't find the cache. We will be back once the cache has been replaced.
Nice fun find with Cyllest.
Bit of a walk but found it pretty quick once at the GZ

I took a wrong turn near home which resulted in my deciding to come to the Coast for a day of caching...
Always on the lookout for a multi or two to complete, this was a good choice to start my day...
Parked at the Gold Coast Pigeon Club (who knew) and made my way over to collect the required information...
Once at GZ I made the find in the second place I checked as the first didn’t quite match the hint... tftc...

Up this way for a meeting, so planned a side trip to get some of those annoying circles on the map without smiles. It was a quiet morning so easy park and grabbed the information. Co-ords loaded and off for a stroll. Never knew this was here!
Arrived at GZ and from the right angle, spied the cache. TFTC grundies

Looked for this one back in May pretty extensively but without any luck. With the logs since it was a quick find today. Was a lovely walk with the ducks. TFTC
We had grabbed the required information for this one previously but left to final for a day when we needed a quick local cache. Not well today so this was a pleasant short walk and an easy find after dark, as long as you use the help of previous finders and look 28m to the easy of the final. Tftc
Found with Dad for the jewel heist, I saw lots of ducks resting and a big Goose, TFTC
Out with Black Flag Son to get some caches for the Jewel Heist. I had come to attempt this before without reading it properly, so didnt attempt it. After actually reading it properly this time, we found the necessary information and started off to GZ. It took a little while to locate and was moving from one paper bark tree to another until I read a log that mentioned they had found it a little further than they thought. After following their suggestion it wasnt long that I made the find and can mark it off, phew. Great spot around here there was quite a few ducks and geese out and about which was great. Signed and returned as found, TFTC.
Cords were off by 28 meters to the east, found it on the ground so have placed it head high again, and loved the ducks that were around
Looking in all the head high places with Severus to eventually find it between my feet. Hanging now. Tftc
Spent the morning out Caching with EatAllThePie - I had been eyeing this cache off for a while and wanted to go and check it out as it was our first multi-cache. After a little bit of searching we found it easily! TFTC!
Nice hide! You will need to walk east of GZ to find, but we'll hidden from public eye
Spent much longer than expected here. Coords for the plaque were off but quickly found anyway. Wandered over to GZ and after reading previous activity, realised I had a big area to search. Found cache 28metres East of GZ. TFTC and for bringing me to this lovely area!

Thursday. I was out today with RIO and we were on the lookout to collect some great caches as I rarely come to this area. This cache certainly fit the bill for us and we were on it with gusto! We could see it was very unloved and the cache had been replaced and after finding the sign we needed (we found our co-ords were a bit out on this, but the sign is still fairly easy to find), we got the answer we needed and headed off on a walk to get this little sucker. Well.. what we thought was going to be a quick find turned out to be somewhat longer than we thought. We spent what must have been an hour or so here and searching the likely looking spots, we read some previous logs and decided to expand our search parameters. Whilst RIO went one way, I went the other. Still no luck. We were about to call this one and I thought I would look up the way RIO had been. We then found the cache! Yay. Happy dance indeed! A very loved cache find today so this was icing on the cake for us. Had GZ 28 metres from find.
This was the 6th of 12 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***grundies***, for showing us this place.

So pleased to have found this cache. It took us about an hour and when Kerry spied it, we both had the coords as 28 m out. It’s now time for a happy dance . TFTC Grundies
Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

Unsure if this one is still in play or missing in action.
Spent a bit of time looking, with 11yr old grand-daughter & her friend but nothing presented itself.
Decided to move on to something a little more 'productive' for the kids.
As we returned to the Geo-Beast a friend PAFed asking for a nudge on another cache further afield & in the ensuing discussion this cache was mentioned.
As my friend had previously found this cache he sent through a couple of photos & a 'hint' both of which did not fit the cache page description.
Now I'm wondering if the cache description & hint are still relevant???
Some sort of confirmation from the CO that the cache is actually still in place would be good.

I met ducks and a couple of geese at GZ but couldn't find the cache. Thanks anyway for bringing me to this pleasant spot
I appreciate an easy multi, and this one was easy to get to. I was able to drive within 3 metres from the final. Shhhhh, don't tell anyone, but Jarrahtree and I did have the Mr2 with us.
Thanks grundies

Grabbing some caches on the way home and this quick multi was on our route. A quick walk around in the heat (didn't reslise it was that hot!) and we had the cache signed and replaced. Tftc!
The remains two white ducks helped us find it. It was lovely to do a very quick multi with a nice walk in a lovely area. A bonus was a run away dacshund- those little buggers can shift. Tftc
I had brought my geokid to QLD for the weekend so she could catch up with her old school friend and while that was happening my other geokid and I went for some caches to get my QLD tally over 10. Got the infi needed the with geokid on piggy back had a nice stroll to cache which was found quickly. We then talked about why dogs should be on leads as she asked plenty of questions about the 2 white ducks. Thanks grundies for the cache.
I was in the area caching with plenty of time on my hands so a Multi seemed like a good idea.
Have they moved the plaque[?] My GPS was about 25m out.
Quickly worked out the final coordinates and set off for a very pleasant stroll.
Thanks for the enjoyable Multi.

Went looking for this with GCGem after we solved the second Mission GC clue about a week earlier.
The ducks waddled over to say hi while we were tracking down the cache.
Great spot. Thanks for the cache grundies.

It's been a while since we were last down this way so we grabbed the opportunity to swing by this cache again. After our previous DNF here when it was missing in action we are happy to turn this one into a smiley at last. Our pen didn't want to write on the log paper but we managed to get our scratchy signature on it eventually.
Thanks for placing ad maintaing this cache grundies.

Quickly found the answer to the question from nearby the posted coordinates and plugged it into my phone with prying eyes of the boys at the skate park watching me.
Headed off and was soon out of sight from them and enjoyed the peaceful walk to GZ!
There is some sort of memorial right at GZ for some ducks who seemed to have killed by a dog who wasn't on a leash Very sad.
The container was found in mint condition at GZ with only one name in it I believe!
Thanks for the quick multi and walk, last cache for the day

The geomuts were eager to go out for their daily walk. We thought we'd incorporate finding a cache as well. We really should have found this cache before now as it's relatively close to home so today we decided to rectify it. With the geomuts loaded into the geomobile we were off. Once we were heading to the WP our GPSr wanted us to go in the opposite direction but as Mr. Herbz had already spotted a likely plaque we ignored it. After a short read we found what was required and were soon off to the final spot. A very pleasant evening stroll around the lake. We soon spied a likely spot but that wasn't it. Widening our search area Mrs. Herbz spied something shiny, yep, that's it! Continuing our stroll we ended up behind some houses and saw two familiar black and white geomuts barking at us as we passed. TFTC Grundies, our geomuts enjoyed this one too.
Advised CO to replace the cache and the log as it is missing. He is happy for us to log a find as we were there and Snickersallan has to reach a personal goal before the year end.
Lovely place. Thanks for taking us here.
Lovely place. Thanks for taking us here.
New container in place and a slight adjustment to position for a better since GZ has changed appearance since the original hide. Thanks for the reminders to the patient cachers who have been waiting.
Approval to log find with E:) as cache has been taken, hope the big ducks near GZ wern't the culprits. Thanks for bringing us here to such a pleasant location & TFTC ☺
Did the calcs and off we went. Cache wasn't in the obvious spot so we widened our search but had no luck. Made friends with the ducks tho'.
Thanks for the history lesson anyway grundies - love it.

Heading back down to the Gold Coast from Brisbane today and after a later than planned start I needed a cache I could do on the way.
I almost did this one a couple of weeks ago but clicked on the wrong one on the map and ended up doing another one nearby instead. I found the necessary information easily at the first waypoint and then it was a pleasant walk to GZ to find the cache.

As all the caches we were doing today was part of our plan for the challenge, we had to get this one. RoddyC was nice enough to come down to check it out on Monday (and had kindly done the WPs as well and recorded the final for us to go straight to) and found it missing. After consulting the CO, he replaced it as it was not all there (they did find parts of it), but when we got there it was gone again! Must be the ducks! Have replaced it and RoddyC will let CO know, and have taken photo proof. We had the WP pointed out to us for our reference, but we didn't get a chance to have a look at it. TFTC! Lovely water nearby!
Out geocaching with geoson & friends today. Great day with plenty of laughs & finds. Thanks for a fun filled day. Beautiful area on the northern Gold Coast. TFTC
Early start for our unique difficulty terrain challenge day of 25 caches and this was the twenty third one today.
Out with a great bunch of geocachers today.
Worked out the coordinates and headed for the final.
A nice walk in the area.
Some birdlife was seen in the area.

An opportunity to complete a D/T challenge in the Coomera area with RoddyC, Team Benders, King-fisher8, Jackxena62 and Sezzz.

Today is our day for completing the D/T 25 Unique challenge, and our group consisted of Team Benders, King-fisher8, jackxena62, Sezzz and NurseyJulie, along with Mrs and Mrs RoddyC.
WP1 was an easy find and the number required duly retrieved and the maths done.
When we arrived at GZ, we cold see where the extensive whipper-snipping had been done, but there was no cache here. So we hurriedly put together a Bison so we could all claim the find. Messaging the CO hoping that is OK. It would be too bad if this Multi was archived - its history is interesting.
No 22 of 25. Found at 4.55 pm on 16th May 2015. TFTC.

Spotted cache had come to grief due to an overzealous whipper snippet crew and container and contents flung far and wide with no sign of log book or trackable. Put container back together but may be a day or two before I get a new log book in it.
In the area visiting family, and I fortunately had a little time to knock over a multi. It's been on my to-do list for a while, so off I went to GZ. Easy grab of the required info and a quick calc to get the required coords. After a stroll I found GZ but had to wait for a couple walking a quartet of dachshunds before making the grab. All is in good order here, TFTC
I drove around the roundabout and then decided to check elsewhere for a park.
I then walked to GZ and thought that was an odd place to be so I checked out the area where the previous cache had been years ago. That was too far away from GZ so I went back and looked around for a while and spotted something and wandered over to check it out. That gave me the answer I wanted and then I headed off to find the cache.
I enjoyed the stroll and, unfortunately, I arrived at the location of the cache and found it quickly. I then continued on my walk and took another route back to the car.
A fav point for bringing me to this historic spot. TFTC

Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA
So with 4 days of caching and over 100+ finds under our belts so far, we've had a great time touring around caching and seeing new places Lovely to cache in the warm QLD weather as well!
Apologies for the somewhat generic logs- it's not easy remembering every single hide so far!
Thanks very much to all of the cache owners for their hides

Second day venturing around the Gold Coast region with specimenX and we were out caching once again. We had a very enjoyable day out and about.
Apologies to all the cache owners for generic logs however we enjoyed the day wandering around the Upper Coomera and Surrounds.
We decided to kick the day off with a multi in Oxenford. This multi was quickly solved and we headed off towards a VERY familiar location. There was actually a cache here last time I was on the Gold Coast and I had made a find here.

Solved the little puzzle last week but had no time to find it. This time more time and had a Litte walk. And a nice and easy find. Nice place here. Tftc No TB in it though.
After yesterdays run down to NSW to find a few different types of caches for a challenge I am slowly working on back in Melbourne. The kids wanted to return to Wet 'n Wild today and my lovely wife happily let me go caching for a few hours instead to gather some Queensland caches for the same challenge.
This was a nice little multi, information was quickly gathered fairly close to the start waypoint then a short stroll later my duck friends weren't happy about me searching near them especially the large male duck but after half a minute the log was signed and I left them in peace.
Thanks grundies for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

I loved all the historical information in the description and particularly the old photos. With the numbers gathered from the sign, I set off for a wander. There was even a small water tap en route to fill up one of the water bottles. A lovely and fitting location for GZ, and it was just me and the ducks. Thanks to grundies for the cache.
Camping nearby for the week and this morning was my first walk for the week, I covered 6.5kms on foot to find 2 traditionals and a multi. With the information and numbers needed easily found, a quick calculation was made and puppy were and I were on our way to the final location. Find was made nice and quickly, log book signed but no TB to be found. TFTC grundies

Found with misssusan, bennyboppers and geokids. We got to gz and found the cache, our pen wasn't working but we signed with a stick. We read the sign about a sad story of a duck nearby so took a photo to prove we were here. RIP duckie. Tftc
Found with bennyboppers, lisylou and all the geokids. Our pen didn't work so we took photos and etched our names in the log.
Found with lisylou and missussan and geokids no pen so scratched in as best we could took a photo to prove we found it tftc
I wrote this note only cause there is a Rip notice on GZ saying duck I a dead from a Off lead dog, that's why I said no off lead dogs! Also the ducks are looked after by neighbours and they feed them and say to feed them! So they must be neighbours ducks not wild ones . But anyway unsure why my photo of the RIP notice got deleted but your cache so it's up to you.
Despite DChannell's comments to the contrary DOGS ARE ALLOWED on lead in this area. I walk mine here regularly, along with many others, on lead as any responsible owner would, without incident of any kind as the birds are used to this and completely ignore my dogs.
On the Second point DO NOT Feed the birds as this is a wild life reserve.

Doesn't need maintenance!!! Just want to notify owner.
Please remove dogs allowed attribute and add in description to bring food for ducks....
A truly loved duck from the neighbours and visitors got killed by a off lead dog.
The ducks live on GZ!! And don't want them getting tortured by seeing another dog up close or chasing/barking at them.
