Found our first geo cache!! Super easy if you take a few minutes to have a think. Have fun!
The Bitners were at home but there were some local council workers at lunch in their caravan nearby, stealth was needed. TFTC
Easy find on a rainy morning with no muggles around. Glad to redeem a previous DNF here, even though I searched the exact place before, I found it today. TFTC The DinoMites
As I approached the GZ, I was at a loss for where the cache might be. I had a quick read of the logs, and quickly understood where it must have moved to.
A brief delay waiting for a couple of muggles to pass before I was able to find, retrieve, sign and replace.

Out caching in the area, I had read (and thoroughly enjoyed) the previous logs for this, so it was a pretty easy find. Amazing that the cache survived!
Sad that the 40 trees planted here to commemorate 40 years of Amnesty Internationals work don’t seem to have survived. Maybe the council could put some play equipment and plant some more trees - it’s a lovely little spot!

We were really lost when we first arrived at GZ, but some recent logs narrowed down where it could be. Soon enough, we had CIH. TFTC!
Found the cache about 10m away from GZ. There isn't much else magnetic around so the search area wasn't too hard to hone in on.
Found this cache at the familiar magnetic spot.
We couldn’t get the log out of the container and Made a photo instead.

Recording this as a DNF, but later met the CO who explained he is repairing it and will replace it soon. I will find it once replaced.
Lovely to see a log from 2014 still in such great condition! It is however pretty much full! There's a few spots available still but not too many. TFTC!
It was literally on the grass in the middle of the park...im guessing a muggle moved it.
It was magnetised, so i stuck it somewhere magnetic

Thanks. This cache was originally stuck under a see-saw in the Park. The see-saw has been removed and I haven’t seen the cache since, although I have looked. I can’t believe it’s survived!
Took a bit longer to find it as mentioned by others. But it is still in a good condition. The log is already full. Thank you for the geocache.
#1781 found with alnic39 took a bit longer to locate the cache as the coords are probably for the original hide not where it has been moved to following the removal of the play equipment it was at
Signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache The Dino-Mites

Took a little while, as the coords were suggesting a clear area. This area must have had the see-saw. TFTC
I don't know how people are finding this cache! I can't find it since they removed the see-saw from the park, and I walk through the park every day!
Found the container intact, but it's new location is bound to be muggled very soon, and the aren't any better places for it around. Suggest a new container type to avoid being muggled. TFTC!
Stopped off on my way back home from the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road Dural, to find this one. It had been a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging, and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat, but now it was time to collect some more caches on the homeward journey. This was the 17th of 18 finds, and 2 DNF's, for the day.
Parked the geomobile in Abuklea Road and then wandered across the park to GZ. Spotted the cache container as I approached GZ, as it was lying on the grass out in the open. TNLNSL but, as I had no idea where it was suppose to be hidden, I just tucked it away at the nearest feature to the published coords. Will send details to the CO of where it is located. In the area for work and I thought it was a great opportunity to grab a special cache that is nearby for my 500th. However, before I could get 500, I had to get 499. Found this quick little park and grab. Recoded for You Tube, signed the log and I was on my way. Cache# 499 TFTC
Finally found some time to sit down and catch up on my logs, some I have good memories of and others were just another cache on just another day.
Found this one late on a Tuesday night with Martin Cousins after attending the Epping Club. It helped that MC had found this cache previously. SL #2918 on streak day #1692 TFTC

I knew the Bitners too, they went to my church. Cool to learn that there is a cache dedicated to them.

A bit of caching on a Sunday afternoon, just on the other side of Lane Cove Park, in the area of Macquarie and North Ryde.
The wonderful climate makes everything grows fast in Australia. Not only my tomato plants in the backyard, but also the Bitner family in their house on Raymond Street was growing fast during their stay . Then it is very useful to have a playground nearby, with a swing and a seesaw. And also with a small geocache!
Thanks for the cache.

Spending the afternoon caching around Vimiera Rd. This was my sixth stop and a quick find. Thanks for the tip about the ally way to get to Vimiera/Nothing - although I came in the opposite direction.

Today I was in the neighborhood & had a chance to try 1 or 2 caches. I knew where to look, but the neighbor was getting his clothes from the clothesline and I had to wait. As soon as I was by myself, it was a quick finding. Thanks The Dino-Mites! Nice to hear about your friendship

We teamed up again with Phantom Cyclist for a bit of caching around Macquarie Park area this morning. This one would have to be one of the quickest and easiest finds, considering all the information available.
Duties were done quickly, adding both names to the log and all was returned to where it had been found. Thank you to The Dino-Mites for placing this cache.

Went out with goingplaces2 to find a few caches. This cache was found quickly and easily. The log was signed and the cache was replaced as found. Thank you The Dino-Mites for placing this cache.
On another mission, hint was spot on. Would suggest to be aware of spiders that my be present
The clue makes it very easy to find. Read it again and look for key words if you don't understand it!
Took a detour on our way home, nice little park and we're happily having a play after finding the cache. SL TFTC.

What a beautiful spot!! Thanks for binging me down to this lovely shady park
We missed out on this when it turned out to be missing back in August 2014. Today it was muggle-free and in place and the start of our Sunday midday caching walk. Nice shady place to park. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
This late evening sevabo and I found this cache before go home for the night. TFTC
Accompanied by skyejam, lovely cool evening for caches. Thanks The Dino-Mites for the caches
First cache on my list today, was a nice quick find in a pretty location. Luckily, not a muggle in sight! TFTC

Today I wanted to go to Macquarie Park, but the train didn't go there. That`s way I get out in Epping.
I went through Epping and sought and found some caches.
This was a quick found.

This was the second of four finds for today. After finding "Eastwood County Road #4 [Marsfield]", I wanted to find another cache to fill a missing date on the dates hidden calendar and this one fit the bill. I parked across the road from the playground and after considering the hint, knew exactly where to look. A quick park and grab. SL. TFTC.

Get hide! Very fun to run around the park looking for it!!! The clue was extremely helpful!
After grabbing the nearby cache at the MQ Library (which was the main target of our geo-excursion to Sydney today), Mumma-Kel and I decided it would be folly not to grab a few more in the area, including this one, while we were here.
Being of a certain age and gender, I'm not a fan of playground hides but with an 8-year old and her Mum in tow today, ratting around playground equipment was no a problem ... besides, the park was deserted, which itself was a bit of a surprise given we're in the middle of the school hols. Anyway, with Geojorjy playing on the play equipment suggested by the hint, we were able to make a quick find here. Thanks Dino-Mites.

On a geomission with Opa-Shrek and one of the Geokids today whenever we came upon play equipment GeoJorjy was off like a shot leaving Opa-Shrek and I to do the work, although here we found we needed to follow her - in the sederted park she made short work of the find though, then had a quick play before we moved on
Streak day #173 - since discovering the extra statistics on project-gc I have been trying to cross off month and day hidden gaps where I can. This cache ticks off the last month hidden date that I need for the 2013 year. So I have now found a cache hidden for each month back to mid 2010 and I only have two more months to tick off in both that year and 2009. Anyway back to the cache. I decided to swing by this cache after figure skating lessons since it's nearby. Since I already have the disadvantage of caching at night I checked the hint. I knew straight away what I was looking for, as I wandered towards GZ I heard a car coming down the side street, so I hid the light of my torch. Once the car was gone I quickly had CIH. I signed the log and was back in my car before another muggle car could pass. TFTC.
A spot of caching today while the Mrs shops at Macquarie. Luckily the playground was abandoned despite the warm sunshine!

TFTC. Great hiding place! Hope you were able to keep in contact with the Bitners.
It's nice to see they've kept the old swing sets instead of tearing it down to replace it with modern 'bubblewrap kids' play equipment
