I am regretfully archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, ba21nga, requesting additional time.
An ample opportunity has been provided for the Cache Owner to respond, but since this opportunity has been ignored, I can only conclude that the cache has been abandoned.
Caches archived under these circumstances are unable to be Unarchived, and this location is now available for the placement of a new cache, by somebody else.

Today the geocaching mission for TaurusSix and myself was to leave Bunbury very very early and head to the Kojonup and Katanning areas to try and obtains FTF’s for the many new caches that had come out yesterday. We had noticed them on Friday evening so decided to change our plans for Saturday and give them a go. As we were nearing Kojonup we still thought we were in luck as they had not been logged and the red FTF was still showing on the app. Expectatantly at gz we jumped out of the car only to find the first one had been found already. We must of only been a few minutes behind. As we refreshed the app we could see another cachers was heading from the opposite direction claiming the FTF.
Never mind though and well done to all the cachers who got there first.
It was still a great day for us , the drive was really pleasant and the sun rise was quite spectacular. Thanks Boyzrule5 for placing all these new caches and the interesting history lessons about the series.
We were not optimistic with this given all the dnf’s but thought we would give it a go anyway. Alas there was no cache in sight.

##Cache Maintenance Required please.##
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit, to address the issue described in the logs.
The cache owner needs to either fix the problem or archive the listing, after picking up any geo-litter. In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page.
See the maintenance section of the [Geocache Hiding Guidelines](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance).
If there is a good reason for a delay in enabling this cache, please post an update note log here on the cache page so that everyone will know what's going on.
When the maintenance is completed, you can re-enable the listing by entering an "Enable Listing" log, and then post an "Owner Maintenance" log to clear the "Needs Maintenance" attribute, if set.
I will check back in 30 days to be sure that the maintenance has been done, or that further information has been provided.
If there has been no action to repair the cache, or explain the situation, unfortunately I will need to Archive this cache. Caches archived because of lack of maintenance will not be unarchived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

No luck for us this time. Will be back for another search next time we come visit Katanning.
I walked over. Unfortunately it’s looking very dead around GZ. You might want to relocate it. Thanks.
We had morning tea at the Dome (beautifully restored Flour Mill) and decided it was a beautiful, sunny, winter’s day, so we got the scooters out and went for a scoot around town.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Katanning.
We found all the caches we were looking for, nice and easy, except for the one little, that had a couple of dnfs, but absolutely rapt to come up trumps with a find, yes it was rather tricky.
A great series of Caches, thanks to the CO for sharing the wonderful locations around town.

Nice bush walk and an interesting race track in middle of somewhere.

Found it. TFTC ba21nga. Walked over form the other side. Wow, it’s so exposed but no one in site.
Met up with some other cachers at this one and had a chat.
We hadn’t been on a road trip for a while so the long weekend provided an opportunity to do a bit of planning and set a course for Katanning. We followed a meandering course from Perth collecting smilies along the way. This cache was one we had targeted for the trip. Cheers and TFTC.
G’day there ba21nga, I was in this area today and found your cache O'Callaghan Park Racecourse GC4FYYD. I added my name to the log book at 5:02 pm on 29 February 2020. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

A quick find after an early morning stroll.
Decided to head country for a couple of days caching.
TFTC ba21nga this is find # 8102 for us.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.

We saw the previous log but thought we should stop anyway... Would have replaced the container had we found some previous remnants but we did not find anything?

Found it sort of. This one has been the victim of a lawn mower. We found all the items scattered around a tree. Must have just happened too, because the geo-cache instruction paper was still dry. (see pic) I will log this separately as needs replacing / maintenance / archiving till it's fixed.
This cache has been wrecked by a lawnmover. I have included a pic to show the damage. It needs replacing or archiving.
Our GPS had us accessing this one from the wrong place. We would have had to climb a fence and then bush bash through the scrub to get to GZ. Surely we thought there would be a better way to get to a racecourse.
So we did what we should have done in the first place and read the cache description.
Detailed directions soon had us at the racetrack and then we started to drive around the track to get us closer to GZ but came to a large puddle which might have been a bit tricky in the campervan. So returned to the start and walked across the middle of the track to GZ where the cache was quickly found.
Then the rain started and we had to shelter beside a tree to get some cover.
No hoof prints on the track today only dog paw prints.
Thanks.

Found it on a caching trip to Katanning to stay at the new Premier Mill Hotel with Hally 4. TFTC
On an epic journey with kiwinic to grab a few local kataning caches and try to collect all the souvenirs ending with the turtle TFTC
I parked in a terrible spot and had to trek through the bush bit kinda made it an adventure haha
We drove around for a while but decided we had to walk. It was raining so was not great fun.
We logged the cache and then it stopped raining.
Cache was very visible as they have cut the weeds but the locals must know about it as it was left in place.
Thanks for the cache.

Found along with allinaday on a day trip to Katanning and surrounds. Nice easy find for the geokids. TFTC!
Nice easy find here at the old Racecourse. Still being used by some horses judging by all the hoof prints around the track. TFTC
Driving back to Perth after a weekend away in Albany with cravo10, grabbing a few caches on the way. Tftc
Great little walk. Very quiet. Coords had me 7m out but I dug around and found it. TFTC
TFTC! Out for a drive to katanning to pickup some of the highly recommended geocaches.
Very different hide thanks

Day off and I have decided to take a trip to Katanning to pick most the caches in the area with 2 FTFs still up for grabs....I finished with 3 dnfs for the trip which is pretty good considering....It was a beautiful mild day which is prefect for caching....Interesting location which is nice to see...TFTC
Drove around and noticed quite fresh tracks from trotters doing training laps. Made the grab and signed the log. Thanks ba21nga
From Mount Barker we took a drive to Kojonup, Katanning & Cranbrook.
As we enjoy the country side, this was an ideal trip for us.
After a short stroll, the cache was located quickly.
Many thanks for the hunt today, ba21nga.

What a surprise to find an intact, but unused, racetrack so close to the highway. What a beauty. Thanks.
Although the track is apparently not a racetrack anymore, today there was evidence that a horse/horses had done some laps of the course. Found after expanding our search by 4 mts. Thanks ba21nga.
Ahhh 2nd to find will have to do! Thanks for the cache, co ords for us were about 4 Mtrs out
FTF. We stayed in Katanning overnight and I went for morning run around these new caches. I saw them published before I left Perth and thought I would give them a crack. I thought there may have been more movement around here in the early morning but it was completely deserted. It took a while to locate the cache, I was initially searching the wrong spot. widened the search a little and made the find and also found a blank log. Onto the others on the other side of town.
