ConnieandRick and I returned to the car and then headed in the other direction. I spotted the cache tucked away and we signed the log. Thanks.
Out for an adventure with Hibilemon and Little Goat while he had a snooze, he just woke up as we arrivedat the GZ. This one was a goodie! Hibilemon and I both took turns looking for this one and we were absolutely stumped! We spent longer than I care to admit on the hunt and just after I got Little Goat out of the car for a run, HL yelled out that she had found it! Log signed and replaced in it's tricky spot. Thanks for the cache!
Out for a caching adventure with Tangent goat and little goat while little goat had a nap in the car! Thanks for the cache!
I am in the area for a few days after caches and this was on my to do list. The cache in good condition was a quick find. Thank you Wakkatoo.
Day 9 of my interstate trip. Today I left Maryborogh and headed into Ballarat where I met up with some locals at a morning coffee event and helped out at a CITO. After that I found some local Geocaches before I left town and headed towards Bendigo making it as far as Mount Franklin Reserve where I set up camp for the night. I managed to find 21 caches today and only 1 DNF.A cool area to bad I only had time for a few caches.TFTC Wakkatoo
I was at the golfcourse in Creswick for a professional development day for work. 3 hr break in the afternoon. That definitely allows for some time to add a few more Smiley faces in the area. So along with a muggle friend who wanted to see what Geocaching was, I headed out in the mighty Geotucson to do just that. This cache was the seventh for the day. A nice walk below the dam. The cache was found and logged. All good and healthy here. Thanks for placing this cache Wakkatoo.
Chook joined forces with The Tritonz and wozzle68 today for a very full day of caching, fun and laughter. First up was the letterbox trail from Cosgrove Res to St George's Lake, where Chook and Mr Triton were dropped off at the start, to be collected at the end. This cache was conveniently along the way and a nice quick find. All in good condition at GZ. TFTC Wakkatoo
Found it on a lovely spring afternoon, was stopped here for lunch before we began our caching for the afternoon. TFTC
That could have taken awhile to find this cache.. not bad after 6 hours of walking and only 1 coffee.
TFTC found out hiking with the geodogs ?? and Algae ??on a birthday hike. Now for some beer. Cheers
Out with Shumba7 ?? on the geoeuc and geoscooter getting some caches for her birthday.

The first of the day and quite a tricky hide, but as we had not much else to do we persisted and came up with the cache.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

This was our last cache hunt for the day. It took a couple of laps of the object before the well hidden cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Wakkatoo for the cache.
I was checking out my profile stats on Project GC yesterday and started thinking about setting some goals for my caching. Last year I was aiming to complete a 366 day streak, logging caches each day. Unfortunately that was interrupted by an accident which put me out of commission for a few months and therefore the plan was scuttled. I noticed that I wasnt far off getting my first diamond badge, all I needed to find were five letterbox caches. I checked out my map and saw that feathertop had kindly placed a letterbox series just for my convenience, well how could I say no.
I was walking past doing the letterbox series so stopped for this one too. My caching senses must be off today because i came up blank.

Thanks Wakkatoo for placing this cache and contributing to this great game. Nice area , happy that the little car could get down this road lol, like a little , secret spot. Happy trails, Deanside
After the Maker Magic event we thought we really should have a look at the letterboxes that we saw photos of at the event. Deanside and I parked at the western end and did the first cache, then realized we should park a car at either end, so all the rest were done from the western end.
Sorry, I know this is not a letterbox, but it was where we park to start our walk.
I have seen these containers before.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found with the Kennaclan on a beautiful afternoon. Thanks for placing the cache here. It’s absolutely gorgeous
In a rare break in the rainy Easter weather we decided to find half of the new letterbox series. Was walking past this so it would've been rude not to find this too!
A day out to explore this new (to me) area. This, and the nearby multi, were my last stops for the day. Pulled up here and soon had the cache in hand. Log was rather wet and ratty, so left a new one. Signed that, replaced the cache and then headed up for the last one for the day.
Thanks for showing me the area Wakkatto...

Thanks for the cache at this awesome location, had no idea this place was here. Looks like a good place for a picnic, Ran into a few fishing guys which were not having much luck and thats about all really, really quite reserve.
Cache was found pretty quickly, although the log is soaking wet and will need to be replaced asap otherwise its going to get a maintenance flag.
Thanks Wakkatoo

*Cache find # 11160.*
After spending most of the day travelling along the goldfields track, we have now headed into Creswick to tackle a few multi caches.
While on the way to the next multi, we stopped at this one first.
We looked and we looked and then i found what I thought was the camo for the cache and I was correct, it was part of the cache but there was not cache in it.
Well it has to be here somewhere so I had a bit more of a look and then found the actual cache, the log was signed and the cache was put back into the camo.
**Thanks to Wakkatoo for placing this cache.**

Find #4587
Traditional Find #2873**
I headed out with Steve to return to Creswick where we'd made a start on finding caches a fortnight ago. The day was warm and overcast and the Creswick State Forest quite crowded for a forest. Campers at every available campsite along with metal detectorists and gold panners all try their luck.
We had no DNF's but the track was quite a lot rougher than we had anticipated and on a few occasions, elected to park the car and walk. Steve did a brilliant job of piloting his Subaru along the tracks but there were a few places which we beyond the capabilities of any SUV.
**Thank-you to Wakkatoo for placing this geocache**

Caching again getting us to places we'd never find. Lovely spot and geowife quickly out of car and zipping over to gz while I was getting my device and locking the car. Even the clever camo was no match for her as she's seen me make a few of this type, so my contribution was to sign the log. And to think she was a reluctant convert to caching. Thanks for a great experience.
What a lovely little hidden gem. There is nothing more peaceful to do on a day off to go searching through the Bush and other quiet areas looking for hidden wonders like these. As i approached GZ i thought to myself oh god no not another one of these ones and with no hint im sure to be buggered here, but after a short search i had the cache in hand! I know right! Nothing to worry about. As I write this long im sitting on the nearby barrier thinking it is so peaceful and lovely out here and with the sun shining on my back, nothing else could be so relaxing. TFTC CIGC.
Good hide found it reasonably quick but great setting hidden away from the main rd!
Out for a days caching with bogonghazy and Tess to clear up a few in Creswick and the surrounding area.
BH had already found this one but was still surprised where I found it. Thanks Wakkatoo a nice area to explore

With a hot day forecast,
I got an early start and headed down to the dam
A lot of joggers and bike riders had the same idea [:o]
Finding this cache needed a bit of poking around,
before I spied the neat bit of camo

Find #1870 for me. Found at 2:15 pm while on another regular Sunday trip to Ballarat from Bendigo. Today I decided to head back to Creswick to continue where I left off a few weeks ago. This one was quite tricky and took me almost 15 minutes to find even though I had an idea of what to look for. Loved the clever camo! I was also very surprised to find a couple of logs with today's date on them - what are the chances? Well I love meeting up with other geocachers but unfortunately I didn't cross paths with AD25 or tractorboy1954 at all today. Thanks for bringing me here today Wakkatoo and thanks for the cache - favorite point from me!
Found while exploring the area, the heavens had opened and we were wet from our last adventure, so we thought we may as well see if we could add this smile too, took a little while but eventually it was in hand, log signed and replaced, sneaky hide, thanks for the cache and the fun
We, too, could not find this elusive to us cache today even though we did spend some time searching here there and everywhere?
TFTC Wakkatoo that we hope to find in the future?

Attempted to find but couldn’t. There are a lot of branches that have fallen down and CFA tape, so we’re wondering if it may have been buried?
The two geodogs had a great walk from Creswick in a gorgeous autumn day.
Great hide, tftc. Found just as we were giving up!

A Friday of fun, out and about around Creswick, in an effort to replace the green boxes on our geo-map with smiley tokens. Suspect we walked by this one a couple of times, while looking for what we thought was the "obvious spot" Neat little hide now has our name in the log.
Our thanks to Wakkatoo for placing this cache.

Alas. No find. Enjoying the area at a local campsite and thought I'd pop by. May have to come back next visit.
After tackling the nearby St George lake series McLookers, Motndarg and wozzle68 kindly brought me out here to find this one. They knew that I had tried several times before and took pity on me.
As it turned out I walked straight up to it today. I must admit I had a better idea of what I was looking for after the Leap Day Breakfast event earlier in the week.

Today was our 9th geobirthday, so we headed out around Clunes and Creswick to find a few caches and celebrate.
This one took us about half an hour.
We must have picked the cache up a few times.
Went off and did the nearby multi then came back for another crack.
Checked something a bit more covered and came up with the goods.
Thanks for the hide here.

Suscoe was in the Ballarat area today in the very good company of our caching mate Bushfire.
It was a pretty big day with an early start.
Rainy drizzle accompanied us early and then some sunny breaks found us as the day went by.
With mild temperatures we enjoyed the travels.
After having completed the nearby multi we stopped by here and searched for this clever hide.
After some looking, looking, looking the Red Ant had it in his hands.

A winters day and cold showers but the forest is so good on days like this.
Thanks Wakkatoo
This one nearly beat me I was about to run for the car as another shower got me and there it was under my nose.

Staying a few days in Creswick we decided to see how muddy these tracks were after last nights rain.
Thankfully nothing too bad.
