This one was very fun to find and creatively hidden, but everything inside it was completely destroyed by water. I did find a trackable, but the design on it was very faded
GeoKid and I looked for a while but could not find it. Will try again another time
Ha ha. Just after I did my previous post geoKid found it. Good hide but very wet. Will send through a photo
When your desire to sign a log is bigger than the fear of snakes: a lot of things come to mind…. I am glad someone mentioned ‘a track’ as that definitely helped. I couldn’t sign the log, but will send picture. Favourite point for me! Thanks!!
Day 8 and my last day in Bermagui before heading home. Goal today was to complete the SST series (Minus my DNF's), majority left are south around Tathra and Bega plus grab any others along the way.
Took a bit to work out how to access this one, eventually figured out where I needed to go. Tranquil little spot, despite a few mozzies. A quick find.
Tftc!

Thank you, Didn’t know this little track was here! Kids had a blast, my six year old found it.
What a stunning spot! We had no idea this area existed - and with all the work done to the boat ramp and pier we will definitely be back!
Log was wet so couldn’t sign

We were here the other day exploring. I missed seeing there was a cache here, so I'm back today for a nice easy find. TFTC.
This is definitely a beautiful spot, whether just to watch the water, go for a swim, or perhaps put in a kayak. If we come back to Tathra at some point, I would like to bring the kayak and perhaps paddle down to the Bega river and on a bit. Amazing place to explore.
The cache was hidden in a nice spot well away from the launching site. Also a very pleasant place to chill for a bit. I was here on my bicycle, so this little break was welcome as I uncovered the cache and added my name to the log book. I'm just surprised that there have not been more visitors.

Find #527. A slight detour on our drive between Tathra and Merimbula, such a pretty find. TNLNSL. Logbook needs replacement. Thanks for bringing us here!
With BomEm, on a drive down the coast
Beautiful and quite spot.
Non Em made the find.
Thanks for bringing us out this way

This is what I like about caching. We would not have come down here otherwise. A really lovely spot. Beat Lpud to the hide again haha. TFTC favourite from me
Sunshine and an opportunity to go caching, what a great combination. After parking the caravan at the Bega showground (where we will be for a few days) we were out finding caches. Got this one. Scenery beautiful. Our thanks to dghoffy for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Out and about geocaching while in Kalaru. Took the car down to nearby GZ. . Search took much longer . However eventually found. Log signed and cache replaced. TFTC
Enjoyed my day Caching with Richmond Lad. Love Kalaru. Took a few minutes to find. TFTC
Third day of my far south coast road trip. A start in Eden today with some numbers in the VB series before slowly working my way north again. Again good quality caches all day, thanks for that.

I'm an Aussie living in Japan. Today I"m back visiting and staying with family in the area, My Granny used to live in Kalaru and I always enjoyed bushwalking around the area. Today I went bushwalking in the area for the first time in about 30 years so it was very enjoyable to do it. This time with the extra joys of geocaching. I went for a 3 hour walk and this was part of my walk but I couldn't find it. With only with paper maps and no phone or GPS, It was hard to know where to search. And muggles kept on coming so I moved on with no smiley.
Bit of a scramble and search but we are there TFTC
Spending a glorious weekend down the Sapphire Coast as part of the Canberra Invasion. Whilst the invasion meant the chance to catch up with many cachers at events and at different spots (and a delightful excuse to celebrate Lovetherabbitohs 18th birthday), I spent most of the weekend on the hunt with the CGI crew: Fitzy_1965, DarzeeDi, Minniek , K8TYBEE , GLISS!, GSC2000 Lovetherabbitohs, B0tmun, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1. Thanks so much for keeping all the caches alive and making this weekend a possibility! Tftc

Out and about with nibletricecakes and the Goulburn/Canberra crew. Scouting the coastline for treasures... my first big caching weekend! TFTC
Headed to Wallaga Lake for a bit of an invasion by people from Canberra & Goulburn. A group of us convoyed for most of the long weekend. The group known as CGI (Canberra Goulburn Invasion) consisted of fitzy_1965, darzee di, nibletricecakes, k8tybee, GLISS!, GSC2000 and my geokids Lovetherabbitohs, b0tmun, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1.
Day 3 now all packed up and ready to head home but not before finishing the SST series and any others along the way. All caches were quickly found. We certainly loved the variety.

This weekend a few of us from Canberra and Goulburn decided to travel down to Bermagui and do the SST series and some of the other traditionals, camping at Wallaga Lake Big4.
Today was day 3, final day of our adventure and what a great adventure it was, loved the company, lots of laughs and stories making it a successful fun long weekend. We signed logs as team CGI (canberra Goulburn invasion) and we all enjoyed ourselves, we all had a great day and all said how much a fantastic series it was. Tftc dghoffy

Followed a geo trail into the GZ looked around for a likely hide and found the cache. The cache found with water in it and a very damp log book. I was able to sign it though. TFTC.
Accurate coordinates and a common style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks dghoffy for the cache.
No tinnies or muggles down here today so managed an uninterrupted search which proved fruitful. TFTC dghoffy
Found with nissan 65. Heading south for a few days caching. Thankyou so much for the cache
After returning from travel a week ago I find my feet still itchy, so here I am driving, caching 3 hours or so from home. Actually a daytime drive turned into a weekend .
200m from gz I came across 2 lads, a Ute and a huge downed tree. It took a fair bit of team work but the 3 of us finally moved it aside. Like thin I arrived went hmmm. And left. They were looking for waves it seems as had bogey boards and surf boards in the back.
Cache found quickly and in good condition

Found on my around the SST. A great series to do. Enjoyed the different kind of hides. With the CO. Grabbed this while doing a maintenance check on caches that may have gone due to the recent bush fires.
This was well hidden. It has been the most adventurous cache for us to find so far because of the bushwalk to find it. Overall very enjoyable
Saw this one and at first we weren’t sure how to reach it, so we’re going to give it a miss. The roads (which didn’t show up on the geocaching app) did show up on the cars GPS. And thankfully they did - had a great lunch by the shore before venturing to find the cache. A Fourier point for bringing up to this awesome spot! Tftc
Great spot - I'm definitely coming back here with the Kayak before we leave town to chase a couple of flathead or bream! TFTC.
Wow, what an amazing spot!!
I'm in Tathra for the week and figured I should grab at least one cache, this is the lucky one. It's truly beautiful down here with the mist in the trees, a couple of Ray's of late afternoon sun and lots of fish jumping for their dinner.
An amazing spot, and I only discovered it due to your cache, so, TFTC

An unintended cache. Went for a drive to Bega from Tathra and decided to check out the lake. A nice spot and an easy find.
Had no idea this place existed. Added it to our list of places to bring our kayaks. Kutgw
I loved the name of this place, cracked me up.
I followed the trail and found it,

Cool hide! Took some time.
First visit to Australia, visiting our oldest daughter who lives in St Ives, Sydney. What a wonderful country! We are having the most beautiful weather. Reminds us of South Africa, our homeland.
Such a beautiful area.
Thanks for the adventure and the totally creative epically setup well organised.
Due to poor mobile reception we had to log most caches afterwards which involves some administration.
A picture is worth a thousand words - confucius
Greetings from South Africa.

Greetings from South Africa.
This was such a busy lake on a gorgeous Saturday morning at about 8:30am!
It is so rural and hidden, yet it must be a popular spot for the locals as there were 3 cars down by the lake with some guys setting up their canoes.
We decided to park my very old car with low ground clearance at the top and walk down however as the track looked a little bumpy. 2WD could still make it however, we just chose not too as it was a lovely day for a walk.
The cache was in an unexpected location, deep into the bush!
It could of been a really hard find because the bush was so dense, but luckily for us it was in the #1 most obvious spot withing 5m of GZ.
What an amazing location! Thanks for this cache! Someone needs to bring a canoe and explore the lake and add another cache over the other side!

Found by Mary & David at 1200. The GeoPrado enjoyed the rough track. Glad we didn't run into any snakes here either. As it was, the mozzies threatened to carry M off. The name is probably not PC there days. Found after a minute or two. Our thanks to dghoffy.
Down from Canberra as I was invited by ZimbaW and geospouse to spend an awesome weekend of camping on their amazing slice of paradise...with some caching thrown in for good measure!
After making the finds on the nearby BFH series, we swung by this one to make the find as well. Parked the Jeep up top then made our way down to GZ where it was a quick and easy find for us
Thanks for the hide, dghoffy

In the company of SpecimenX (and the Ridgeo-pup) on a weekend geo-mission to the South Coast. A meander down a pretty path got us to GZ. SPX made the find while I was distracted by lesser hiding spots. Thanks for the cache, dghoffy
