A nice easy find here, exactly as described, yay. At least I can have one find in Whangarei on this trip! Grabbed and re-hidden during breaks in the traffic this morning. TFTC!!!
From the Bay of Island we drove to Kawakawa. Then we went to Tutukaka and Whangarei via the Touristik Drive. On the way we had very nice views and great beaches. On the coast we could make a very nice hike and some cache log. The hints were helpful and the coordinates mostly good.
Thanks to the owner for the nice caches.

Today we left Mangawhai heading towards Whangarei.
After checking into our accommodation, lunch & a rest we decided to find some caches closer to the city area.
Thanks for placing this cache MiniMaxy
Found with staxcache on the way back to kerikeri from a shopping trip. TFtc
Had a great day out caching today, with the aim to collect as many TBs as possible to take overseas on tuesday. The aim was also to get ever so slightly closer to the 500 caches found mark.
Was able to park beside it, reach out and sign it.

Taking the opportunity to grab some caches during my week long visit up here. Pulled over for this one whilst heading north and the coords had it on that side of the road, but there was only one spot it could really be. Quick grab once I sorted that out. TFTC
Nice quick grab late at night so not many people around. Was able to spot it as we pulled up. Tftc
Nice one! another good find on an infrequent, but very enjoyable trip this far north.

Spent the morning finding a few caches around Onerahi then headed to Kamo for another go at this wherigo which we failed to find the other day. We were keen to keep as much as possible in the shade on another warm and muggy Northland day
Good to get another easy drive by as we head back to home base. TFTC.

Out for a wee walk on our final night in Whangarei and discovered this one along the way. TFTC
I'm back up in my home town of Whangarei for the holiday period and today joined up with fellow Auckland cacher yorkshirekiwi83 and local caching friends tikitour for a hot summers day of caching around the city. The logs were either signed with our caching names or some combination of the letters T,V & Y for our caching names - depending on who had previously found the caches. This was a quick park and grab as we headed to Mair Park, although it was on the opposite side of the road from us. TFTC!

Decided to finish the year and see in the new year in Whangarei, Vistra and tikitour decided to join me and we spent the time grabbing caches around the region, in some cases it was just one that needed to sign in others it was all three of us, signed as TYV (or combination of those letters) or VY when it was more than 1 of us.
Parked opposite and took life into my hands crossing the road, quickly had the cache in hand and signed though. TFTC

I was in Whangarei with ten students and a muggle teacher from St John’s College in Hamilton as part of their camp week. Over four days and three nights we visited Orewa, Whangaparoa, Waiwera, Whangarei, Paihia, Waitangi and Russel. The boys literally ran from Geocache to Geocache trying to beat each other to the find. By the second to last day they had all at least found one cache each. They all seemed to enjoy the experience and hopefully will decide to keep Geocaching as a consequence. We found a great variety of caches in some amazing spots. A huge thanks to all the CO’s for placing and maintaining all the caches we found.
Having returned from a big trip north the boys were pretty tired but I was still keen to grab some more caches so I went for a late night stroll. I had to "tie my shoes" while I waited for a jogger to pass before I could pick up this cache as I walked toward town.

I didn't find this and I do wonder if it is still there. I hunted the normal places a cache would be hidden at such a specific spot. According to the hint. Under. And on sides. But no find today.
Down in Whangarei today with the kids visiting parks and playgrounds. I'd told them I wanted to grab a few caches today as well and was passing by. Had just been to get Riser's nearby cache for my 10+ souvenir. My daughter had forgotten this cache type but for my son and I it was an easy find. Thanks for the cache
Finally some time Ro grab this while going past on this beaut chilly dewy morning... TFTC
Just keep looking and the numbers are quite visible! Easy find with my head torch upon me.
A nice quick stop and grab on a Sunday. Drive past here at least 5 times a week. Has been on the to do list for a long time and have always assumed I knew what to look for and I was right! Love these! TFTC
A Waitangi weekend road trip to collect a few puzzle series of caches that we have solved over the last month or so - plus any other caches that we can find on the way!
A find that took us longer than it should have! We must have been blind - though it was at night!

Good One! Had us searching for a bit before I spotted it. Still no idea what the hint is about though.
Stopped a couple of times to look for this one, no luck for us.
Maybe it has gone missing could the CO check it.

Quickly spotted. No problems recovering, signing and returning the cache.

Easy find walking back to the campground. Much preferred the walk down on the other side of the river!
Went walking into town for dinner from the campsite. Had to cross this busy street 3 times... Vut the cache was in hand quickly. Love the hide.

Found as part of my Post Mega northen road trip. Really enjoyed a part of the country I hadn't seen before. Thanks to all those who have placed cacahes to encourage us southerners to come your way!
First time I saw this camo, really nice place to hide and an easy grab if you know what you are looking for.
