Not quite sure whether this cache gets any attention. Managed to scribble something in what used to be the logbook and is now home to some insects. Considering that the needs maintenance note is pretty old and we do not have a replacement container with us this cache might need to be archived. Thanks for the find? Well, not quite.
Lgobook bearly useable and no reaction to the needs maintenance note back in March.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Found this on our after dinner walk. As stated in previous logs logbook in open,damp and partly eaten
Found pretty easy. But just a log book. That was kinda destroyed and wet. No container to be found with it. Might want to get replaced when possible. Tftc though!

Log book is wet. The seal on the box is not keeping out the water. Managed to write in the log book. Thanks
Cold wet and windy day but we found it. The book is wet and mouldy. Probably needs replacing.

CheersFirst for the day, used it as a pointer to figure out where we were going to take our morning walk, good thing we came here because it also showed us the started of a nice little bush walk back to town, way better then walking on the road. log quite damp and black mould in residence but still able to sign it

Michaelteacher had found this last year around April. Came by on our road trip to pick this up and reduce the difference in out number of finds Feels weird signing the log without writing both our names! Tftc!

Day 3 of geocaching in the area. Best deal with those unfound in Ohakune. This was one of them.
We did a drive up on this one, and a straightforward find once at GZ.
Cache in order - although as other logs report it is pretty damp (it could do with a CO visit and some maintenance), log signed, cache safely re-hidden, just as found.

A quick find for our next one. Sadly everything in the cache is completely saturated. Attempted to write in log book. Definitely keen to one day walk from here, back to the carrot. TFTC
I found this cache together with my partner, Pityulino, during our holiday in New Zealand. The next stop on our trip is Ohakune, therefor we looked for geocaches in this area. After a nice day on the Whanganui river, we returned to Ohakune, stopped at the Carrot Park and did the nice little walk to this cache and back. Our find was a nice closure of the day. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Hungary!
p.s. Unfortunately there was water in the box and the logbook was wet. We emptied the water from the box, but the logbook is still soaked.

Had an awesome sunny day on the slopes yesterday. Today enjoying the sunshine in ohakune and the walk to the carrot. Thanks for the recommendation for a walk to the carrot.

I was up for the weekend visiting my parents and the weather turned out better than expected so I jumped on my bike and cruised around Ohakune and the junction to pick up a few caches.
I grabbed this one after grabbing a few on the old coach road. Made a quick find. No one else around today.

The day started off cloudy, so I decided not to visit the National Park today. I did plan to rent a mountain bike this afternoon, and after I took it with me, I cycled to this cache, that was quickly found. Thanks for hiding and showing!

Staying at the nearby campground, this cache was a "must-to-do" for BenniHamburg and me. It was a quick find. TFTC
Staying in Ohakune for the night prior to completing the Tongiraro Crossing...a chance to stretch my legs and go for a walk around town to grab some caches. Soon found, signed and returned TFTC

Another quick find in Ohakune on by way to the National Park area for two days caching. Thanks for the cache.
Time to find the remaining caches in Ohakune before heading out later today. With promise of cafe coffee I managed to round up a few helpers although a few were walking very slowly after yesterday's Goat run. Nice walking the walkways but no sign of trackable in this cache.
After spending Labour Weekend in Turangi for the Mega Event, I then spent a few days in Ohakune with family. Today I decided to take my mountain bike up the Old Coach Road to Horopito and locate the caches along there. After leaving our cottage by bike, I rode around town picking up a few caches along the way. A quick find here, I didn't even have to get off my bike. TFTC!
We headed out this morning after the Adventurefest Event to do a clockwise circumnavigation of the mountains and collect the rest of the Lab caches, and a few trads along the way. A quick park and grab at this cache. Thanks.
Heading home from Mega in Turangi and thought I come via Ohakune, made a quick and easy find here and proceeded down the street, as the road got narrower and turned to gravel realised id made an error and was getting myself lost, quick u-turn and a backtrack and on my way for further geocache finding adventures. TFTC.

Etherlord, Zara and I are at last on our way to the Mega! And I am at last logging this find! Took us three days to get from Palmerston North to Turangi, and another three days to get back - this cache being one of the many reasons.
Spent the night in Ohakune, and after a breakfast that included eclairs it's back to work again. I see why you put a cache here. The sign does seem a little redundant! What other way would I go?

A quick easy find as we arrived in Ohakune. But where is Otakune? Perhaps at the original published coordinates? TFTC
