Boot and Bee both had caches downloaded offline- each description and hint was different!! This left us scratching our heads as its never happened before. Nevertheless we looked all around GZ using both descriptions and hints but still came up empty handed. There have been signs here previously- could it have been there?! Photo of GZ. *The generic bit for this trip*We are on our way north for warmer weather. From Victoria to Cooktown, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
I am in Roma to visit my sister for the week-end and to do some geocaching together. We started our (very early) morning up at Carnarvon Duffer and then headed South to Roma finding caches along the way ... and hiding 1 or 2 as well. The old cache was, again, done in by the weather ... so we moved it a little. Thanks for the cache.
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT. TFTC. I feel a dejavu from this one. Quick find today.
Eumurin Injune Hwy Rest Stop was transferred from jpgordo to user doscrapbooking
I was here before work and found the logbook on the ground and only 1/2 the container. Came back after work with a replacement container. So it's not a bison tube any more.
A quick park and grab on the way to Roma. The container is a micro not small. TFTC
33,557. Found during our Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure - a 33 day epic tour of Northern NSW and Outback Queensland finding many caches, attending great events and catching up with awesome Cachers along the way.Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure Day 28. Today was a pretty long day. Firstly we did our best to clean out Emerald, then we visited Lake Maraboon, then continued south picking up caches (including the marvellous golden oldie Minerva) until we arrived into Roma. This was the next one on the list. Quickly found once at GZ. Signed as F65 and A33 as required. Replaced the cache as found, then we continued on our journey. Thanks to all the COs who put out these caches !!
We found the foundations of a former building with stairs but there is nothing else of interest at GZ
Enjoying a road trip to Carnarvon with Beardman75, Davinells & Karicka…
Our one and only DNF… and at the time of logging, there’s been no activity here since October last year…
Despite a forensic examination of the site, and what remains of the structure, no cache was located…
This may need a CO visit…

Thanks for the cache. A stop through to the Canarvron gorge.
Found the cache easily with the clue, then decided to use the facilities, though wish I'd looked around more and used the other ones! A quick and easy roadside cache, tftc.
We are on a 2 month trip from Portland via the Mundi Mundi Bash to a wedding in Brisbane and then out west for QOGM in Charleville.
Today we are travelling from Roma to Carnarvon Gorge - a spot everyone says we have to visit. At the prices they charge for accommodation they better be right.
Nice to have a couple of stops along the way.
Thanks for contributing to the fun jpgordo

I’m off on my annual 6 week adventure and it is back to Outback Queensland to finish off what I started last time but got interrupted along the way.
It is nice and quiet on the roads this morning and I’m now in NSW and the weather can only get better to what Melbourne is at the moment.
It was time to leave Muckadilla and head to my next destination which is Injune.
Had to dry out and get rid of some of the mud after last nights heavy rain over night.
I left 2 very deep wheel ruts trying to get out.
So after a nice morning in Roma and as I was leaving town the rain decided to come again.
If anybody was watching me they must think ge wiz this guy has to stop at a lot of rest stops on his travels.
In one out between showers for this one.
Thanks jpgordo TFTFC

I love geocaches that are placed conveniently.
Found by me whilst Crustyvarmint was giving Pilot the geodog in training some exercise on the long journey from Roma to Cunnamulla

Quick park and grab with tassie expat. Accurate coords and in good condition. Thanks for placing it.
A quick find with frmen1 parking the car to provide me with cover from the semis down the other end. Again, another spot with good off road parking. TFTC
After the long drive yesterday we are only going as far as Emerald today - collecting a few caches along the way as well as some ALs. Thanks to all the CO's for your hides.
Whiffy here today!
……
It’s Mega time once again!! Woo hoo!! Love these epic road trips. After an amazing drive up Canberra - Narromine - Cunnamulla - Blackall - Winton - Charters Towers - Townsville. We had a blast at the main event. Now it is time for the trip home - with the plan being chances to explore Bowen, Rockhampton, Emerald, Roma, Lightning Ridge and Dubbo. Will see if the April rains and flooding detour us! Thanks to everyone in the region for the top quality caching. Appreciate your efforts.

Not a great spot for a cache. Ick. But didn't mean I drove past it. Lol. thanks anyway.
Heading north from Roma, I stopped at this rest area for a break. There was a cache here to be found. It was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Stopping in Roma for a couple of nights and decided to clear up a few caches in the area. One of my least favourite buildings to visit, thankfully I didn't have to this time. TFTC jpgordo
Thanks to good coords and a helpful hint we walked straight up to this one.
On the road again today, continuing the long drive back to our home in Gippsland, we’ll over 1500 kms from here. A free over night stop at the Virgin Rocks and then this morning we are back on the road, heading to Roma. Very pleased to be able to stop and grab a few caches on our way. We appreciate the efforts of all the local CO’s in placing and mai tai ing theses caches. A sterling effort, especially for those that are so far from any towns. Thank you, without your efforts we would have nothing to find.

A long road trip to Emerald from Brisbane for 2 little turmoils, but they did really well. We were here for the geoart and anything else that we found along the way from Brisbane to Gladstone to Emerald, to Chinchilla and home. This was day 7 of lengthy days caching and driving. This cache was found on our trip from Emerald to Roma. Hint helped us be quick.
At long last we have been able to come back to Roma and get out on the road to Emerald gathering the caches along the way. The last time we were here the roads were all closed. Nice quick find except for the mud puddle Geohubby stepped in, TFTC
We stopped for a short break here, I checked the app and would you believe it? There was a cache here! It was further up near the shelter than where we stopped initially. It was a quick, easy find so we could get on the road quickly again. Contents were in good condition.
Another quick find travelling from Charters Towers to Miles, thanks again jpgordo.
Found with my Muggle Mum who is getting used to these geocaching adventures I take her on. It’s a bit dry dry, hopefully the rain will
come soon. TFTC Have a happy new year!!!

Christmas Trip 2020 was a blast! 2 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs towing a camper trailer visiting lots of places in the Queensland Outback. Started Cooroy, staying in Dalby, Nindigully Pub, Charlotte Plains Station, Charleville, Roma, Emerald, Rockhampton and then Yandaran for Christmas before heading home. 4600 kilometers in two and a half weeks with lots of caches in between (well as many as I was allowed to).
All caches were found with ease and in good condition unless stated otherwise, thank you to all the cache owners for placing these caches, especially the ones in remote areas that were great to stop, stretch the legs, and get another smiley.
Thanks for the cache **jpgordo**

And a quick cache find to boot
But please don't apologise for untidy travellers !! [:o]

Heading West to escape some of the COVID craziness going on in Brisbane at the moment. An early start was made to fit in a long day of driving to Emerald via Roma, with plenty of caching along the way. Quick find thanks to the hint, no need to use the facilities though.

Cairns trip 2019. Day 3. I drove from Dirranbandi to north of Injune via Surat & Roma. A quiet day on the road, but plenty of caches along the way. I was concerned the area would be 'camped out', but I had the place to myself and had no problems getting the cache today.
Thanks.

Submitted via Garmin Live Geocaching. Found on our way from Injune to Mitchell. It was a nice easy spot to pull the van off the road, and an easy find thanks to the great hint. Thanks jpgordo for placing this and all the other caches in the Roma area, we really appreciate it. Cheers from Bindair Dundat and Princess Madelyn.
After a fun weekend away at Carnarvon Gorge with Lady membsec, wombles, 1MinnieMoo and mnance101 it was time to head for home.
Of course we made sure to stop and create a few smileys on our travels.

Continuing the homebound journey, our next stop was here. NyssaFlutterby found it just after a truck pulled out, while I was trying to straighten out some confusion, with our other party from the weekend (that we said farewell to in the wee hours), in regards to another cache.
NB: Logbook on most smalls and micros this weekend signed as "QQ" for the group of us to save space.
Thanks for the cache jpgordo.

After a long weekend at Canarvon Gorge, time for Nyssaflutterby, 1Minniemoo, Membsec, Mnance1 and I to head home, though of course we won't take the shortest route!
A few stops to make along the way.....
Some small log sheets/books signed as "QQ" for our group to save space.

Our trip to Carnarvon Gorge has come to an end so with sadness and in convoy with Nyssaflutterby, 1MinnieMoo, Wombles&Co and mnance101 we slowly head back to our homes! This was our fourth cache heading back home picking up the ones we missed heading out. We signed the log with QQ to save time and space. Nice placement of the cache which was found quickly.

Out for a geoadventure trip to Carnarvon Gorge for International Earthcache Day with Slow Puncture doing the navigation duties during the road trip the deal was I do the driving they do the finding. Well most of the time there was the odd occasion where my finding skills were called upon.
Today's mission was clean up Roma and head to Carnarvon. Great trip, great company with Mr & Mrs SP and thanks to all the CO’s for hiding caches along our route.
