G'day, my name is Mary from Cairns, Queensland, Australia. I am on a world trip with my son Steve. I visited your cache ZimDownUnder GC4GF11 today 1 June 2024, is number 6821 for us. Thank you for placing and maintaing it for us.
What a magical spot, thanks for bringing us here, and the cache is still okay, even a year after the last find, great. We walked from the scrub thunder box following the path in the park and probably missed the turnoff into the bush. But we walked the dragons back all the way to the end, and climbed down its side later. At the cache location we did a little Citi, someone seemed to have had a fire and party out here, we ended up with a whole shopping bag full of rubbish, what a shame. Nevertheless a great spot that deserves a FP from us.

I went on a week long trip to Cairns to escape the Canberra region and do a little diving and some exploration with caching to keep me busy. The warm weather was refreshing after the Canberra winter. As usual after flying up there was lots of walking but it was great to be out. Day 10. This was my last day around Cairns and I went South for a bit of caching, even a few short walks.
Wow, this one was dramatic. I looked off the main path a few times to see a precipitous drop off. I went far enough past to find a safe way down and made it to the cache ok. Then, I decided to try for a shorter way back and found the dragons back. Very impressive. I walked right past the entrance without seeing on the way to the cache.
Thanks for the cache ZimDownUnder

Wow what a magical spot. If it wasn't the coolest temperature of the year of be tempted to jump in for a dip. Geomutt couldn't help herself and got in

We were fortunate to have done the original 'Back Along the Dragons Back' and we were able to remember how we had accessed that one, the note in the cache description confirmed what we already knew. The cache is in good condition. SL TFTC
Today we left Cairns and headed back to Atherton to find the caches that we had not done since our last visit and this was one of them. At GZ we made a quick find. This was an excellent place to visit, but for the bats near night fall, eek! and adding to our favourites.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

A great 'jungle' walk along the narrow dragon's back. Even had flying foxes to add to the atmosphere. And a nice hide. A favourite from me. TFTC ZimDownUnder.
Found it!! Most beautiful hidden location, did get a little scared of the bats but was amazing
Up from Townsville for the day visiting family and managed to wrangle some time to locate a cache or two.
I lived in the area for 9 years and never knew this spot existed. Thanks for bringing me here. Due to the dense tree cover, the GPS signal bounced around a fair bit. Persistence paid off in the end and I soon had the cache in hand.
Log signed. The cache container and contents were found to be in excellent condition.
Finding this cache has now given me a total find count of 1411.

It was a fun track, except for all the bugs and multiple falls off the high track.
Couldn't find it this time around. We probably walked by it many times. Beautiful place, we'll be back.
Quick find today while out & about with geomate R_R. The swimming hole is more like a sewage pit. Thanks for the smiley!
The most awesome cache I have done in Cairns area yet! This spot is amazing and the fact that it is so well hidden right in the middle if suburbia! We were staying at friends only 500 metres and they didnt belive us when we said what we we going looking for.. we pass the knight and headed down the track until we found the dragons back, that was so cool and it got better! Thanks heaps and definately a fav point from me
Loved this spot plan to head back have a camp/swim and bring food make a real sesh of it, such a good hidden away spot, being bug spray and togs you will want to have a swim after this one a fave from me if I could
Well, this location is really outstanding. Maybe I went from the wrong side facing vertical abysses that kept me from finding the treasure. Unfortunately, I could not just follow the myriads of bats infesting the area. Thus, I had to look for a more convenient way. In the end I really found it and got it. A place really worth to host a cache.
Thank you for that.

We seem to have approached this from the wrong entrance off the path and went along another ridge. After traversing through the creek we got to where we needed to be. Found the cache, signed log and dropped a very special TB that we picked up in Melbourne. Somehow got lost on our way out :/ we enjoy these types of caches that involve a little adventure. For that it gets a favourite.
I was due another trip to Cairns. I set about scouring the map for unfound icons. What's this caper? I thought I had cleaned up that area.
Upon reading the description, all became clear! I am happy to see this cache re-enabled But now it sports a new GC code. It would be plain rude not to pay homage again and award a favourite point.
I made my way into the familiar area. Thankfully it was abandoned - just me and the bats / flying foxes / whatever. I made my way carefully to GZ and found the prize instantly. Who'd have thought I would've found it so quick? It was in good condition. I signed my name... again and re-hid it well.
Great job on getting this one going again, ZimDownUnder. Happy to see I inspired the cache to be resurrected. TFTC

Parked at the suggested spot and easily found the concrete path to initially follow. Did have some concerns that maybe we were heading in the wrong direction till we spotted the wooden bench seat. Plenty of flying foxes arguing in the tree tops on the way to the GZ. A relatively short walk with a few technical bits that you have to be a little more careful with.
We arrived at the GZ and quickly located the cache.
Signed the log, admired the trinkets, but ended up taking nothing.
A nice walk in an area that we have never visited before. Many thanks for reviving this cache ZimDownUnder.

Found after a hard week at work. I had a FTF on the original cache when it was called 'Along the Dragons Back', many years ago it seems. Again I managed to trip and slide down the steep embankments that lead to this really secluded place in the middle of suburbia. I also thought the flying fox colony that lives overhead added to a surreal atmosphere, with the flapping of wings and the cries through the trees. Found the cache very quickly and signed the log. Cache is full of trinkets and things. Left them for the following cachers. Thanks for placing this cache here, it brought back some interesting memories....
