Logs
As another cacher logged, I located the cache after giving up my search and returning to my car. Has to have been at least 15 meters away from where my GPS was suggesting I should look; TFTC
Found it after a little while. There's a dead deer in the ditch when we just arrived, pretty gross but added to the experience We're not too far away from Halloween after all Hint, go up the hill, follow the fence to the right, then back down the hill a little while on (about 10m along fence turn downhill) White bucket by the bottom of the broken tree.
Yay! TFTC! Came all the way from Vancouver, BC to find this one... totally worth the trip! Thanks for being part of the adventure
I overshot this on the way down due to a cyclist so found on my way back up. This time the cyclist was walking down the road - must've been looking for something off the bike because I saw it a bit further away in two bits. Hope his year improves! TFTC #18,771
Found this one by accident. I went to GZ as indicated by the little arrow. Looked around for some time but came up empty. Was prepared to log a DNF. Came down a different direction than I went up and there it was! Easy spot. Thanks for the hide. I wonder where that Girl Scout TB is now?
Out enjoying a nice day and on a lovely drive to find some caches. Stopped here and searched for 30mins. Climbed bank up to fence and everything in between to the road. No luck for us here.
Took me a few moments to find as the GPS on my phone took a while to settle. The cache had actually rolled down into the ditch beside the road so I placed it up on the bank in a place where hopefully it won’t fall down the bank again
Geocaching around Christchurch with woolwood9.
Weather has taken a turn for the worse - lots of rain now and everything wet!
We soon had the container found. SL: **tm/ww NZ**
*Thanks for putting this out for us to visit, we enjoyed the drive / walk around!*
Had a DNF on this cache in 2016.

Quick find. Useful to have parking petty much at GZ. I never like walking along the road, say 200m, from where I can park safely.
After a great day kayaking over to quail island with rayzr it was time to head home via the windy roads great time to park and grab a few when someone else is driving ..
Cache found a good 28m away from where my phone said it should be...but as the co says ...coverage is bad in this spot..cache all good..last for the day time to head home...tftc

The parking area looks like an unlikely but popular spot for a picnic as there are several empty bottles and fast-food wrappers on the ground. The cache is away from this area though, and indeed easy to spot - more up than down.
We followed the instructions, scrambled up and soon spotted the large white bucket. TFTC!
A bit of a scramble up the bank but worth the effort. The cache has another feature to it for now.
Cache has crept a wee bit and is now on top of the bank, with pine cones for company.
Loved antnichs log, so it's a shame the "vandals took the handles" and it's now ground level! Tftc
Had a great day out and about caching in Canterbury, many thanks to all the cache placer's.Thanks Bitsprayer
Took a little while to locate and eventually spotted on the ground. As handle was broken unable to replace above GL so now at GL. TFTC
We didn't read the description until later. We found the cache as some 31 m out, like you say because of the trees. We parked the car and found the cache close by after we had walked down the road which is not necessary or recommended. A nice big box and log to sign. I picked up a glass booze bottle from the side out the road. Luckily unbroken.
Passing by and stopped to look for this one. Nice quick find. Have never seen a double snaplock bag like that before. Gathered a few nice pinecones as well. Thanks for the cache.#3885
Spent the day over on the harbour, and always good to have a cache find or two. TFTC
Seems like the tree is NW rather than NE? Anyway, quick once I realised what tree I needed to head for. Tftc
Found the geocoin in here, was still showing as in ‘Two for the show’. Grabbed it to move it on.
There should be a TB in here that Tandem4 dropped off. "Found it at GC7VYX5 and dropped off at GC4GQ87" GeoKid Micro - Girl Geocoin. It hasn't been logged as dropped off, but wasn't in GC7VYX5 yesterday.
Yep once you find the right spot it’s an easy find but it took a bit of scouting around first! Pretty toadstools nearby. TFTC
Cool wee spot. Put in a ceramic pug unicorn and 6 Pokemon cards. Do with them what you will.
Can’t seem to be the finder today - Ant is on a roll. Wasn’t sure how the hint and coordinates helped - in the end he stood up and banged his head on the cache! TFTC
Approached this from completely the wrong direction, so making our task much harder than it should have been! No TB inside either which was a shame. Nice cache though. Tftc
I was glad to have Aoraki along as he made short work of finding this one. Found with AorakiSheep
Out on a caching adventure with daughter and granddaughter to have some fun! The youngest one did not like looking back and having limited involvement in the roadside finds, so we trying to mix it up a bit. TFTC!!!

I was keen to go find some caches, so was mum, but hubby had ditched me to go off attempt to go hunting, and I needed my fix!! So we took the baby with anyways - but it was quite tough to go caching like this!! She hates the car seat! Argh!!! Luckily she slept the first bit, but in the end we had to find caches that were not roadside to get the baby out of the car, so the find count wasn't super great today! But it was something!!
We've been here at least once before looking... with no luck. But I think that's as we were in the wrong parking place! Once in the right parking place, and made the entry from there, the cache was easy - but took a while to do that!!
TFTC!!

Like the cache page says, an easy find when you are in the right position! We were halfway up this road on our way back to Christchurch.
+ a marble, - nothing.
+ a marble, - nothing.
After looking at locations finally found it. I think it is more obvious coming down rather than going up
DNF
Went halfway up, then halfway down, all around the slope, checked multiple pine trees but couldn't spot the bucket. I don't know, I don't know.

I had a great time finding caches along the summit road today! The whole area was very quiet and the views were great. TFTC!
Found after a false start. As mentioned in previous logs clues in the description. The GPS are way, way out and don't even reflect the car park. TFTC!!!
drive in sunday today. found the cache in good condition. thanks for the box, rolofant
A fabulous day to go caching with The Burnsy. We decided to drive around Summit Road and pick up a few caches. Burnsy had an injured foot and I had an injured neck so we made a pretty good pair. Our tactic for the day was to stick to caches closest to the road, so as not to strain ourselves.
We both ambled up to grab the cache, luckily we didn't have to go far. We quickly signed the log and headed off. Tftc.

#12762. In our case we were halfway down. Quick find based more on the info in the cache description rather than the coords. TFTC.
The puzzles in the D/T series with solutions on the other side of the harbour have been beckoning us for a while and today, with the mild weather forecast, seemed an ideal opportunity to turn as many as possible into smiles.
We were a bit worried about whether we'd find this cache, considering the last few logs, but StreetWalker laid his hands on it in the first place he looked (which was close to where we parked but a wee way from the published co-ords) . No sign of the listed TB in the cache. Nice to find a good sized cache. TFTC.

First thing in the morning and dark when we got to this one, but still amazed we couldn't spot this 3ltr container!
On a mission so we didn't spend more than a couple of minutes searching for any one today.
Well, this was a clamber on a very hot day! Found with Wurzel1947. Loved the hide! TFTC
Over this way exploring and caching. Despite the coords being quite a distance out, I walked into the cache after following the obvious geotrail. TNLNSL. Thanks for the placement
If we had taken the correct track in the first place we would have banged our head on the sizable cache. Pine needles are so slippery! Tftc
On Tour together with Sabe73 as Team "TheBros" around South Island to visit some nice spots.
We also visited this location and could find the box almost quickly.
Thank you for showing us this place and of course for the Cache.

We were Halfway Down from the heights of Gebbies Pass when we pulled over near the GZ of this cache. Headed up the slope and located the cache after checking out a few possibilities. Thanks.
We felt like the grand old duke of York running up and down, but no luck with the cache today

Stopped here on our way down into Diamond Harbour to collect some D/T puzzles. Searched around several possible locations as suggested by the GPS before reading the hint and seeing the size after which we found the cache without too much bother. We were about 30m out according to our GPS.

This weekend Mrs Dragon and I took a longer break than normal as a chance to catch up with a few friends and collect the odd cache or two all on a grabaseat deal from home.
Thankfully the weather stayed most excellent throughout and we managed to see many of the sights that we had not visited previousley.
Travelling back from Akaroa for lunch and collecting a few caches along the way via Diamond Harbour (as had never been this way before). Winding over the pass on a quiet afternoons drive was very nice
So again thank you for the FUN of the hunt

With the solving part of the cache out of the way, it was time for Karma Reprint and I to hit the roads and tracks and pick up a few of these D/T caches. It's be rude nto to stop and get this one while out caching with the owner himself. I remember these buckets, from the Dunners Mega I reckon. Cheers
Easy find when you read the cache page properly, I didn't! Wasted too much time trying with my GPSr first, oops!

My caching tour in new zealand has been started to day . And this box was one of it. TFTC
We walked right past it to search several other hint items before coming back. GPS reception was horrible and thanks for the good hint or else we probably wouldn't have found it. Left two TB. Thanks!
Persistance paid off,and the Cache was finally found after pacing up and down going back and forth for far too l o n g..Pleased to have it off our Unfound List.TFTC
Made harder work of this than was necessary...but once we read the description and hint properly the cache was located and a couple of TBs were extracted. Thanks for the cache
Had a couple of hours free this afternoon, which was the perfect opportunity to grab a few caches. Cache was found after a short search. Left two trackables. Thanks for the cache.
