With several accumulated DNFs, is it possible for the CO to check on this to see if it is still there, or otherwise needs to be replaced? Thanks.
This weekend, I headed to the Yorke Peninsula. The goal was to visit Innes National Park for the Saturday to find a few of the oldie geocaches, but also to enjoy a different vicinity for geocaching. I used Edithburgh to base myself for the weekend's activities. On the drive to/from Edithburgh, I visited Ardrossan, Port Vincent, Wool Bay, and Coobowie, and also visited as far south as Sultana Point and Troubridge Point.
Today, I took the long route home back to Adelaide from Edithburgh, but did multiple detours along the way. I initially headed south to Sultana Point, followed by Troubridge Point; Two areas that I hadn't visited in all of my historical Coobowie Yorke Peninsula trips. I then drove north following the coastal route, stopping off in Coobowie, Wool Bay, and Port Vincent. A highlight was visiting the white clay mine just north of Stansbury, and it was a nice walk along the beach to get to.
No luck at this location for me today - I suspect the cache has gone unfortunately. A CO visit may be required here. Thanks anyway clan greenwood for the cache placement.

After a lovely couple of days staying in Wool Bay with Madham02 we were on our way home and wanted to get a few caches on our way. It was decided that we would go as far as Sheaoak Flat then head back to Port Vincent for some fish 'n chips for lunch. You just have to have fish 'n chips when you are at the beach.
This was the last one before lunch and our last for the trip, a quick find here. We didn't get this one when this series was first published as there had been a problem with the coords, so I'm glad we have got them all now. [^]
Thanks for the cache clan greenwood.

This was out in the open and the log book needs to be replaced as the container is not sealing properly. Thanks for the cache
Found but it’s in very poor condition, contents are saturated and need replacing. Unable to sign log! Thanks for bringing us out here
Found on my day off from Walking the Yorke. Did not sign the log as it was simply too wet. Drained out the water but needs some drying out. TFTC
This is a fabulous walk along the bottom of the cliffs and you can return along the top. Found on four day trip to Port Vincent. Thanx
Well, what a weekend! The FFLL ladies and myself decided to head over to SA to tackle the newest installment of the Fishy Tales caches, the Gone Fishin' series. Having a long weekend presented to us, and a day extra, we had a big task at hand to get them all done, but we did! There were many tears of laughter, exhausted bodies each night, and plenty of caches found. We even managed to score ourselves a few Earthcaches, Virtuals and even Webcams along the way as well as me passing my 10,000 find
Lovely location along this trail, a nice place to start the big day off, with a nice wander along the coast.
Thanks for the cache hide clan greenwood and a very special thanks to the FFLL ladies for an awesome fun filled adventure away Looking forward to the next adventure.

Day 2 of our 4 day geoadventure with Rapidlywild on the Yorke Peninsula. After a good nights rest it was time to check out Port Vincent in the daylight and grab a bite to eat and collect a few smileys around town as well.
A nice trail and with spots overlooking the beach. A quick grab and onto the next one. TFTC

We started off the day with the plan to do the caches that we have bypassed on other trips to the area when we have not had the time to do the walks. SL TFTC
Off down the Yorke for a few days with Purrfect Di, Jack, Sebastbat, muggle Alex and Chloe the geodog (cat's crazy staff).
Celebrating Di and Matty's birthdays with a few scenic caches.
Found this cache along the way.
Did the upper part of the trail today. Will return for the rest!

Holidaying in Minlaton with Messy61... thought we would go for a drive and pick up some caches in the area. Beautiful day, sun warmer than the temperature rates but a good day to do some caches. Lovely breeze down here to keep us cool. A bit windier here on the coast...lovely view TFTC
Another fun day caching with DoubleHelixClan and Murphy the geodog. No wildlife encounters today. TFTC
Water was getting into the cache. I dried as best I could and replaced the log.

We are coming to the end of our three weeks staying on the Yorke Peninsula, and we will be sad to say goodbye to such a lovely area. We have moved around a bit spending three nights at each of the spots we’ve chosen, and it’s a great way to really get to see so much of what is on offer here. We’ve picked up heaps of caches but, more importantly, we have come to love this region and intend to return here and continue our explorations. Some great bakeries, coffee shops and pubs are also worth coming back for!
A gun near GZ is out in bloom too, with lovely sizeable yellow blossoms. We are used to red blossom!

The Rats, steeba and Hoojar have teamed up for a York Peninsula adventure of massive proportion. With much planning and logistical coordinating, we had a great five days meandering the country roads collecting a plethora of caches. Our journey started with a handful letterbox caches before heading down the peninsula following the “Gone Fishn” series. We followed this up with an array of geo-art images that litter the lower peninsula. Returning to Adelaide we collected a gaggle of old and rare finds which included some interesting earthcaches and virtuals.
My apologises for the generic log, but thanks to all the cache owners and caching buddies who made the road-trip such a memorable and fun experience.

After a review of the geocaching map in South Australia it was determined a trip to the Yorke Peninsula would yield some significant numbers. So, The Rats, Hoojar and I teamed up once agan to tackle the many caches on the peninsula.
We started in the darkness after flying into Adelaide and the next day set some personal records (550+ caches in a day) and milestones before bunking down. The next day was another massive numbers haul which resulted in a bit over 1,000 caches in two days !
Then it was a little more sedate down to the bottom of the peninsula and then back up the easterly side, ticking off a few EarthCaches in the process .
After that, back to Adelaide for some night caching, virtuals and more EarthCaches!
The power trails on the peninsula were great- quiet roads, some great green wheat and yellow canola scenery, coupled with some great company and usual ribbing of each other [^]!
Thanks for your cache- sorry about the generic log. For the EarthCaches and virtuals look out for an email or two shortly.

This was a trip that had been some time in the making. A journey from Wollongong in New South Wales to the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia, in search of large numbers. Five days were set aside, and The Rats, Steeba, and myself planned the details out. Lofty numbers were floated; we could find one thousand geocahces... Maybe more! The world was our oyster, all we had to do was make it happen.
We flew into Adelaide and quickly rented our car, then headed off for a series of thirty letterbox caches late that night. We then set up camp, ready for the next few days.
Two days journeying down the Yorke Peninsular saw us collect 550 caches the first day, and 450 the next. One thousand caches in two days! The numbers were phenomenal, unheard of, and excellent! At one stage we found fifty caches in a one hour period! We worked ourselves into a solid routine, and managed to push these numbers without caching after dark. Incredible! We camped out beside the trail, ready to commence again the following morning.
Having reached our goal of one thousand, we rented a cabin and enjoyed a solid relax and beet, and we were then able to dedicate the remaining time to specific caches, mostly Earthcaches to keep Steeba (The Professor) happy, and a good number of Vrtuals as well, as we made our way back from the end of the Yorke Peninsular to Adelaide. It really became a Tour De Earthcache! If your geocache is such a hide, stand-by, as Steeba will soon contact you with our answers.
As is always the case with these trips, the company was the highlight, with banter non stop, the time went by in an instant.
We saw some amazing things, found some excellent caches, and had an absolute blast.
Ticking just over 1300 finds for the trip, you will have to excuse the boilerplate logs!
Thanks to all of the cache hiders for their efforts in placing and maintaining their hides. It was fantastic exploring this part of the world that I had never visited before. Thanks also to my geocaching partners, without whom such a trip would not be possible, nor fun!
Cheers

Found container as described by orevious finder, now replaced with a new one and some natural cammo. TFTC
After finding N.Trail-Stumpy in a sad state we headed back to Gum Nuts. Here we found a container with a badly broken lid. The logbook in its plastic bag and the other contents were dry for now but the cache will need urgent maintenance if it is to remain viable.
After signing the log and sealing it up in its plastic bag we gathered up the other contents and put them on some bark then inverted the now lidless cache container over them. Hopefully this will keep the contents safe until the container can be replaced.
Thanks for this cache and others in the series clan greenwood.

On our stay in Port Vincent during December I was pleased to see plenty of geocaches on the map, which would keep my current streak going. That meant finding just one a day, and walking/driving past others on the way there though, which was a bit frustrating. Logging them all now that we are home and have access to a PC.
Was looking in the wrong spot initially, and then realised I was a bit out, and moved further west. Once I did that it was a quick find. Dropped off the 'Washington Walla' koala TB to continue its journey with someone new. TFTC

**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I did in 2016. I cache with an assortment of cachers and never alone. In 2016 I cached with Moneydork, Ride the GeoWalrus, Locus Cacher, Liz & Bruce and Team Zouk. My log should match up with one of theirs. I enjoy every cache find I have made and do not for one second take for granted the effort going into each one, its just I'm very bad at logging my finds and I'm trying to improve. To improve I have to reduce the quality of my log and just get it over with -- for now. If I can form a good habit again I will return to my once more meaningful logging. Thanks heaps for hiding caches around South Australia that I could find!

Out and about quite early to explore some of the nooks and crannies of Port Vincent, before packing the caravan and moving to Marion Bay. Another interesting stop on our walk, the first of the Northern Walking Trail caches. Images attached.
Satellites today had our GZ 5 metres south of where we found the cache.
Our thanks to clan greenwood for placing this cache.

Left Yorketown, and travelled to Minlaton via Port Vincent, picking up caches with Konie.
We travelled some great country roads, and the scenery was stunning.
Even though it was quite hot, we managed to do a few trail and other caches in the area.
Many thanks for placing this cache, clan greenwood, for us and others to find.

8675. One full day in Port Vincent so Robmc and I managed a 13km ride around town and several walks to gather some smilies. To our surprise after a rainy start the skies cleared and we enjoyed a sunny, if windy day touring around. The ocean looked magnificent in its many shades of blue!
Now we have reached the top and have some easy cycling next to the road with great views across the water. This is better. A nice quick find here and the cache and log are in good condition, but a little faded.
Thanks. clan greenwood

Day three of the short holiday with Bettyboo3747. Cycled around Port Vincent.
Ran north in the morning, then south in the afternoon (well shanks ponies in the afternoon).
Lovely views all along the coast, with the Gulf on one side, and the green and gold fields on the other.
We wound around a bit coming up the hill and weren't sure if we were on the right track. When we hit the road we saw the track marking and were off.
This was our first on the top track. They grow the gum tree short around here!
Thanks, Robmc.

Another day on the Yorke with alansee and Team Crackers. A variety of caches were encountered and eventually conquered, making for an enjoyable and liesurely day out. I'm sure a few extra finds would have occurred but taking a long lunch put paid to that expectation.

Found with Team Crackers and Micaparamedic on another great SA caching day. Not that many spots to look and we soon found this little one.
Day three with Alansee and Micaparamedic we were finishing off a few caches around Port Vincent and then heading to Wallaroo for a few days caching there
We pulled up here and guessed where the cache would be and were even brave enough to head off without the GPS'rs. We are happy to say that we were correct. Although the lid is missing off the container the contents are still quite dry, we can't see any reason for this to change as long as everyone returns it correctly.
To save room in the logs we signed as M.A.C.( Micaparamedic Alansee and Team Crackers).
Thanks for the cache
Last of the Northern Walking Trail caches for now we will get the other one from the other side.. Now on to the Alan Powell Walking Trail.

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia after having attended Oz Mega.
Today was a quieter day for us touring with iluvtrekking. We headed out from Coobowie to, Port Giles, Wool Bay, Stansbury and Port Vincent before returning to Coobowie.
The weather was threatening at one point, but generally we had the best possible weather and company. We saw some awesome views and extremely grateful for seeing some highlights that Yorke Peninsula has to offer.
The walking trails fell to Mr FelixII and Mr iluvtrekking. They walked both trails and collected the info along with tackling some cache maintenance. We stayed in touch through the trek on uhf radio and mobile phone. Interesting tour and many pics taken.
