Will archive this one as apparently I can't move it more than 161 metres. Will create a new one a little further away where it is safe to pull off the highway.
Called past today on my way from Hobart. Cache is missing, and the roadworks when completed will probably make it impractical to replace in the existing location. Will leave it in suspense until roadwork is completed and then evaluate options.
The roadworks continues here so this have to remain disabled for a little longer.
This is a precarious place at the moment with the road works happening. I couldn't find the cache using the clue so it is possible that it is missing.
Precarious stop on the side of the highway! Thanks for the cache, loved the red sticker on it
So much great history in our caching today. RobinYang and I really enjoyed this one.
Spent the day caching with Magertom and after morning tea at Ross, stopped at this cache. There was road works happening along the southbound side so we did a u-turn. Took a few minutes of searching but thanks to the hint, found the cache nicely tucked in its hiding place. Thanks for a quick find on our travels.
A quick find with The Wackys on a tour of the area. Caching takes you to amazing areas and you can meet great locals and even those from afar when you poke around under bushes and the like. The experience has been addictive.
Thanks to UncleTom3 and *clear skies* from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!

18 September 2016 01:02:31, After coming through the current road works, was glad to locate this one safe and sound, was keen to enjoy the view here but was unable to locate a vantage point. Still was glad for the stop and short history.

Out blowing some cobwebs off the Cruiser today, and found out the answer to something I have wondered since I first visited Tassie in 2008.
Many thanks from Wacky

Have always wanted to stop here and take a photo of the beautiful remains. Thanks!
Without the geocache app I would have just driven past this hisyorical site.
Easy find and much better to park traveling North

Today was day 64 of our trip out of Sydney to visit the southern states of Victoria and Tasmania and was day 22 of the Tasmanian part.
This cache was a nice quick and easy find and after the log had been signed the cache was replaced where we found it. Thank you for bringing us to this area and thank you for placing this cache for us and others to find.

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
The house is parked at Campbelltown so today we were able to explore both Ross and Campbelltown. Lovely historic areas.
We loved bimbling about exploring and poking around in all the shops and reading historic signs. Needless to say we took loads of photos, and got back home before it started to rain again.

Easy find. On our way to Hobart on three week trip around Tassie before heading home to Toowoomba Qld.
Called in to drop off a Lego TB. I helped UncleTom place this cache, but this is the first time I've officially logged it.
Great drive by, great historical site. Isn't a shame that what must have been a great building is left to one archway. TFTC
A nice easy find and interesting piece of history.
The remaining arch is beautiful!

With a family name connection to the property across the road I was lucky my muggle wife left me stop for this one so we could look across the road at the same time
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the Land Down Under" ...
Enjoyed the history on these reminants. Very cool that the arch remains. Cache was located quickly with the help of the hint.
Thanks for the fun UncleTom3!

Dropped in here on the way to St Helens for a few days. Thought it sounded a interesting place to visit. I couldn't recall ever noticing this arch in any trips North before bit will keep an eye out for it in the future. Cache was an easy find once at the right post.
Great find with LumpyJRB. The mind boggles to think of what the school had to look like in its heyday. TFTC
On a travelling holiday visiting Tassie for a couple of days picking up caches as we go.theres so much to see and this is no exception. TFTC
Found while down here on holidays from Queensland visiting the Tassie in-laws over the Christmas period.
With a break in the traffic I was easily able to pull up and find this one.
It's interesting to now know what that ruin use to be.

I noticed the remains of this old building on the way to Hobart this morning having read its information last night. I thought to myself I'm going to get that on the way back and we did just that. A nice easy drive by for Team M to jump out of the car and get mind you he nearly rolled his ankle in the dark! SL @ 8.38pm TFTC Uncle Tom3. Took TB.
Very sad to see that this is all that is left of an amazing building. Mr. Plod on his motorbike was interested in what we were interested in too. TFTC!
Remembered the old building but parked too early for the cache. Sue logged it while Peter went back for the car, but she was then left by herself to get rid of the big spider guarding it. TFTC UncleTom3
Going up the midlands (which for someone from Hobart means heading north) started off with two did not finds at Kempton. This discouraged looking for the others there, then as we approached Longford, via Cressy, the GPS was turned on too late and a caching opportunity lost. Nevertheless we did manage to get some caches for the day.

Blink and you'd miss it. Enjoyed the history and the link to Ross church. quick find at GZ. t4tc
