Can't be bothered to replace again. Plenty of other cachers to contribute these days. LOL, there were only +/- 20 caches in the wider Whangarei district, when I first placed " Walkabout"!
Needed to find a big stick to get it as it had been pushed far in but we did it. Thanks
Our first actual find of the day as we were completing the adventure labs, wherigo and virtual in the area. Nice to make a quick easy find here. No lid on cache container but log was dry.
This was a quick find but needed my wife’s (WelshGirl77) surgical skill to extract it. The top is missing from the container, but LB is dry and usable. TFTC
I'm assuming it was short for magnet? There was nothing there as there is really on one place it could have been. So thinking a muggle may have found it or I'm blind. Haha thanks x
Quick easy find, found container without the “lid” see picture and replaced as found. Also forgot my pen, so pic for proof
Beautiful ride along the waterfront to this nice find. I spotted straight away but made Miss 9 find it for herself. Took her some time. Great Cache.
Wandering the loop with the assistant whilst ticking off the adventure lab.

Easy find but had to use my trusty writing instrument to get it out of it’s hiding place
I went for a quick walk along the river with bub while waiting for family to finish a game of laser tag. For a nano this one wasn't too pesky and it's in a beautiful spot. TFTC!
Due to the Covid 19 lockdown & the need for everyone to keep within their "bubble", same reason as playgrounds are off limits, so are physical geocaches until further notice. Try some cracking puzzle/mystery caches, and get find the finals later, when it is safe.
Keep Well everyone!

I am using the excuse of friends of mine getting married in Northland this weekend to finally get to do what I have wanted to do for over 30 years now, visit 90 Mile Beach and Cape Reinga.
And of course whilst doing that I'm also making the most of a rare opportunity to grab a whole bunch of caches that either help me with my Jasmer grid, my Hidden Dates grid, or else are part of the TMGT, or lastly because they are an Earthcache or a Virtual which I like doing.
Cape Reinga roadtrip day 4 - the drive from Warkworth to Cape Reinga.
It was going to be a very busy day, trying to get as much caching done as I made the long winding way up to the very top of the North Island, but by the end of the day I would have finally managed to fulfill a 30 year dream, plus actually get to drive on 90 Mile Beach (including getting stuck in the soft sand and having to get towed out lol!).
This was my fifth targeted find of my day. All was pretty quiet here as I made my way to GZ. I was able to search and spot the cache very quickly. Opening up the logsheet, I discovered that it was pretty full. I believe I took the last available space. The biggest problem I had was that the magnet was so weak that replacing it exactly as found was a problem. I'm not sure how it was sticking when I found it, as it plainly refused to go back the same way. In the end i hid it in the same place as found but sat on top of something that would provide some support in the hope that it wouldn't fall down.
Thanks for the cache.

Love the sculptures and displays around this walk. Drizzly day today so couldn't do any outside work so decided to go get some caches on the loop. Log is full so couldn't sign. Thanks for the hide
Those pesky spider webs don’t half stick to your hands!!! And then the log was too full to initial, so I’ve taken a photo. TFTC
Note to future finders: don’t bother unrolling the log to see if there’s space to write your name because that isn’t. You’ll then be left with that awful business rolling it up tight enough to fit it back in.
Grrr! Great sculpture.
Grrr! Great sculpture.
Unable to sign.Dont even bother to unroll until replaced no space left for initials even.
Nice little walk around and grab, beautiful sculptures. Log full so photo logged it.

Quick find. The logbook is full, so Jakesrage and I couldn't log it. Picture of the logbook is attached. Tftc
Tramyard and I headed up north on a roadtrip to find the Northland geotour caches. We would have been up this way last weekend if I wasn't completing a half-marathon for charity and tramyard wasn't at a competition.
We stayed near Opononi last night and were heading back to Auckland via the west coast. Today we were targeting high favourite caches and virtuals after completing the geotour caches up north.
After visiting Tane Mahuta and Te Matua Ngahere we headed for Dargaville before taking a trip down the peninsula to find a few caches. We then headed off to Whangarei for the afternoon before returning to Auckland. It was a gorgeous, hot afternoon and very busy around the waterfront. We were unable to sign the log as it was full.

Found it during Northland trip with Aiden29. Nice hide on first day of Summer! TFTC
Found it on a nice evening walk. There is definitely no more space to add anything.
The only Traditional cache we found on our riverside walk this arvo and an impressive piece of art here. Soon had the cache in hand but no room to sign so added an X where the green writing was. T F T C SaltyCacheNutZ.
Day 3 was another day to fill with the grandkids and Ed so we did some stuff back at the lodgings before heading into town for him to complete some paperwork and admin. Only a modest 5 caches today, but a great walk along the riverside to start to gather the details for the Virtual.
Me and mrs capperz are up in Northland visiting our son, his partner and their four kiddies under 3 years old! Should be fun catching up and seeing how they've come on sice we last saw them 5 months ago in Australia. We headed up via re-locatable car from Wellington to Auckland Airport, via Whanganui overnight at daughter's, then swapped into our own hire car from Saturday until we head back to Marlbro next Wednesday evening. Not too many caching targets, but a few possibilities and hope to get the Virtuals as we pass them.

After a short airbnb break in Paihia we are making our way home. We stopped in Whangarei to do the Te Matau a Pohe virtual, and are also finding any trads along the way. Not the nicest of weather for a walkabout but walking about we are. Pleased to make a quick find here. Thanks.
Found this one on our New Zealand Roadtrip 2019. What a nice place to stay over night with our RV. Thanks for sharing.
P.S. the logbook is completely full and needs to be replaced. For this reason we add a foto log.

Spending the long weekend in the area with Jag50.. A quick find but the log is full but managed to squeeze my name on it
It could only be in one place. On opening it I found the log to be completely full. Sorry I don't carry spares that small size.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Staying in Whangarei for the week as one of the Jr. Cachers is playing in the U15 hockey tournament here and trying to fit in a few caches too. Out and about this afternoon to do a bit of shopping and so decided to grab a couple of nearby caches while in the area. Wandered across the pedestrian bridge and over to the interesting looking sculpture before heading to GZ. A quick find as we've done quite a few of these now, however there were signs of the cache being undisturbed for a while. Unfortunately the log is full and we only just managed to squeeze our geo-nick and date on. TFTC.
Found but couldn’t sign, log is full. Cool that there are these caches along the loop! Thanks
Camping nearby for the night in our motor home. Went for a short walk. Checked in case there was a cache nearby and yes there was. Unfortunately I didn't take a pen with me to sign

Cool spot, no space on the paper to write, beautiful walk along the waterfront
