yet again a great find , this has been a great adventure for the medcalfe whanau what a fantastic afternoon.
Found this one lying out in the open. Contents still all good, grabbed the travel bug and left a toy.

Found this on our way down to Kawerau for the little fella to play league, nice quick find on a cold winter morning
We are spending today driving home from Te Puke to Auckland via Rotorua collecting a lot of 'Remote' caches (ones that are at least 2km from their nearest neighbour) along the way. Stopped off for The Last Dance before continuing on our way. Thanks.
Yay ! ! Cache 3 on our very first day EVER of Geocaching. Just left the TeTeko races. Fantastic day. The kids are having a ball.
There were muggles here on my last visit so had to leave without searching for the cache. Had the place to myself today, and after a short search I spotted the tell tale signs of a cache placement. TFTC.

Mr Rattll's old school from 1976-8 (oops - showing my age). Our 3 kids went here for a while too, but the principle was a "twat", so we switched to Awakeri - fortunately he's gone now, so hopefully it's back to being a cool little school again 
No muggles around early on a Saturday morning, so a straight forward find. Now home for breakfast.

Dropped in to find this last week but arrived in the middle of the mums pickup phase at the nearby school so we left it until today. Nice easy find. TFTC
Out and about on a sunny Queen's Birthday weekend caching weekend, these rural halls could tell a tale or two, nice to see them well maintained and still in use TF TC.
On our way to Whakatane for a meeting and after FTF-ing the two latest caches on the way we had a few more on our list of " to finds ". This was another one of them.
Fortunately for us we arrived after hours otherwise there would have been dozens of mini muggles. As it was there were still quite a few cars and the odd parent, around the nearby school but no-one was taking any interest in us. After a bit of a hunt and reading the hint properly Mr S soon had the cache in hand.
Signed and replaced and dropped in a TB to gather more nuts.

Waltzed by for a quick find, we still attend the occasional urban school fair and rural calf club days, TFTC.
Out today with another team, so joint effort. Missed the last dance, but found the cache.
Doing a Sunday road trip today, and this became the first of the day. A nice quick find. Very quiet at GZ but I imagine it wouldn't be on a school day. Really tidy hide. TFTC

This brings back good memories from the 70's of dances in halls, just like this one.

TFTCschool just finished, dropped in, saw cache exposed on side of hall. so placed back in garden in obvious spot.
Pulled up just before 3pm and saw a few school buses, bit concerned about possible muggle activity but no one around. Thanks.
Saturday so things were quiet at gz making for a quick easy find.Man,that school building is cool for one that is obviously quite old.Very impressive & a credit to those who work there & look after it.Thanks for bringing us here Frewilys.
A trip down to my daughters led to this side trip as almost six year old Hadley wanted to show me his school. He was very interested when Nana started looking around the garden. I sort of wanted him to find it but not, as I thought he may be too eager to show his friends. So I spied the cache and then diverted him and took it out so that he didn't quite see where I found it. By the time I returned it he was running off to show me his classroom. TFTC
Day three of the 31 Days of August cache challenge; a 55.5 km drive out to collect this cache. Not used to finding a cache a day... almost have to be strategic.
Arrived to find the dance hall vacant. Looks like the cache is hidden in the smoking section rather than on the dance floor. Searched without gps and found a working cigarette lighter, before resorting to the trusted Garmin. A quick find thereafter and the first and last cache of the day. Off to visit Mum's friends in Kawerau. How convenient... TFTC. Day three over and out.

First to Find. Yay!!! I was looking at the geo-map and working out where I would drive to today and I saw a cache I hadn't noticed before. I saw it was a new one and wondered why I hadn't received an email alert about it and BING! the email came in. That decided it as to where I was going today. Didn't think I'd get a FTF tho but I bet the Kawerau caching crowd even with the drive from Tauranga! Only just though. Met DnA there and had a lovely conversation with Mrs while Mr did the searching bit. Thanks Frewilys for yet another cache.
