No luck with this cache today. I think I new what I was looking for but my time frame had run out. Thx for placing this cache. I'll be back.
Very satisfying to turn this one into a smiley face after my previous efforts here. Having found a similar cache recently, I had a much better idea of what I was looking for this time and found within a couple of minutes. Helped that my approach was from trackside this time and GPS much more reliable. Very waterlogged even in the baggy but the write-in-rain paper is doing its job! Dried things out as much as I could and returned to its excellent hiding place.
Based on the history of this cache, Im sure it is here somewhere, but even though I was pretty certain what I was looking for and spent 20 minutes or so in and around all the likely and unlikely spots nothing for me this time around. Ill be back.
Despite having a pretty good idea of what we needed to be searching for, we spent a while looking, but could not find the hide. Thanks Domsky
Ah classic! I’ve found these types of hides once before I think; fantastic clue for sure! TFTC!
Wow what a great cache.
Every since I’ve started geocaching I’ve been trying at trying to locate this cache many times.
Blends in so well.
Also the cache seems to get a bit of water in it as the cache was a quarter way filled up with water, also the log was a bit damp.

Great cache. Very cool idea and witty hint. There was a spoiler log further down that told us what to look for so if you want to find the cache without any hints make sure not to go too far down in the activity. Took over an hour to find and saw that clue just before we were about to give up. TFTC
Found it 7/1/23 Victoria and Con
Found it but not much was inside, log was wet and couldn't write on it, was infested with ants and had to dig through a spiders web to get to it, please take more care of it but good job with hiding it

Visited the cache today and cleaned out the container, replaced the log.
**Please Note: make sure the two clips are closed properly that way the container remains sealed and water nor insects can get in.**

Grabbed this one after doing a forensic photo analysis and zeroing in. It was a cool find. Discobob3 left her sunglasses here and we had to back track like a true treasure hunt without coordinates to grab them. TFTC
After doing the royal national park line multi this morning, with some food in our bellies for lunch Jennyfromthefarm and I went to tackle some others in the area. We saw the DNF but thought we would give it a go and searched for a little while, before Jennyfromthefarm keen eye for detail picked out a likely spot and soon after we had found.
TFTC! Picked up the trackable which we will place outside of our 5km radius very soon

Took me a while! Very high muggle activity today. Very relieved to finally nab it
3 July 2021 been here before spent a long time following the GPSr around this time was no different but when I was about to give up I spotted something unusual and soon had the cache in hand and a nice new logbook
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache aries44duo
The following TBs visited for the distance - Hawkesbury Tiger, 2011- 2020 NSW geocoins, Area 51 Tag, Cache In Trash Out Geocoin, Cache In Trash Out Tag, CITO Micro Geocoin, dirty Black Juke, Four Elements Geocoin, Mary Hyde's compass, Optical Illusion Geocoin, Spindoc Bob Memorial Geocoin, Trackable Building Brick, Wales Flag, Wheel of Caching Geocoin

Out exercising this afternoon and replaced the full log.
Cleared the "Needs Maintenance".

Made our way here from the station, along the mountain bike track and then the cycle path. The mountain bike trail was empty, but there was a race going on the main track so we kept to the side.
At GZ, a bit of exploring, then narrowing in with the GPS and the cleverly camoed cache was spotted. Thanks!

Despite knowing what to look for thanks to the hint and spoiler photos, it still took a few minutes to find. Nicely made. TFTC
Love the camo! Miss 5 almost gave up but mummy spotted it! TFTC and a fun time scooting here too
Oh dear... 3 DNFs in a row. Today is not going how I anticipated. My GPS took me round and round in a circle. I kept my eyes to the ground, but spotted nothing cache related. At least nothing that wasn't under piles of branches. I wasn't able to lift those...
Glad of the exercise, I've done way more than 10000 steps today. Easy find. TFTC aries44duo
Me and the wife looked for quite a while, but no luck. No finds for a few months, so possibly it's gone, or we just didn't notice it.
I found 1000 steps #1 before detouring up to this one. I have looked for this one once before and came up empty handed, but this time around I managed to make the find in seconds. Such a good spot need a keen eye to spot this one tftc
Having just undertaken the COs nearby Multicache we walked on to search for this one. The clever cache was found soon enough after a bit of a rummage around the Ground Zero area. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the very nice cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Heading north for an event, figured I’d add a few caches to make a day of it. Didn’t really count on the heat but with still an hour to kill, found myself adding a few more steps to the agenda and ticking off another three smileys nearby. By co-incidence, this one was closer to the car than expected on my way back from the other two and I didn’t need to backtrack too far, even if I circled GZ for longer than necessary. Spot on co-ords had me at a strange formation that matched clue but concealed nothing so checked some previous logs and a giveaway hint jumped out at me… about 10m away.
OCW the Bebes. A short stroll from a multi we had just bagged and found this nicely made cache. Tftc
OCW PelDroedGwin
The hot weather meant the area was deserted.
Nice container.

No short back and sides needed here. After walking around the bike track it was a quick find thanks to the hint. TFTC Aries
#207 Finally got this one on second attempt, my phone was way out, back the way I found it. TFTC
CO cache check today and cache in good order waiting to be found. Cheers, aries44.
Watched my grandson play AFL nearby. Found what perhaps was the camo. but no cache.
Find 5 of 6 while out caching around Loftus/Sutherland this morning
Fifth find of the morning. This was a tricky one to find. From the hint I had an idea of what I was looking for but that didn’t make finding it any easier. I was extremely lucky to spy a telltale sign of this hide from the right angle and it was success, CIH. Signed the log and returned as found, well concealed. All in good order here.
Thanks for the cache, Aries44.

Find #313
Too tricky for me. Lots of trees/branches/leaf litter down plus green growth from the summer around the GZ, so not sure if the camo is now over-camo-ed!!
Correctly guessed what to look for from hint but still required a bit of searching. TFTC!
Thought I'd go geocaching with the ManChild for a bit and found the first few then just now we're in a pretty thin amount of bush and I'm looking at the ground and i look up and I'm face to face with one big mofo of a spider! Those ones that look kinda plastic with the big butt and striped legs O_o now don't get me wrong, I'm ok with spiders. Being scared of spiders is not really a luxury Aussies can have, but right now all i wanna do is go home, make some hot chocolate, climb under a blanket and watch sweet lovely children's cartoons and try not to think of that thing coming for me in the night O_o
19/2/17. 9:49 AM.
1 DNF after 4 finds - Grays Point & Sutherland
I continued on foot here from "Shire's Treasure #11.", having to keep well to the sides of the track as there was a cycle race on. When I got to GZ I considered what the hint might mean and this gave me an idea or two.
But I went around in circles for at least 15 minutes, getting nowhere. To be honest, I was rushing a bit because it was getting on towards time to head for home. Might need to read some more past logs if I want a better result here next time. We'll see...

Found a container out in the open, lid off identical to a previous logger's photo with nothing inside
Wow what a difference having no Geokids makes! Found it within 4 minutes this time around. I can't believe I missed it last time! Sorry Aries44 for making you check it! TFTC
Cannot believe we missed this last time we were here. Amazing what looking without kids can do to help your find rate. Seems we are on a roll. Found with jeanovanwam
CO cache check today revealed that the cache is indeed still alive and well. A bit of tree clearing has been done but has not impacted on the cache. Its tricky. Cheers Aries44.
Just spent 30 minutes with a fellow geocacher at GZ I have noticed that a few trees have probably fallen down since the last time this was found I will wait to see if it is still alive after CO's next maintenance run
Thanks.
Another quick find. GPS right on spot. A quick search revealed the hidden treasure.

Thoroughly unenjoyable search here this evening. Knew what I was looking for but it's like searching for a needle in a haystack.
#2503 (2 of 2 today) (Streak day 209)
Not as much time as usual before dinner with friends in The Shire, so could only grab two caches here today.
I'd wanted to do the 10000 STEPS trail, but had only grabbed #5 before most were archived - thanks to aries44 for keeping a few of them going. And, ironically, here today I drove to the two I grabbed.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
I'd noted the previous log and no recent finds, but I'm close so might as well have a go.
Parked near the track going near GZ and started a walk witg a few muggle cyclists. Like the previous log, I had an idea what to look for, and at first I went around in circles not spotting anything likely. Hmmm. But finally the iPhone settled on an area so I checked it.
And there was the cache, still sitting there happily.
I suspect extra natural camo flummoxed the last cacher here. It changes the look from what you'd expect quite dramatically.
Completed signing duties and replaced (with a nice dusting of natural camo) and time for my friends' place - well, actually I should have been there 20 minutes ago...
