Have to be honest the end cords took me a while to work out but for the rating they were dead on. A relatively easy dander to gz where the cache was quickly found, all in good condition. And as a bonus we met another Vizsla on the way back. Great cache and series ty for all the effort, fav given

This was it... the Main Event of the day! Cool The final Hide that would see my last 3 months of targeted & carefully planned caching come to fruition with the completion of Loop-2 of my DT Grid Razz

There are very (very) few DT 5/3.5's in the entire country... The other one that springs to mind is the North-West Evil Challenge(!!!) http://coord.info/GC31Y9T --- so this cache (Ligoniel #5) is pretty special. And My God(!) does the CO make you work for every DT-star on offer [8] Not only is the actual Terrain and Find a fair old workout - with narrow paths, thick undergrowth and raging rivers to contend with (refer photo) --- but just to *source* the starting coordinates takes another 4-5 hours just to complete the 4 pre-qualification Hides - notwithstanding the high school algebra exam at the end Wink

Loved every minute of it [^] ...especially the double river-crossing on the final approach to GZ!

TFTC - Favourite Point! Now on to DT Loop-3...

1 of 16 finds and 1 DNF on a short(ish) caching day. In March I set myself a target of doing the DT grid 10 times, a bit of an ask given I only had it done 3 times when I set the goal and had 108 caches to do to finish it. Today saw the grid finished for the 4th time and with one other one ticked off the list I'm down to 96 to go.

I enjoyed this series, especially since it had stopped raining. Giving 4 & 5 the favourites.

Like 4, this one would be good as a stand along cache never mind as part of the series. It was the cache that ticked off another box for me in my D/T quest. Watertproof boots came in a little useful on this quest.

Having been FTF on 1 and 2 nearly 2 years ago and with no 4 under our belts some quick calcs and around to no 5. See full story from WR. Eventually found this one will never be muggled! Fav added. TFTC

We decided it was time to clear up some caches in and around the city. Having picked up no 4 and some quick calcs we came round for the final. Reached a very obvious tree and hunted - and hunted to no avail. Very disappointed headed home. Over a cup of tea we realised the mistake which had been made.
Not so far from home headed back to a point only about 15m away from the original - after a short search the final location was known.
And then the evil bit as we followed the instructions but to good end and the final was in hand. Excellent cache and fav added. TFTC
