This is an area that I have not been to before even though I have lived in Melton for many years, if memory serves me right this was part of the golf course before the Gisbourne road was built. Sl grabed geotag tftc
Took a little while to find this geocache but was made easier with the walking stick.

Last day of the year and a souvenir on offer, so out hunting I go. As a bonus, I only needed to find seven today to round me out to 600 for the year. I had a nice plan to do it all around Eynesbury, which went south when my CX500 went onto reserve on the road in. Not knowing whether there would be fuel in Eynesbury or not, I changed plan and cut back on the number of caches I'd hunt here and find the rest in or around Melton.
After filling up at the first servo I found between Eynesbury and here I plotted a course for home that would take me past enough caches to get me up to 600 for the year without spending more time than I had available. This one was only a minor detour from that course.
When I arrived at GZ, I placed my iPhone on a rock in the shade at a spot where it indicated GZ to be about 7m away. After a cursory look around the rock my iPhone was on, I moved away and started my search where GZ should be. After a few minutes of unsuccesfully hunting I dug out my gypsy and turned it on. While it was firing it up, I placed it on the rock my iPhone was on and had another closer look at likely places in the immediate vicinity. I very soon had the cache in hand and the log signed.
The cache is in good condition.
Dropped a TB, LNSL. TFTC The 2 Wanderers.

Initially I was walking around in circles looking in the wrong spots, then I thought where would I hide a cache here, and soon the cache was in hand.
Thanks **The 2 Wanderers**

Needed a few caches to round out the months' finds, so I headed out along the Melton Highway.
A nice cool day for a few caches, although the road was busier than I thought it would be.
This is certainly an area I have never noticed before,
I was a bit worried about the playground in the description, this being school holidays, but that was in the general area, not at GZ.
All quiet on the western front.
Thanks, Robmc.

Gps initially very temperamental but finally stabilised and cache was found and log signed. Took anout 15 mins of hatd searching. Nice spot. TFTC
We drove to this one and I minded Tess and Luke whilst Mrs P and Will made the search. They didn't come up with the goods this time. We will be back another time with all 5 sets of eyes of Plowfive to check again.
We were in the vicinity and pretty sure we knew where it was going to be, but the little black ants were covering the ground and our shoes and crawling up our legs, so we had to get out before we found it!

With a day off with the geo family, we decided to get out of the house for a few hours and enjoy a few things in and around Melton. It has been a while since I was up here last. We parked on the side of the road and walked over to where I guessed it would be but I was going the wrong way. A quick change of direction and after a brief search, the cache was found tucked away. Stamped and replaced as found.
**Thanks for placing this trad cache The 2 Wanderers**
**Cache container and log in fine condition**

Quick find before dinner with Ausyowie. A small cat came out to see what we were up to. It didn't hang around long.
Thanks for a fairly straight forward cache. The gps signal took about 5 minutes to settle, but we got it sorted in the end.
A quick find this afternoon with Motndarg. No muggles to be seen. Thanks T2W, took TB.
Dropped by on the way back from Kryal Castle to drop a [TB](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?tracker=TB6DGM0) off. TFTC!
Had a day off today and decided to get some caches around Melton. This took a bit of time looking around the place until I found the right spot. TFTC
6th find for the day as Sambazoid77 and I make our way to the airport. TFTC #Gumbyworldtour
On our trip to Melton we decided to take my grandparents! 3 boys were excited to take their great grandparents geocaching! Thanks
what a great hide!! Found this cache along with Lizard1983. Was a quick and easy find, Thank you
Was here yesterday and back with different outcome, GPSr was quite steady today, and put me to another spot which has a cache, Thanks for these hides The 2 Wanderers, and another bigger sized container
Came out here on a nice long walk with dad to get some caches that I haven't done in this area! Found the cache but forgot to bring a pen! Got a photo of it tho! TFTC

TFTC LN TN! My girls enjoyed the stop here and had a little play! Been coming to Melton for30 years and never knew about this spot!
I got so excited thinking there was a trackable as I've never found one.. But no trackable
that was a bit tricky. could of been in any of these. finally found it. hands a bit itchy
I had to go to the pool shop today, so I took the loooooooong way around to ensure I could collect a few caches on the way. Tried to grab this one on the way into the estate, but just as I opened the geomobile door someone turned up to have a cigarette break. Yuck! Shoo shoo! Nevermind, off to find some more.
On the way out I parked closeby and started searching. Couldn't believe the jumping GPSr signals here; not sure why. After turning circles for a bit I found the sneaky thing, signed the log, and as I was replacing someone else turned up for their smoke. But be the place to do that stuff haha.

Found the geocache this visit after a few previous failures. Hurray! A good hide. SL. TN. LN. I think the cache has been muggled because there were some swear words written on the inside of the lid and there was a cigarette butt inside the cache. I cleaned the lid and removed the butt. The cache contains several toys for swag, and there is plenty of space in the log. Much of the cache's dark paint cammo has peeled off but otherwise the cache is in good shape. Thanks The 2 Wanderers.

After a DNF nearly a year ago we revisited today and had the cache in hand in just a few minutes. No idea what happened last time, except that our GPS didn't point us at this location. Stupid technology.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this cache here today and for us to complete the series.

TFTC. We had decided to stay in Hillside with team Stacie&Mitch for another night with the intention of completing the RRR trail and then because we were close the TSS trail. This morning with two thirds of team Stacie&Mitch (two grand children ) we set of for a day of quality time with number 1 grand daughter and number 3 grandson.
We stopped in the area for a bite to eat before starting on the Killarney Lakes Adventure. After lunch we walked and drove to the various caches on the trail. Definitely a great spot to walk and ride bikes.
We found this cache on our way out of the estate. Took a bit of finding but got there in the end.

Find No. 1153. Found with FUF009 at 4.00pm.
A trip to Melton to attend Intervening Days V111 Event. Once that was over it was time to do some caching before heading home.
As we were leaving the Killarney Lakes area we stopped to grab this one. Guessing where it would be, all we had to do was find it, and it was FUF009 who came across it.
Took tazo. Left plastic charm.

This was my 4th Dnf in a row and I had a good look and now I see a cacher has logged a find , Doh .
After attending the intervening event I was wanting to stretch the legs. It always good to check out different areas and the walk along here was very quiet today. Always doing the things the wrong way round. Needed to widen my search here and refering previous logs I knew where it wasn't. It was only when Mr X finally got out of the car and walked straight to it that I could sign it off. bummer..... Thanks for bringing us here The 2 Wanderers and thanks for the day to catch up with everyone
It took us a few minutes to find this one, but before long we had the cache in hand, log signed, cache re hidden, and were on our way again.
After meeting the COs at their event, I was off for a ride , the compass took me to the metal fence but cache was found tucked away somewhere else. Thanks
Caching around here after attened an INTERVENING DAYS V111.
Thanks The 2 Wanderers

The immediate area GZ needs an urgent clean up - At present a number of offensive material has been discarded very close GZ.
Unfortunately I wasn't carrying gloves or otherwise I would have taken care of this issue.

Find #1509
I did a drop off at the airport and spent an evening caching in unfamiliar territory out west. Mixed success in this area with some finds and some DNFs. This one took a while but I made the find. I was here on dusk and searched around in several spots. In a similar story to others I found the GPS leading me a merry dance. Eventually I checked in detail and was rewarded with the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables that I am taking to the Melbourne mega event. Thanks for the cache The 2 Wanderers. PS I spotted neither the TB nor the offensive material.

Out and about with shogun. Coords had us going in a couple of directions and once settled took us to a likely spot. Looked around for about 15 mins when shogun made the find. Log signed and safely back again.
Up down, back and forth - will the GPSr make up it's mind - Left, right, sideways, High and low. I was close to calling this one.
I decided to put the G down and eventually geo-senses prevailed. Found approx to the left OR right, depending on the search grid HAHAHA.
Nice size container in good dry condition.
Many Thx to the CO

Found on a nice cool morning after leaving my travel buddies snoozing in the hotel. We are over for the Lion King and stayed in Melton due to being terrified of the Melbourne traffic. After no luck at the nearby stone wall I was a bit despondent but really needed a cache to fill a calendar day. Luckily it was only after a short look I found it. Luckily for me there was a pencil in it as I couldn't find a pen in Mums car.

This one took a bit of looking and all I uncovered was some fairly unsavory rubbish and some broken glass, but as it turned out my GPS had me looking in the wrong section. Once I changed focus I found it reasonably quickly. Thanks for the cache The 2 Wanderers.
