I have had WAGB, and caching in WA, on my todo list for some time. I contemplated booking in earlier in the year but couldnt commit. Two weeks ago I decided I might just be able to make it work. So a mad scramble began. Last minute flights, accommodation and cache plans - tick, tick, tick! Fast forward a couple of crazy weeks and Ive finally landed. Today I finally get to add the last Australian souvenir to my collection, WA! Having got up at 4am to catch a flight (2am WA time) it was a very long day, but super rewarding and superb weather. This is one of the first WA caches added to my find list.I recall solving a similar puzzle to this one during Covid and enjoyed it, as I did this one. This was my first physical find of the trip.A big thanks goes to Kyzabra for taking the time to add Whats Next ? to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! The fun just never stops.Have you logged your will attend for Victoria's first ever Block Party? (Think Mega but even more special!)Join us on 22-23 March 2025 in Sunbury to celebrate 25 years of geocaching by logging your will attend at [**GCAP417**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).

An odyssey over many years, including having to go back to the puzzle and solve again. I think this was the third actual search though the first DNF wasnt officially recorded, it was at a different GZ so I would say around 2015 while the container was muggled. And this time it was oh so simple, walk up, say it should be here somewhere, and boom there it was. My most favorite puzzle cache ever, glad to have finally ticked it off. TFTC

07-May-24
Finally, I solved the puzzle and found the cache. The cache itself is not difficult. All difficult points go to the puzzle. Thx CO for helping me on one of the questions and hiding and maintaining the cache.

19-Feb-24
Solved a long time ago but hadnt had an opportunity while in Perth again. Had a quick look but did not find and my kiwi mum and dad were scared of the imaginary snakes spiders and ants. Decided to come back later without them but ran out of time before leaving town. Maybe next time!

23-Dec-23
Found it

23-Jul-23
Just talking about how cool this puzzle is/was.
Its the puzzle that has been sitting in my solved pile the longest.
Amazingly...I see that this cache was hidden the same day I started geocaching.
Sooo...coming up to 10 year anniversary.( I have an event planned on the day)

Dont ever archive this kyzabra...I will to the western states one day.

**FP when I get there...two if i could**

07-Jul-23
Not sure if I will ever get here. A Facebook question started me on these puzzles and after some time, and a very quick nudge from the CO, I finally completed it today. I'd give this a favourite for the puzzle if I ever find the cache.

11-May-23
Been working on this one on and off for a long time now, mainly off. The blue icon annoying everytime we head to Mr dimor's parents. Finally I got him to work on it and he delivered the goods.

Made a quick find today after doing 4/5 of the AdLad

TFTC

10-May-23
Took a while but quick when I looked in a different spot. TFTC

02-May-23
Enjoyed a stroll around the lake doing the ad lab and finding the caches. Thanks for the puzzle, Kyzabra!

23-Apr-23
Reasonably quick find for me here today. Awesome puzzle and concept. Thanks.

18-Apr-23
Woo hoo. Took a while both to do the puzzle and find the cache. Very satisfying to finally do both. TFTPC

12-Mar-23
DNF! Only had time for a short look today so will return when I have longer to hunt… I have a feeling if it’s anything like the puzzle it’ll be a tricky one!

29-Jan-23
Found during impromptu caching session on a Sunday afternoon!! Tftc!!

29-Jan-23
Out for another day of caching with BJA3.

All good here,  thanks for placing and maintaining this hide for us and others to enjoy!

22-Nov-22
Enjoyed this puzzle. Wanted to leave a trackable but not enough logs to ensure swift travels for Hailey the honeybee

22-Nov-22
Some time ago we visited here and were "rewarded" with a Blue Dot. Over this way this morning and Patch was keen to see if we could make amends. So it was we had this wee baby in hand. Patch really enjoyed this Puzzle: "Difficult and Great". Thanks Kyzabra, all's in great shape here. FP for sure.

01-Nov-22
On the way back from the airport today. We needed to run a bit of energy off the kiddos so we went here. Enjoyed solving this puzzle ages ago, thanks to the cache owner for helping out with one part that I really should have known. Spent a few hours here all up exploring around the part and doing the adventure lab. Favourite point added

26-Oct-22
I remember solving this over a year ago now and thanks to a little bit of help from the CO, managed to get to the end and reveal the final coordinates.
I was picking up a chair nearby today so it was my chance to finally unearth this one.
Loved the puzzle idea and really enjoyed the area.
Thanks Kyzabra. A favourite point of course. Smile

What a ripper!!!
We started this ages ago, put it away, then picked it up again. We eventually got it solved and this lil puzzle piece had been here ever since!! When the borders opened earlier this year we put a plan in motion.
Back in Feb we were sitting in NSW after finding a cache in 3 different states on 1 day. kenbryl mentioned hitting all the states and territory’s this year as our mission. Well that’s a bit ambitious, but considering our mission for last year wasn’t fulfilled due to covid we figured we could give this one a good hard crack.
February saw us hit QLD and NSW
March we road tripped to SA
May we flew to Tassie
June we roadtripped to ACT
Last Monday we flew from VIC to WA
Next month we are heading up to NT
We have definitely left enough for ‘next time’ lol.
I loved solving this one!! A fp from me

27-Sep-22
Omg!!! Loved this puzzle. Kenare and I had solved one very similar in Adelaide and we found this one. Started it at work…. Then hit a road block…. Revisited…. Same….. think we may have asked for a clue…..got there eventually. Never thought we would ever come here…. Fast forward to today and our chance had come. Excited to finish what we started a great hide to top off an excellent puzzle. Fav point from me for the amazing puzzle

26-Sep-22
Jenno3 and kenare got on the band wagon of finding and solving ones like this a while ago. I helped with one or two. They were pretty stoked to find the cache today. tftc

22-Mar-22
This was solved a while ago, and finally found with Morgo the Geo.

An unexpected caching afternoon with redruthguy, knocking off a few more.

I must admit this puzzle took me a while even with a few nudges from the CO.

Favourite point added

Kyzabra, I found Whats Next ? today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

03-Mar-22
Down for westoz meeting. Funny thing I saw a guy in his undies sunbaking on the grass on my way in and on my way out he was meditating. Random things you see whilst out caching. Beautiful park and happy to make the find. Thanks for the puzzle Kyzabra and adding a smiley to my map

19-Nov-21
I wasn't leaving Perth without giving this another crack. I was up and at 'em this morning around 5am, working through some remaining labs before my mid morning flight back to Brissy. As I headed south to Cannington, it made for a convenient detour back to this one enroute to the airport. Handy... Big Grin

So, back at a familiar GZ I had confirmation I was looking in the right place, so got stuck into the hunt. Surprisingly or sadly, I'm not sure which, I spotted the container almost immediately and as we do, wondered how on earth I missed it the first time. Red Face

I didn't harbour any concerns for too long, I added my name to the log, returned the container and nipped ot the airport viewing point for the first of the new labs there.

Cheers Kyzabra. Oh ok, I'll add another favourite point to the list... Wink

14-Nov-21
DOH... A couple of attempts to work through the puzzle, than I had the final coords and was all set to tick this one off after touching down from Brisbane. Sadly, I couldn't find the container. Twisted

22-Oct-21
Took a couple of nudges from the benevolent CO to get me over the line with this one. Fortunately a quick find at GZ today. Took the resident TB for further travels . Fave point. TFTC Smile

10-Sep-21
Out and about in the Belmont-Ascot area for the afternoon. Quick find here. Thanks for the hide and puzzle.

11-Aug-21
Got stuck on one of the clues but with a little help managed to get through. Had a good hunt around the coordinates and come up with the goods! Left a travel bug fresh from the Top End. Great cache, thanks!

11-Aug-21
Thanks for the mystery hunt! A couple of the clues were a little vague and were a struggle to figure out but overall it was a fun and interesting challenge to get this cache.

Found it after a little bit of looking around the site.

20-Jun-21
With a while since a find, and a recent DNF, I’ll head out in the next week or so and check GZ.

19-Jun-21
No luck here today on a search with two sets of eyes. Coords had me looking in a bit of a clearing, nothing to be found anywhere nearby. Will keep an eye on this one.

TFTC Kyzabra

Patch really enjoyed solving this clever Mystery Cache but alas the little fella got the best of us so it’s off to have a darn good sulk. Thanks for the puzzle but it’s a Bluey for us here.

08-Feb-21
We loved this cache from start to finish!
The puzzle had us all involved including young geokids. We did cave and contacted the CO twice for a nudge or confirmation we were on the right track. Only after first trying ALOT!!
The location is beautiful, plenty to do and see. Required some stealth today as there is road works.
4th cache in our 7 cache hunt!

01-Dec-20
This was a very fun puzzle to solve. The other half and I bounced it back and forth between us and managed to solve it in an evening. We came to find it on a rare child free afternoon and found the cache sitting out in the open. We replaced it it as close to GZ as we could. Thanks for the cool mystery cache Kyzabra!

29-Nov-20
Thanks for the puzzle, from Edmonton Alberta Canada! Spotted it online in a Facebook puzzle solving forum. Maybe someday I will be able to come and find the final...

04-Jul-20
Thanks for the mystery, we enjoyed solving it after a few wild goose chases! Tftc.

This was our first mystery cache. Had a lot of fun (sometimes frustration) doing the quiz but got it in a couple of days. Just found the cache after walking over it three times! TFTC

Catching up on a few logs that I’ve never got around to sending. Please excuse the generic log. Thanks for the find.

Find 13 of 24 with 2 DNFs on two bike rides, starting on Heirrison Island and down to Vic Park, then after lunch around Carlisle and Cloverdale targetting some solved puzzles.

Really enjoyed the puzzle a while back. First time we have been in the area, ever, so we had to come and look. Took a few laps around for Mrs O to make the find.

TFTC Kyzabra!

Out an about in the hills today, taking a tourist around. First we stopped at Lesmurdie Falls. Then, as we were pretty intent on seeing some kangaroos for her, so we went up to Mundaring Weir, which is always a pretty safe bet. Sure enough, we saw plenty. We even had lunch at the Mundaring Weir Hotel, where I had a burger and a pint - a solid fuel up! We rounded off the day with a journey through the backstreets of Darlington to get to the Zig Zag.

Swung by and grabbed this on the way home, after dropping someone back in Rivervale. Enjoyed some time at the park before getting stuck in a carpark on Orrong for 15 minutes. Cheers Kyzabra! Big Grin

I started this one months ago but got stuck at one of the stages. I put it down then a few days ago gave it a crack with a wild guess. And bingo I was off again. Soon had the numbers and today it was a quick find at GZ.
Loved the puzzle idea and the finals home so a definite fav awarded. TFTC

Our first mystery cache! 100% success rate!!!!

We have a love hate relationship with mystery caches! But we found it!!

13-Apr-19
I’ve had this cache on my “to pick up” list for ages now and today was finally caching in the area. Fave point awarded here! And what an awesome park.

I decided to make the most of this lovely Saturday and head up kewdale / Belmont way to pick up some caches. Nice quick find on this cache, log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC

23-Mar-19
Headed home from the CITO event north of the river and had to swing past Forrestfield so decided to target two puzzle caches along the route.

Thanks for the cache.

Add fav for puzzle.

Day 302 of our 366 day straight challenge.

After getting a DNF this morning, then receiving a call from hubby telling me I'd left my lunch at home, I made the decision to have a hot lunch by the lake and grab this mystery cache.

I'd solved this one months ago, it was one of the first ones I'd solved, after my dad suggested I give it a go. I loved this puzzle! So today I made it to GZ and made a nice quick find after finishing my lunch nearby. TFTC and have a fav for the puzzle and bringing me here for lunch.

29-Jan-19
We have been working on this puzzle for a very long time, hitting many brick walls, and at times even getting in contact with the CO just for a small nudge in the right direction. Well we are happy to say Waltham our patience paid off, and today we performed our signing duties in the log book claiming a smilie. A favourite here, TFTP Kyzabra, lots of fun

27-Jan-19
I came across this puzzle working my way through the Perth Master Puzzler series. What an excellent idea for a puzzle! I got stuck on a couple of questions along the way but managed to figure them out with a bit of guesswork and googling.
We made a quick find at GZ after attending an event this afternoon and picking up a few solved puzzles on our way home. TFTC Kyzabra

17-Nov-18
I must have solved this puzzle last year, because the solved coordinates were on my map. But, I solved it again this morning to refresh my memory of it! It still took me quite a while to get the coordinates, but the puzzling was just as much fun the second time around.

Found the cache on a smoky Perth morning, after getting a haircut nearby. It took me a few circles of the area before I spotted a possible hiding spot, then the cache was soon revealed.
Thanks for a great puzzle cache Smile

03-Nov-18
Well, that took us a while. One particular question. In the end the geospouse said “Did you try ...?” And I said “I’ve tried every @$&”&$! thing but maybe I missed that one - I’ve forgotten. I probably did cos it’s really obvious.” And yes, that was it. Of course. Of course. My defence is that I know nothing about sports and kept getting stuck with the goldfish incident. (I’m not joking!) Anyway, great puzzle, we really enjoyed it. And a quick find on a very muggly day. Tftc

17-Jun-18
I had a great time solving this puzzle. A fantastic idea. I only needed a bit of help with one of the stages. Today we were passing by the area so took the opportunity to make a grab. we had the grandkids with us and they enjoyed navigating to the cache. It didn't take too long to find.

29-Mar-18
Yay! It was there this time. But what a change! Where have all the trees gone? Is that due to the dieback? A few years later, and back in Perth, and this was one that i really wanted to find. But that was before the days of corrected coordinates, so I had to go back through the puzzle again, but I got stuck on a different one this time. Luckily i still had the emails to the CO, which had a very random hint that i used to skip a couple of steps, and get to the end. Thanks.

21-Mar-18
Remember trying to solve this a while a go and got stuck with my colours so put it on the back burner and promptly forgot about it. Had another look last night, as a procrastination manoeuvre to avoid some marking, and low and behold, got stuck at the same point. Was a little more determined this time so tried some things but eventually sent out an sos to the co who pointed out a few important things necessary to get me back in the game. Once the colour issue was sorted, and was not too hard on myself as the subject matter in that instance was definitely not up my alley, finished the rest rather quickly. Amazed at the skill of computer savvy people and really enjoyed finishing off the cache and the quick find at gz.
So relieved when the magic numbers appeared though. All well with the cache.TFTC, Kyzabra. A fave nonetheless.

What a great puzzle, really enjoying it, however, I needed some help as some items for a non-australian are hard to find.

But I did it at the end as well as finding the container today.

Finally solved this one with a lot of help from the co. There are lots of muggles around today but they seem to be busy eating and chatting, so I don't think anyone saw me make a small diversion for the track. TFTC and all your Kyzabra

My brother had solved this one a while back and today we decided to head out and find it. What a nice place this is! TFTC!

20-Jan-18
Went with a smallish group of two cars to hit some more urban caches today. When logging part of the Boddington series, we realised most of our finds were in the same area, so we decided to hit a few other LGA's and this one was on today's list.
This was our second cache of the day and in the area. Love the lake here! That's the great thing about geocaching, you find so many new places to explore! Thanks for the hide!

29-Dec-17
Tftc great hide left trackable

30-Oct-17
Absolutely loved the puzzle for this one. I got stuck a couple of times so I got my dad (who's not normally a geopuzzler) onto it. Q8 though, I unknowingly had the right answer but the wrong spelling so I went on a different tangent but after trying everything I had to get a hint from the CO, and realised my mistake. Q12 had me stumped for a long time, but the CO kindly gave me another hint. Turns out I was on the right track there too to an extent (probably more parallel). I just hadn't gone back far enough.

This is my second puzzle cache, and now I'm nuts for them. Thanks for the entertainment! You've earned yourself a favourite from me for the puzzle

30-Oct-17
Yeah lots of fun on this one. Crazy Daughter put me into some puzzle caches. Found a grounded Magpie so a trip to Kenyana was nxt. At least it didn't poop all over my car like the raven the week before yr The Magpie wasn't a real Cache guardian- he let me catch him.
Cache is about 3m off gz. But who cares just keep swimming, keep swimming

12-Sep-17
Now that the Royal Show is over its time to catch up on my logging as directed by the days caching partner, Pommieparkin2. This cache was our main goal for today as it has been sitting in the solved pile for quite a while now. A nice quick find in a great location to finally earn a smiley for this great puzzle thats well deserving of a fav point. TFTC Kyzabra

12-Sep-17
WebblyWA & I declared yesterday a cache free day to give ourselves time to recover from WAGB2017. Feeling good today so we thought that we would head out for a couple of caches. This long solved puzzle was the main aim for the day, so mission accomplished anything else is a bonus. Dropped a TB. TFTC Kyzabra

08-Sep-17
This was a fantastic puzzle. I got a call, "look up this mystery and have a go". Whilst I was working my way through it, Papillon4506 came in and I gave him the same message. Thoroughly enjoyed it and first of a kind for the puzzle.
Thanks so much for the fun puzzle and oh yes . . . . . . Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.

Found with OzHockeyChick, Geoturtle37 and Pinkpiggy7 on our trip to WA to attend the WA Goes Big 2017 event in Rockingham. This was a quick easy find. The puzzle was the first one like that we have ever done. The others know I don't do mystery caches but they insisted I do this one and it was fantastic fun. A definite favourite from me. Thanks for the cache and thanks for bringing us here.

Thank you! On the way home from an adventure in the hills, I figured I could squeeze in another cache or three. I'd never been to this park before, and very much enjoyed walking around. Once at GZ, the cache was right where I expected.
I had solved this one pretty recently. One step took me forever to figure out, but the rest were alright. A favourite for the effort in setting up this one.

03-Aug-17
I enjoyed solving a similar style of puzzle at home in Adelaide recently (GC16522 'A Shonky Numbers Game'), so this one peaked my interest when I was planning a trip to WA.

I found most of the steps reasonably straightforward although a couple of them had me baffled for a while. It was a great feeling to finally reach the end and learn the final coordinates.

Today I dodged the showers to hunt down a few puzzle caches around Perth, including this one. A quick find, and a fav point from me.

Thanks Kyzabra for the puzzle and the cache.

Not one to normally do mystery cache this one had me intrigued from the start. Was steady going at first until question 8 that I kept going around in circles. Finally contacted the Co who was very helpful in getting me back on track and highlighting the now obvious connection (thank you) after that had the puzzled solved very quickly. With cords in hand a decided to leave home early to retrieve this cache before work. Lovely area for a walk in the early morning just have to avoid all the muggles getting their exercise. Once the muggles left the area it was a quick find. Cache in good condition. Favourite for this cache due to the quiz and the area it took us to.
Kyzabra thanks for the help it has given me the encouragement to try other mystery caches. Tfth.

Needing some excersise, decided to make a quick walk around tomato lake while on my lunch break. With added motivation being a couple of hides along the way

Having solved this puzzles last night with a helpful prod from the co with number 7 ( don't no how I missed that one) managed to grab this one on the second lap of the lake as there were some council worker spraying the weeds while on the first.

Thanks Kyzabra for very enjoyable puzzle and a great walk

Busy bees we are we couldn't make any of the events for the international Geocaching day. After purchasing replacement parts for the Kids trampoline we decided to choose one of the solved puzzles to log today. This one seemed fitting. After spending some time in the area, the kids really enjoy this place, and so do we, daddy got to work and found the cache quite quickly.
We loved solving the puzzle, this is such a clever idea. Thank you some entertainment, and for maintain the cache.

Have been on a bit of a puzzle binge over the last couple of weeks I saw this one and I was intrigued and got off to a flying start in the puzzles until I got to the sixth clue, and there I was stuck for 5 hours, I tried everything and came up empty so in frustration I headed to bed.

The next morning I awoke with new vigor to get this done but I was again coming up empty, with Nan and Gran arriving to look after the Geo-sons I had some more brain power to put to work and it was Nan who finally got us moving again. From there it was smooth sailing to the final page with the location of the cache. Now I just needed to get up to the area to get the find.

Luck was with me today and I stopped by the park to grab the cache after an appointment nearby. A quick find when I got to GZ, TFTC.

Nice puzzle and neat cache.
Definitely spending more time on the puzzle, than fibding a cache at GZ.

09-May-16
Baktrak worked out the puzzle and I helped find it, and feed the birds as well. A willy wagtail has accompanied us throughout our Perth sojourn, (well maybe several of them)and it is so cute the way it tries to lead us away from nests. Here there were some " ugly" faced big wading birds as well.

A fun puzzle reminiscent of some of the IQ tests we used to do in Primary School, but different again. We looked about for a while until I spotted some possible tell-tale cover from the right angle. Having completed the formalities, we took advantage of the facilities nearby to lunch on a couple of sandwiches with the birds.
A minor milestone for me, I see. #2900.
Thanks Kyzabra.

With some help from the CO one two queations and the lateral thinking Geowife, i managed to solve this one back in January. Finally managed to get round to finding it.

Coordinates were spot on.

Thanks for the cache.

This was high on my list to find after solvent ng a little while ago. Plenty of walkers and joggers about by gz is well off those tracks. Noted a slightly out of place arrangement and the container was soon found. Signed and replaced. Fav point. Thanks for the puzzle and hide.

07-Oct-15
Happy to have this great puzzle as my 700th find, definitely a favorite!
I solved it about 4 months ago but I rarely come to this part of Perth, so I took the opportunity to make it to GZ for a quick find this afternoon after dropping off a friend at the airport.
Solved the puzzle in 2 stages: somehow, my (wrong) guess at the 7th question was sending me back to the initial web page, so I thought that I was done and went looking for the cache at a GZ that seemed plausible. After not finding anything there, I made contact with the CO who re-iterated the rules of the game. I then seeked help from my non-geocaching hubby who came up with the right answer, and I had soon solved the rest of the puzzle.
Thank you for an unusual and fun puzzle Kyzabra.

Well that took 11 days, Woohoo, what a sense of accomplishment to have finally solved this puzzle. With help from CO at 7 and then again at 8, I had the right answer just not enough information. Too many nights going to bed with the burning question in my mind "What the heck does that mean" and then again in the morning waking with possible solutions. Will definitely be awarding a fave point when I head out to pick it up on the school holidays. Would love to see What's Next 2 appear on my radar. What next for me?

A fellow cacher pointed us to this one. An interesting version of a puzzle which we soon got the hang of but had to get a prompt part way through and then were away again. Being wet today this was our only cache so headed over and parked close. A short but wet walk and we saw a likely hiding spot when the needle said 10m To go but that's may be due to not letting it settle. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
