Just catching up on the logging, and I see this one has been archived
The area looked like it had been searched, and with no found it logs since November it was not looking hopeful.
Never mind, not mine to find today, but the missing cache still bought me to this place, so thanks for the hide Dominic-Aidan

The crazy Labour Weekend plan is now over. McJandals, NZFlossy & Davidson Clan have joined me for 29 TMGT Caches, the Manawatu Shield & Stickman series then whatever we could find in between. I'd had a DNF here not long ago but I could see now it had been replaced. Cache found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Cheers Dominic-Aidan - TFTC - I’d also like to acknowledge watcache, mar1sa & the TMGT volunteers who have given this trip focus, and all the other COs who have made this trip such an adventure - TFTC ????

With Squirrel Nutcases [9000 Reasons Why](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC89WTE_9000-reasons-why-rotorua) Event on today we knew we'd only needed one reason to venture this way... Davidson Clan, NZFlossy, McJandals and I sought caches all over the place today but this was our first stop and it didn't go so well. I was the only one who needed this cache and with 3 pervious finders I was unable to. Our first stop today was a DNF, a very sad start. I'll have to return after a few more found it logs. If you're driving past I'd appreciate if this one could be checked on. Cheers Dominic-Aidan.
No idea what we missed here but despite a good look by both of us, this eluded us today, I hope it was us and it hasn't gone.

Today we travelled from Tauranga to Whakatane to enjoy a tour to White Islands. Unfortunatily it got cancelled (again), so after hearing this we had to reset our thought and decided to drive to Rotorua and see some volcanic activities overthere. During this travelling day we made quite some finds. Thanks to all the owners for hiding and maintaining them!
What an amazing view! Loved it!

Travelling on what was turning out to be a persistent day of rain meant we didn't stop for many caches along the way. This was a nice quick park n grab which meant we were able to find it without getting soaked. No problems with the cache, thanks
22374 Traveling through New Zealand to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
Today we were went from Rotura to Whaketane, seeing nice places and visiting caches along the road. on both sides. Crossing the road is not always safe.
At arrival we walked through the town to see more beautifull places/shops/streets, a waterfall and a lion. There was also an EC in the middle of the town around a maoiri like area.
Most caches were found quite quickly. A few took more time. Some were wet with waterproof paper, but our stamp and pen did not work that good on such paper when it was wet.
Short detour to see the lake.

Visited today and the sign about the Dabchicks has been removed
--- though the Dabchicks are still on the lake .
Cache replaced about 10m away and there is a new hint.

No luck today...definately missing...the old sign has been replaced by a new one...will need replacing
Came out here a few weeks back and just couldn't find the cache. Decided to wait until I had 'The Mr' with me so we came back today. Looked and looked. Found a few signs... all looking new and shiny. Didn't see any of the spiders noted by other cachers. Either we are looking in the wrong place or the cache has been muggled. Will keep this on my watchlist because I'd love to change the blue face for a smiley.
Quick find with The X-Trailers along a beautiful part of the island. Visiting from Sth Australia enjoying this great place. TFTC
A quick stop on the way home and teaching a young new geocacher how to go about it. She thoroughly loves it so we had a quick grab and she was keen to find another one on the way home. What a beautiful place! The kids loved it and we'll be stopping here for a swim next time.
All quite here tiday so a quick find while looking out for the locals. Mission accomplished, this one is a wrap.TFTC! Blenheim Bear

Very busy here today with boat owners coming and going. Prepared for stealth but found the cache lying on the ground. Signed it quickly and returned it to an appropriate place. Time for lunch now! TFTC.
Cache number 3394 and day 84 of current streak. What I lovely little spot. It was all quiet so I was able to park at GZ. I did a search where I thought it would be but I was wrong. Then it was over to the other side and there it was. I took it out on to the water to enjoy the view as I did the signing before returning it to it's hide. Thank you for the placement.
No Dabchicks were spotted in the signing of this log.

A quick find. My normally reliable pen struggled to mark the waterproof paper. Dropped A TB. TFTC
Found it on the ground away from GZ location
Needs to be weighted so doesn't get blown by the wind

Awesome location.

Unfortunately it has fallen in the lake unable to write on paper because container opened in the lake Put where perhaps it should be
Cache not where it should be, had been in water and washed ashore, was in weed. Log too wet to sign. Have put back in most logical place.
I put a piece of paper in this one as there was no logbook. JDScout are making the most of a long weekend in Rotorua. It isn't the first time we've been in this beautiful area but it is the first time that we have been geocaching.

Thanks for the sign. Easy find once at the Gz. Didn't know about these birds until now, tftc.
No Dabchick seen today except on information board. Thanks for bringing us here.
Lovely little spot- not a great day- but at least it had temporarily stopped raining. Nobody was interested in us today. tftc
Noone at GZ until I got out of my car to grab the cache then I swear the whole village came out to swim, kayak and to annoy the heck out of me. One for another day I'm afraid.
Since i would stop for the night in Rotorua, i had time to make a stop here at this place and find the hidden treasure. After a short moment i was able to sign the log and put another New Zealand cache to my "Found-on-this-awesome-vacation"-list.
From the german visitor a thank you for hiding and maintaining this cache.

Yay a not too difficult a find on our mini caching trip in the area tftc and for showing us a beautiful spot
11/10/16 13:15 GPS said one place. Sign said another. The sign was right. Removed rubbish from the cache. Talked to a swan. Wandered about wondering. Wondered about wandering. Thought I'd better move on before it got all too confusing. Thanks for this, Cheers, GC.
I came here ages ago to this one but there were too many muggles around. Nice and quiet today though. Tftc
Almost gave up, iPhone had me at the nearby feature, clue is more in the title than the hint, thanks Ma & Pa
Pleasant spot. No dabchicks (but a very attractive 'chick' mowing her grass...).
On tour in NZ! To safe time and space we signed with CG3 ( caching girls 3)!

On a mission today to Kawerau and surrounding areas, then through the lakes to Rotorua and then home to Tauranga.
22nd find for me today. After finding a place to park the car, grabbing some food, I made my way down the road to make a semi quick find and the second location I tried.
Beautiful spot, walked out on the jetty to take it in.

Got it. Nice easy cache. Dropped a lil bubba dummy in for a parent trying to geocache in peace.
Found on our road trip from Wellington to Auckland for a wedding. Day five, Wairoa to Rotorua.
Redants found while I was looking for the birds. SL TFTC.

Another find on the great north summer roadtrip with the Banians- a week of travel from Wellington to Auckland via Napier, Wairoa, that secluded road between Wairoa and Rotorua, and almost the Coromandel peninsula
