Day 17 of my fortnight+ road trip up to Brisbane and back to Blue Mountains. One more day left. Many GC challenges achieved, favourited hides visited, random selected geocaches attempted (mostly smileys). A beaut road trip in short. However, like recent geocachers reported: this is also a DNF from me. Checked all the likely suspects. Had to cease my hunt after half an hour, as I gotta head south sooner than later.
We noticed a couple of DNF's on this but stopped to have a look anyway. Unfortunately we couldn't find anything so another DNF from us.
We are on our way to the Capital Geobash Canberra 2024. We didnt get to Warialda as soon as I expected yesterday as the detour to Kwiambah NP for took longer than Id planned for. Beautiful if challenging walk there (for me!) . So we are looking at the Yowie caches in Warialda this morning before heading for Silo Art in Barraba and Gunnedah and then caching to Quirindi today (we hope ).Too good for us today. Thanks 3 Lost Girls for placing and maintaining this cache.
On my way back home from a mega in Rutherglen we stopped here for the cache and signed the log. Tftc 3 Lost Girls

Quick grab by torchlight tonight as we were passing through on our way home. Very cute little hide! Log almost full; room for a few more signatures but may need replacing soon. TFTC!
Day 20, week 4 of 5 weeks holiday.
Rockhampton Queensland to all over South Australia, Victoria, NSW
19 degrees, lots of fog around.
Using the iPad to double check where our navigator is taking us (it’s been taking us down a LOT of dirt roads of late), when I spot a cache coming up ahead. Buttons is interested in what one is doing way out here, a long way from anywhere.
We pull up on the wrong side of the bridge and this is where it gets interesting.
As I get out of the car, there is no internet.
Other than it’s a Micro, I know nothing about this cache.
GPS works barely well enough to allow me to get one dot 4meters away from the other dot.
It’s not of course in my choice of location and Buttons seems a bit stumped as well and heads to the other side of the road for a gander.
GPS keeps trying to take me to the middle of the road. Maybe it’s under the bridge?
Nope nothing there except a really suspicious looking rock, maybe….. No.
Back to the guard rails. Buttons wanders over to me and points out all the loose nuts and bolts around the place.
Maybe? No.
This however takes me further down the bank and when I turn around, what is that funny looking thing under the rock?
Haha Hilarious. Gotta take a pic of the cache.
Log signed, cache put back. Total time taken, 15 mins.
I am quite chagrined later, when I load this up properly and find out the only way it could have been made easier was if the CO was standing there pointing at it.
Ah well, won’t be the first time we go do a cache half cocked, it sure won’t be the last

Fourth time we've tried to get to Dubbo to visit the zoo since the pandemic started. This time we were successful, no border restrictions, no lock downs, nothing was going to stop us....except for the East Coast Low that caused mass flooding up and down the east coast of NSW.
Apologies for the extremely late log, it's normally not this bad.
Good cache!
All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise.
Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **3 Lost Girls**

We're heading north to attend the CacheQld mega at Dayboro and on the way, I'm grabbing a cache in the Northern Tableland counties in which I have yet to make a find ... hence our design to travel from Tamworth to Glen Innes this way.
This was my Gwydir Shire find, one of only two that I could get without making an extra detour to Warialda. No problems making the find but it was a bit scary walking across the bridge (I pulled over on the northern side of the creek, which showed it had copped a fair bit of extra water in the past week) at the same time as a car came by.
Thanks for this Gwydir Shire hide 3 Lost Girls.

Nearly drove past this one as GT37 had one eye on the road and the other watching a couple of lovely large raptors overhead. We made a nice quick find. Thanks for the cache.
thanks for putting out these caches just migrating through for the one day we are heading to Narrabri than Coonamble than Gilgandra than Home, love the idea and creativeness off your cache thanks again
This was unusual, as it wasn't in the usual spot for a bridge!!
After realising my error in assumption, a quick find was made.

PS How many "Sheep Station Creek"'s are there around the country??? I've personally lived in three area with that name. How many more????

A quick find and a welcome refuge in the rain for Genghicat and I. We are on our way north for holidays and have quite enjoyed the trip. Cache is in good condition. Tftc
Second last day of 3 week road trip that included a week at the Clear Water Event in Queanbeyan over Easter. Today we travelled from Tamworth via Warialda with caches being our guides. Thanks to all the COs who placed these caches and showing us around this region of the state.
A FP given.

Travelling back to Brisbane and today, travelling from Tamworth to Inverell via Warialda. Found so many caches and thank you to all CO's who placed them out there in different locations. Found cache and signed log. TFTC
Giving a FP for this cache, as it was a little different to the normal caches I have seen over the last 2 weeks.

A beautiful Sunday morning for cache searching. A pretty easy park and grab. TFTC
I am on my way home from the OZ Geomuster in Morisset.
Today's geocaching adventure has taken me from Willow Tree to Bungara.
This was my another stop along the way for the day.
And I continue to make my way north from Tamworth.
A short search before spotting this one.
Still a good 'smell' coming from the nearby dead animal.
Thanks for the cache.

Quick find. It's that sort of country. Thanks for the hint, GPSr went haywire just as we approached. Thank you 3 Lost Girls
Ha, ha, ha! Loved this one which set the tone for the morning as we move on to Keepit for a couple of days.
We're getting closer to home as we travel south having finished our meandering across northern Australia after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter. Horray - we left 7 months ago, and whilst I enjoy missing the cold weather, I am looking forward to seeing the house and all my friends again.
Thanks for all your caches 3 Lost Girls - they are a credit to you. SL as SG as I often do in small caches to save space.

Nice to be able to break the journey at this point. Found safe tucked away. Thanks 3 Lost Girls.
I used to play a board game called Squatter, in which you played for sheep stations, so I had to stop and find this one and its apt guardian! TFTC, 3 Lost Girls. =^.^=
No difficulty finding this cache as the information provided indicated just where it would be found. We enjoyed finding the cache and the very apt attachment. All was good with the container and log. Signed log quickly and returned it to its hiding place. Thank you to 3 Lost Girls for placing this cache and giving us a reason to stop here.
After finishing work earlier than anticipated i decided to try and find as many caches as i could on my way back to the accommodation. This was the first stop of the afternoon. I went to far down before i retraced my step and made the find. TFTC
Travelling from Melbourne to the Bony Mountain Music Festival, near Warwick, Qld, we picked up some caches. This was one of them. tftc.
Last month as we were heading north we had a DNF on this one, but today on our journey south we stopped again and with more determination we found this cache . So pleased that the 3 Lost Girls checked the hide and it is a goer again. TFTH
No one has been here since October last year, so the sheep have strayed. DNF on 4th January, 2016.
We definitely made this harder then it was but I turned it into an easy find while Diamonjs had a fight with the cobblers pegs. TFTC

Slowly making my way from Brissy to Tumut. So many enormous cobblers pegs. Thank goodness I didn't have a Cavoodle with me - would have spent half a day removing them from the wool. Very cute cache container! Thank you 3 Lost Girls for placing this cache
We are on a road trip heading to the ACT. We are towing our caravan and are enjoying traversing the back road where quite often there is an opportunity to stop and do a cache without being annoying to any other traffic. We have also based ourselves in Cecil Plains and Warialda and done some of the most enjoyable and creative caches we have ever done. We are so impressed with the standard of these caches. [^][^] Thanks to 3 Lost Girls.
Today we did a tour around Tamworth, we visited many parks, lookouts & the wonderful tributes to Country Music of which this town is so famous.
The caches we found were interesting & varied. The cachers of Tamworth should all be proud of their well maintained caches.
