Back to avenge my DNF as it was missing last time. Once again, went away without a smiley. Is it missing again or have I gotten rusty after 3 weeks of lockdown?
I have replaced the cache. Please put back where found as it fits like a glove. I forgot to put a pen or pencil to sign the log. So please bring your own.
The cache has been taken yet again. There is a local busybody who believes the lagoon reserve belongs to her and considers the cache is rubbish and will not allow simple enjoyment.
I have replaced the geocache. I have made it smaller to make it less visible. There is no space for swaps or trackables. You will need to bring a pen or pencil.
No luck today. Checked in every place imaginable. Contacted CO who confirmed we were looking in correct place. Unfortunately we will be on our way home again when it gets replaced so will have to get it next time we are down.
What a lovely spot! We had a nice mid winter walk to this cache, sunny winters day. Missed it the first time but found by the geo husband on a second look. TFTC.
Based on the hint, it seemed obvious where it would be. After a good search I came up empty-handed.
This cache appears to be missing. I will place a replacement over the Labour Day weekend.
Very well hidden! Looked in the same spot three times before... oh it *is* there!!!! Really nice walk to the cache, saw lots of ducks
Heading down to dunnas for the weekend to "cache up" with KJR making time to grab a few I would usually drive past ..quick find nice to stretch the legs .dropped off tb
Has been replaced. I found it visible. It is important that lid is placed back firmly to keep it dry.
I came out to Waikouaiti to eat fish n chips with my Mum at the beach. Then I mentioned there was a cache down this pathway. I've never been down this path before, it's so still and quiet. The cache was full of water and the logbook is saturated. Thanks
Was staying in the area to have Christmas with family and went for a lovely walk around the Lagoon. Just clearing draft posts. Didn't realise how far back they went. Spend more time looking rather than posting. A habit I need to change. Tftc
Couldn’t find it first, but just before giving up we looked at the obvious place and found it. TFTC!
My GPS had a complete hissy fit here for some reason. First it lead me close to GZ but then off in another direction so in the end I ignored it and went for the obvious. Some kids - Mikayla and Bella found and signed it on 19/11 - good for them for not trashing it but it was left out in the open so tucked it away again. Very serene out here today. TFTC # 11,444
Found on the way to the Oamaru Geofest. Stopped at Waikouaiti to get some lunch (and P!nk tickets so had to make sure I had cellphone coverage). A lovely wander around the lagoon and I remember coming here many years ago with my Grandparents who lived close by. TFTC
Nice walk around the lagoon, thanks for bringing us here.
The cache was easy enough to spot but difficult to get our hands on! The last cacher must have had long arms! But with a stick and perseverance we got the log signed.

Those pied stilts are noisy critters. So much from a smallish bird. Pleaser stroll. SL. Tftc
I could not find it this morning when I walked past so it may have been lost. I will replace in a few weeks.
Second attempt at this one. GPS was reasonably off. Pleased to tick this one off TFTC
Found with Granville86a on a lovely weekend for a caching trip to Palmerston. Thanks for your cache placement, we enjoyed some fish and chips from the local where we parked before heading out to claim the find, TFTC
Found with MrandMrsChosen1978. After having a bite to eat in town we headed out along the track and cache was soon found and logbook signed
Walked over from Scotia street. The lagoon on the left had some ice on it. We then continued on around to Dunbarton St before returning. A great little walk.
We had a nice little walk in the sun exploring the area. Saw geese and lots of ice and ducks.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Nice walk along the track to this cache. Started to get very cold now that the sun has gone. I'm going to have to get a good jacket if I'm going to cache during winter. TFTC
Didn't think I could take the dog around here but according to the board its okay so we were off to claim the last one here for the day. Glad to get this one for that reason. TFTC
Out for a wander around our new home at Karitane. A bit of advice here. Choose a day when the tide is in, there's a breeze and it's not too hot, and it won't be as stinky whiffy as today! haha! T4TC!
On our way to the south via Dunedin.
little walk.
Placed a traveller.
Bonne chance

I had a nice walk across the causeway to retrieve this cache.
BTW, the 2 cachers on the 21st hadn't signed the logbook.
Cheers for the cache.
