Logs
My deepest and sincerest apologies for the absolutely woeful logging time for this cache. I currently have a backlog of 460 found it logs from the last three years. Yikes! Obviously, many of these will be difficult to remember and with such a big backlog I simply have to do a default log (other than a few special favourites along the way). I am writing this on the 18th of May 2019, when this log is for 25/08/2016 Thanks to all of the owners and sorry for the pitiful log!
A great lunchtime walk today through this park to find this cache. Just learning about cinnamon fungus so was wary of where I was treading. TFTC
TFTC. Kids have had a ball today. This was our last cache for the day. Great hide
Needing to get a few caches for the day I decided to come to this park and explore on the geobike. Arriving at GZ I spotted some suspicious looking people who had just found the cache. They had replaced the cache. I made the quick find. TFTC
Woohoo it’s my chance to get another souvenir exciting right hahaha. Anyways today I have a break from both work and study for uni so I decided to go and cross a few caches of from this reserve hoping that I would complete the entire reserve. I had a lovely time walking through the reserve whilst testing out my new hiking boots which I bought the other day to take with me to Switzerland to do some hiking (and geocaching) in the alps. Anyway I had a fun time looking for the cache and I loved walking through this reserve which I have rarely been to before. Anyway log was signed and I can’t wait to do some more geocaching today. Thanks for the cache.

Our last full day on holidays on the MP, we spent the arvo caching. Some AWESOME finds were made, so much so that even Muggle Dad was happy to keep going and enjoyed himself. A great arvo had with becca85, neisha7 & chan02. TFTC
Family holiday on the Mornington Penninsula, we made it our goal to grab at least one per day. Some great caches, clever puzzles and wonderful views and places to visit. Found with becca85, chan02 & boo09. TFTC
On holidays in the area with boo09, neisha07 & becca85. We made it out goal to get at least 1 per day. TFTC
Our last day of holidaying on the Mornington Peninsula today. Heading back home tomorrow morning where we have to travel over half an hour to our closest un-found cache so we (chan02, neisha07 & boo09) made sure to grab a handful this arvo. A quick find by one of the Geo-kids. TFTC!
Out 5 the cache in the park. I would recommend riding here is great fun! 100 caches for us now. Very happy!
Just stumbled on the previous comment by chance, and it's not unfair. The details are sketchy now but I wonder if track closure warnings, when they apply, are necessarily posted on all potential routes to this cache. For instance I see a reference to taking "the long way around" to get to it. Still puzzled as to how I ended up seeing such a sign only upon exiting from behind one. I'll eliminate this one as a 'find' anyway, having openly confessed to a likely inadvertent infraction at the time.
With reference to obeying track closures signs it's a pity some cachers disregard the signs which are there to protect the habitat I wonder what other warning signs they don,t care about!!!!If I was the CO of this hide I would be archiving their logs!!Working with Parks permits for my work lets hope the rangers in this reserve don,t remove cachers from this area all because of a few geo cachers that can, t read!!!Wrecking our bush is not worth it for one smiley!!
On a lovely spring day, we came for a morning walk round the Reserve. We've been meaning to come for a while because of the number of caches which sprouted three years or so ago. We attempted and succeeded with five, leaving more for another day. This one was our third, at 11.40 am. Thank you for another cache gruffpuppy. TNLNSL, a T B travelling with us visited.

"An island of relatively undisturbed bushland" showed up on our geo-map more as a treasure island of caches! The weather was perfect, we really enjoyed the time in the bush amongst the flowers, birds and of course the caches cleverly placed taking us to many different areas of the park.
Our thanks to gruffpuppy for bringing us here.

We crossed the main track too tackle the caches on this side. We were soon at the cache site. A quick look and we were signing the log. Put in a swap and left nothing. Safely back again.
Fear I may have disobeyed a track closure warning I didn't see signposted on entry. Nice area here. Thanks for the cache!
After doing "Purple Bunny Paradise" this next one was close by so we enjoyed a nice stroll along the track before stopping for a quick an easy find. It was so peaceful walking along here today and we can't wait to get back to do the rest of the caches here.

Had to take the long way around because of track closures but I finally got there. TFTC.
We found this cache today at 3:50pm as number 17 of 22 on our Hallam to Langwarrin afternoon. Quite a zig zag walk between our last cache and this one but we're now in the south eastern corner and heading north. Thanks from D, H and A B-A.
The sun is shining not a lot of birds singing and it's not raining yet . Found it logged it and left it. Thanks gruffpuppy FTC.
Find #1027
Friday afternoon at the Langwarrin Flora and Fauna Reserve and the weather turned out very nicely for a walk with Geobaby in the stroller. This was my second visit here after a recent night cache and lovely to see this great park in daylight. The third of seven finds in total here and nine for the day. No problems with the find at this one in another clever hiding spot. Made some small swaps for the little one, picked up the Holiday Bear TB (though he was still logged in another cache), signed log and visited my personal TB. Thanks for the cache gruffpuppy. As we were walking away form this one we passed another lone walker and I noticed he was purposefully headed to the cache location. Great to meet you BushwalkingBandit. I haven't bumped into too many cachers in the wild.

After having taken a group of students for a bushwalk down to Bushrangers Bay, i decided to grab a few more caches in this reserve as it was a lovely afternoon. The bush smelt wonderful after the recent rain and the colours were vibrant. As i approached GZ i passed a man pushing his daughter in a pram, i found the cache and the man came back, it was Annoying Tarbit and his geobub grabbing a few caches. After intro and chat they continued on and i signed the log. Good to meet another cacher on the track. Thanks gruffpuppy for another cache in this lovely reserve. Cheers, BWbandit.
Out for an early morning walk ( a big one) with Hanna4d in an effort to get them to their first milestone of 100 finds.
Two local labradors, one cream, on brown, adopted us, and even though dogs are not allowed in the reserve they accompanied us all the way around the reserve today. Every time there was a choice of path to take, they'd wait for us until we'd chosen one.
Came upon GZ and a very quick search revealed the cache. Gav made the find while I was debating whether I should look somewhere else.
Thanks gruffpuppy, we enjoyed the walk and most importantly, your caches today

Hi,
Out for a early morning cache run with the Chief. What a great spot for geocaching. Even with a bit of dodgy ankle we got this one. As we came out of the bush at the last cash, we found a couple of new friends. Two Labs. One chocolate brown the other more like the one from UP. They followed and stayed with us for the next 5 or so Km's.
Thanks for the fun.

This was the last traditional in the park for us TFTC and bringing us here nice place we'll be back for the mystery another time
A very pleasant bike ride around the reserve - weather, ideal. Thanks for the series nOwOrries and gruffpuppy and day1976. Here's me thinking they were all by the same cacher.
We were starting to get tired by the time we found this cache, as long way between each cache. This too was an easy find and we were soon on our way again.

Out riding our bikes having a good day, then on our way to this cache i got stung by a bee on the nape of my neck. After stopping to get the sting out we carried on to GZ and promptly found the cache. TFTC
Having a nice walk in the woods today. No suprises with this one. Just had to watch for a couple of muggles as I signed the log.

Definitely snake country (and weather) but fortunately none seen today
Many thanx to Gruffpuppy for the cache (and the map which proved invaluable)

Catching up on some very late logs after a busy fireworks festive season.
Out for a day’s caching with The Drovers making the most of the cooler weather. We made the mistake of trying to go straight here from Purple Bunny Paradise and made it a lot harder than it should have been. Once on the path we soon had the cache in hand and the log now contains our names.
Many thanks gruffpuppy for bringing us back to an area we always love to revisit.

Being a cooler day than the last 2, we went caching around nearby suburbs with Team Crackers.
After finding a nearby cache, we lost our way back to the main path, and took the long way to GZ.
The cache was located quickly, and we made our way back to the geo-cruiser.
Many thanks for placing this cache, gruffpuppy, for us and others to find.

this train was a bit harder to ride along, but the exercise was as enjoyable as finding the cache.
We looked in the wrong spot at first, but it didn't take long to hone in on the cache's actual hiding space.
TNLN & signed the log. Thanks for the cache

The third of four caches on the list to find in the park this evening, and fortunately the trails wasn't closed off due to quarantine.
Looked in the wrong spot for all of 20 seconds before finding the cache in this nice little spot.

Not good when you are walking the track in the dark and the GPS decides to give up the ghost. It really wasn't the night to leave my phone at work. Mr MoorooducRobbos didn't have the app loaded and had limited life left on his phone. We were racing the clock to get the app downloaded and find the cache. Lucky for us the cache was easily located and we were off home to complete the logging exercise. A lesson learnt we hope. TFTC
Decided to come for a walk through this magic location after work and pick up a few new (and older) caches that I hadn't gotten around to finding on earlier trips.
Another quick find on the way through.
Thanks for placing this cache gruffpuppy

Found it! Back again to finish the series after a quick visit about 8 months ago and reconnoitre a Walkabouter's walk set for 2 weeks time. This was the nicest part of the park. TFTC SL
This was my final find and time was against me as I only had a small window this morning.
After a little confusion I was on the right path and able to find my way to GZ. No issues locating the hide, and with the log signed it was back to the car and civilisation.
Thanks to gruffpuppy for this and the other caches, it was great to explore different parts of the reserve.

Out given my ankle a bit of exercise so I've decided to find a few caches.
No.2 of my unfound in this park, well I'm still hobbling along thinking to myself was this really a good idea ???
Well yes & no is the answer. I have to exercise so geocaching is a good way to do it but gee my ankle gets sore at times.
Well I found my way around to GZ, I must say it is good taking a slow walk around here it really is beautiful
I found the cache, signed the log and replaced
Off I go to the next one
THANK YOU FOR THIS HIDE

On approach I spotted to likely hides. My first guess was correct and I quickly signed the log as time is not on my side. Two to go. This park is a lot bigger than I thought. Tftc tnln sl

Found as Nicnax to the tune of Papa Grouch grumbling about how far we walked. I think ScifiRulz was the only one of us that wasn't scared of the dark....or she hid it very well. We had heaps of fun and it was a great scary night out. TFTC

This one was a bit of a walk from the last one I did, 800m as the crow flies and quite a bit longer as the path took several bends! Found a good way to get there using the map on my GPSr - would have been fun without the map! Got to GZ and found the cache after a brief hunt, then spent several minutes trying to get it out of its hide, really had to reach and pull out with fingers only which took a bit of doing! Signed and returned, thanks to gruffpuppy for this one.
Found @ 4:45pm, find # 2846.
I was on my way home from down south and I was passing by these ones, so I pulled in, parked the car and I was off on my bike along the trails to each of the GZs and at each one I was able to make a quick find then it was back one the trail.
Thanks to gruffpuppy for placing these caches.

Ahh bugger!, looked in all the obvious spots, lots of geotrails telling me I was in the right area, so sadly I think it may have gone walk-a-bout
Out for a night run with geobuddies RonBill and Beck. I'd done most of the caches in this reserve but came for the night cache and a couple of new ones placed in the last few months.
