The new nano arrived and today I went up to replace it.

Unfortunately the entire cache was gone. The reflector, cache and everything.

As a result, I am archiving this because it was a unique container.

Thanks for all the great logs!

All I can say is WOW! Almost parked on this cache. I was trying to think out the box for this one and thought the drain was a perfect place for it because of the water and the "reflection" LOL how wrong was I.

We were here for ages trying to work this one out. I did end up touching the cache but I never took any notice because I thought it was normal. haha. Headed over to the ST sign because we thought it was there. Almost being midnight we were being as quite was we could be but then a man with a big German Shepard came over and yelled at us. Told us where the cache was and told us to move along. So I would avoid this cache late at night if you could. We weren't even making any noise.

VERY CLEVER CACHE. Awarded it a favourite point for creativity.
Thanks cccritter7

Geeez. We would have loved to have claimed a smiley here but the muggles working on a house over the road were having a veeeerrrry long smoko which stopped us from making the grab. They were watching us almost every second, and, as it was getting late we reluctantly headed home but we'll be back to pick this one up. Thanks cccritter7 We'll give it a fav when we get back to sign the log.

TFTC. Field position log. Full log to follow.

We spent a nice night with friends at Morpeth, so found a couple of caches before we headed home.
Pulled up on GZ , looked around high & low. Thought maybe a reflection in water at the grate but that didn't help. Decided it was going to be a DNF so turned our caravan & car around to decided we had seen another option. Bingo, now we can log our find.
This definitely deserves a favourite point.
Thanks cccritter7

Found at 2:24 PM GAFF1. Gosh - I couldn't believe it!!! I have been wanting to find a cache like this ever since I saw a Groundspeak video about geocaching in early 2004 where they had a very similar hide, but it was in the middle of a very busy road on a bridge!! Loved this one and it gets a favourite, because it being the first of its type that we have done.
thanks also for the history of the area - we too have links to the Napoleonic wars in Port Macquarie - just fascinating!
Thanks cccritter7.

Our 8120th overall find.

After DNFing this one last month I saw it had a new log so today I completed this one as a drive by. I didn't need to exit the car.

Thanks cccritter7 for the cache.

Well, it always pays to read the cache Title, as Cookie was trusting the GPS. Soon found the cache, and have since found something I could use hide my own Wink Hey Peter was here after us (sorry about the late logging.)
TNLN Wink TFTC cccritter7 - hope all going well, as I had hoped to get on down as well for the Event.

1950 GAFF1 After things had to be done in Wingham were done it was time to head South with some family and friend. On a circuitous route I stopped to see what James was reflecting on. While I had certain type of hide in mind I was looking not far away for a few minutes, but on heading back to the car to reflect on it myself my headlight showed up something I hadn't investigated yet. And sure enough, a newish log, dry, but don't remember an o-ring, or maybe it never had one. Muggle factor: zero.
Another for the Night Caching elective book mark, and helping to keep the GeoStreak going Smile
Brought through for mileage: 3 Bros, Aussie Nomad coin, Aust Light Houses, BEAGLE BIXBY, B 2 B ingot, BROWN BEAR 15 TB, Fishing Bell TB, Homer J TB, Iconic Bridges, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, PAP, RAINBOW BEARS 8 TB, Trakabulldog geocoins and trackable shirt.

We arrived at the area thinking the cache was down the hill a little. Then the GPS settled and said we were about 1 m from it. We looked around and we were misled by thoughts of a cache on the Central Coast a few years ago. Mrs Shifter stepped back and noticed something, thought about the name of the cache, looked a bit closer at the object and knew she had found the cache container.
We had to wait for a couple of cars to go around the corner before we revealed the container.
This is a great hide, thanks cccritter7

This was a clever hide! Chuck spotted where it would be based on the cache name as we were driving to GZ. We parked the car, he ran across and soon had the cache in hand. And a special thrill of signing a blank log (we could pretend we were FTF anyway lol!)

TFTC Cccritter - very clever!

Well I found this one without too many issues but the problem I had was that the inner container didn't have a log sheet in it and needs one. I didn't have anything of suitable size to be able to replace it so it's a DNF until I can actually sign that log.

Thanks anyway cccritter7.

As soon as i arrived i spotted something that stood out and had a link to the cache name so i checked it out and there was the cache.
Very clever hide and a first for me...Well done.
Was just a little worried about all the houses around and how many eyes could be watching without ya knowing.

Sneaky little hide! You need to think outside the square with DT caches. Loved it! Very creative

How much trouble did you have to go to to put the cache in there?

30-Aug-13
After spending a lovely day in Morpeth we decided to finish off with a few caches. I knew where this one was on approach. Muggles were hanging out near GZ but we parked the car very close by to protect us and they were none the wiser. A great hide and obvious to my eye but maybe not so much a muggles Wink

#3205

After being injured at the event on the weekend and needing some medical attention, I was in Morpeth a little early for my appointment so a quick drive by of this cache was in order to gain a souvenir for the day. Wasn't expecting a hide like this, very well done.

TFTC cccritter7 Great cache

Was late when I turned up here after work so was dark and luckily only one muggle car went past. I did not have the gpsr with me so was relying on the phone. After wandering across the street a couple of times noticed something not quite right and sure enough it was the cache. Nice hide thanks ccriter7 for a great hide.

I just wanted to come back and put a favourite on this cache.
This is probably the best cache container I have seen ( found 135 )
Again WELL DONE ccritter7

We were out for a spot of caching today, and this was on the list. After arriving and searching a little and coming up with nothing, I had to PAF, the cache was quickly located, i must say it is a different way of hiding something. Great camo, the only thing to be worry about is where it is located, not for cachers being reckless, but for Muggles being reckless in there cars, i wouldnt say its a kid friendly cache for being so close to the road. But top makrs for the effort gone into it and the idea. Thanks for the cache.

Love this cache quick but Unique well placed tftc

What a Great cache i came out to this spot today to fill in my 12th day for the 31 day challenge and i had an expectation as to what this one might be but upon arriving at GZ i wasn't greeted by what i was expecting instead i had something even better. this is defiantly a unique cache and its defiantly worthy of a fave point. well done cccritter on a great cache.

All I can say is

WOW.

This is one of the best caches containers I have seen so far.

Finally my first FTF.
8.30pm I arrived at GZ looking around thinking where on earth would this be? I got out of the car and there it was in under 30 seconds! What a clever cache and the clue was perfect. Even better was an empty log sheet.
