One of the joys of being on holidays is to be able to take an early morning geo-walk and today, I did a nice guided tour of the Isle of Capri.

A quick find here. There's really only one possibility here assuming the coords are correct (which of course they are) ... and there the cache was.

A top view here, indeed the best of the morning, so thanks for bringing me here and to the Isle of Capri Aussie Liahona.

The goal for today was to try and find a few geocaches around the Gold Coast in order to claim my 1000th find! This incredible geocache was on the list and let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed! I loved it as well as the location! TFTC! All was well with this geocache.

Although it was a rainy day, I decided to go and try and find a few caches anyway. I think the rain kept muggles at bay to some extent. Coast was clear so the cache was quickly found. TFTC, Biggles.

Sorry, that I publish a uniformly post, but I cant remember all of them.

Thanks to all the Owner and all my Australian friends for this great time. I miss Australia...

TFTC, quick park and grab at the Gold Coasts smallest beach lol.

Today we decided to tackle some caches we had heard about around the Ashmore-Benowa area, so I selected around 30 caches and suggested to Team Benders and her Geo Partner that we join forces for the day and escape the city heat and head for the coast.

A few practicing fishermen around the area today, so we had to be careful. Within nice reach.

Log signed & replaced again. Found at 5.00pm on 4th March 2017. TFTC, Clamsmell.

Quick easy find

Out with RoddyC to find a few caches in the area.
Mrs RoddyC and I wandered over to GZ.
A lovely view from here, boats and Surfers
I quickly located the cache and soon it was in hand.
Signed the log and returned to where we found it.

The coordinates had us about 7m off, but thankfully the hint got us back on track. An extraction tool would've been very handy; this ended up breaking our pen! Haha Thanks for bringing us to another nice, previously unknown spot to us. Sneaky Squirrels

Verey trick

Great cache

I was out caching today with Willyduck and T-Dog. We pulled up into this area and decamped from the vehicle to begin our search. After looking in a few wrong places, i read the hint which lead me to the more likely hiding spot. We were all staring rather blankly at the structure, until one of us decided to touch it...'could it be be'?...yes it is! How clever. In all my time caching i havent seen one of these before. A favourite point from me. SL TFTC

Found this one a little hard to swallow!!! I was always told as a kid that you should never swallow it because it doesn't digest.... Gee I would along with a large population of kids... Have a belly full! Nice one! Tftc

Ingenious hide definitely need extraction tool thank goodness the hand bag with the tweezers inside came in handy.

Tricky place to be subtle, especially with a tricky cache, hopefully we weren't spotted.
All good here, great little spot thanks.

I spotted the cache as soon as I arrived at the area but then I had to use a bit of stealth to removed it while being watched from the beach. I moved a way to extract the log and I was frightened that I would lose parts of it in the sand. Luckily I managed to get it all assembled again and back in place without attracting attention.

Staying on the gold coast for a girls weekend away, so while most of them went off shopping or for facials etc, I hired a bike for the day and went caching instead.
Nice spot, watched the boats go by for a while.
