The very last of the night. We had been to a disabled cache prior to this one and found it so decided to have a quick stop off and see whether this one was in place.
After less than a minute there was the familiar cry of 'found it'. We added some log paper and called it a night.

Caching buddies: BoatieTim and leafotwind
Easy find especially because there are no Muggles around at this time of the night! Sad to see this one gone. It's a nice spot!

A basic tenet of geocaching is that the cache log needs to be signed to record a find, as per [**here.**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#logging ) At the moment it would seem to be somewhat difficult to meet that requirement in regard to this cache.
Prompt attention by cache owners to any log that indicates anything could be amiss is greatly appreciated by all seekers. The guideline advises; *"if you can't check/fix it straight away then Disable it till you can."* see [**here.**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance)
Please respond to this situation by **31st May** to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and indicating a date when you believe the situation will be resolved.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [**Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [**Temporarily Disable and Enable**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

The logbook on this one was full 6 finders ago. Perhaps a reviewer can disable until the CO gets a chance to fix.
I love these old and elegant bandstands Pity they are so seldom used in that way now as music played on.brass instruments is very stirring. A quick find here TFTC dpkcacher
Easy find today as there wasn't anyone around. Managed to squeeze our caching group name on this log. Thanks for the cache dpkcacher.
An easy find for the day, after attending a nearby meet! Thanks dpkcacher for the cache.
(BTW, the log is full... I had real issues trying to sign, but managed to squeeze myself and the team on)

'Why did the chicken cross the road?' - 'Because he had to expand his search radius.'

Luckily I found this one the first place I looked. Great sunrise this morning. The logbook was full so found a small space and squeezed in BM+S.
Thanks dpkcacher for the cache.

Only had time for one quick cache on our way home from holidays, and this was to be it. It feels a bit weird to let the little one have a run on the grass when there's so much traffic steaming by on either side, but hey, no-one got hurt!
Cache was a quick grab when I saw something out of place (GPS co-ords were perfect!), but it took me a moment to free the log! Anyway, log is chockas, but I found room next to someone else. Thanks for bringing me here, but now it's time to go home.

Find # 4755
Found with Tyred n Cranky.
After walking around watching some of the Criterium Bicycle races from around the circuit, we ventured down to the Bandstand to watch the Elite Mens race. This is always a great plate to watch from.
when the time was right and no muggles around or looking our way. I was able to make a relative quick grab and sign.

Find No. 1937. Found with FUF009 at 7.30pm.
While watching the Criterium Bicycle Events in Ballarat we made our way to this Grandstand so we could get a better view of the riders going up and then down the street. We knew there was a cache nearby on the grandstand but with so many muggles around we didn't have a chance for a good look.
Finally the muggles moved on and the Grandstand was free of people so we quickly located the cache, and was able to sign the log and put it back before the next group came along.
With the area being so busy with the Criterium being held we didn't think we had a chance to grab this one and were quite pleased that we could walk away with a smilie.

So after attending movie night - Giff Event at the Lake View Hotel, I then went out on a cache hunt to find a few more while I was visiting the area, this was one that I looked for.
Once in the GZ area, this one didn't take long to locate, after retrieving the log which seemed a bit tricky to get out, it was signed and replaced and I was on my way.
**Thanks to dpkcacher for placing this cache.**

After attending the CITO it was time to find a few more caches and this cache was next on my list.
Being a Sunday and a long weekend there were lots of people enjoying some free time.
Found a park and wandered across to the bandstand and after a short hunt I moved away to check on an area and found nothing there but on my return I found what I was looking for so a simple retrieve the log, sign return and I was off to the next. Thanks dpkcacher for placing and looking after this cache.
Arrived in town this afternoon on our road trip and thought we'd check out the main road. Beautiful gardens and monuments - what a lovely old town. Quick find TFTC
My son was competing in the Victorian Band’s Championship today so I had a few hours to fill in around Sturt Street.
After a brisk walk to warm me up I enjoyed sitting in this beautiful bandstand while I signed the log. I did have to loiter around for about 15 minutes while a muggle consumed a coffee and a muffin on the other side of the seating.
Thank you dpkcacher for showing me this area.

Half a day to kill in Ballarat so thought some caching was needed. Used to come to this bandstand regularly for lunch together and had no idea there was a cache there. Thanks for bringing us back here to reminisce. Tftc
After a bit of a walk around the bandstand I spied where this little cache was hiding. After taking a seat, I had the log signed and replaced. I was surprised that there was hardly any muggles at the cafes. Cigc. Tftc
The Sewer Rats snuck over the boarder in to Mexico, with the Hologram,s.
We did a bit of sight seeing and caching.
Lucky for us there were no muggles in the bandstand.

Decided to head up the highway for a weekend away in ballarat. As the wife was ordering me a morning coffee I decided to pay this cache a visit.
Very clever little thing. Geohubby and I are out grabbing a few smilies. Tftc really beautiful view at night.
Found on my second atempt with not many muggles around this time. Thanx for the hide
Found it with fleabag- while walking around the city streets. Thanks for the cache.
Caught the train to Ballarat with Muttley! and made a pre donner find. Thanks to dpkcacher for placing this cache.
The GeoFamily headed off to Ballarat for a mini-holiday over the Easter weekend, and to explore more of the area than what we normally see when we're up this way (usually to go to Sovereign Hill).
Day two of our mini-holiday took us first to the Tangled Maze at Creswick, and then up and down Sturt Street. This area was muggle free fortunately, as the GeoKids raced to find the cache and were not too discreet when they found it!
Log signed and all replaced as found.

Our little family was in Ballarat for a couple of days and couldn't resist a cache hunt. This one proved to be a quick and easy search with the cache in hand within a minute or so. Being Easter Friday, there were very few muggles around. The geodaughters always love making a find; thanks for this one.
A week of work road trip Ballarat, Creswick, Bendigo, Echuca, Cobram, Yarrawonga, Wangaratta, Wodonga Gundagai, Yass, Canberra, Cooma, Cann river and Bemm river areas we put some kms on the car. Thanks for all the caches we done over the week with aqau.

TFTC. We were in Ballarat for the nearby St Patrick's Day event at the pub across the road. Running early we did what a cacher does when there is a nearby cache. The find was relatively easy as Linda spotted it while I was sitting . Quick sign and return.
Heard on the weekend at the Yarrowee CITO that this cache was back in play . So a quick stop after work to sign the log to make my find from July last year official. Hopefully this one will stay muggle free from now on. Tftc
Today I needed to drive my Daughter to Ballarat for the day then hang around and wait for her to take her home again many hours later. What am I to do with my time, cache of course. So with a call to Neville_devil and Ausfox; last night I arranged a couple of caching buddies and we were good to go.
Some of the areas around town were quite busy this evening but surprising it was nice and quiet in this spot which made the searching a lot easier. Asufox; spotted this really quickly. We were able to make our marks on log and be on our way.
Thank you dpkcacher for the hide

I was surprisingly quite spot here today so were able to search to make a quick find of the cache.

Out on a balmy evening after dinner with CPWanderer & hevwalker.
Found the cache quicker than retrieving and replacing the log which required a bit of concentration.

After some maintenance from our hard working council Queen Alexandra is looking young and beautiful again.
This cache is now up and running again and the Queen is looking positively young and sprightly.

Can i count this as i find as i have known the location for quite a while but have only just signed up as premium? Shame to have another good spot muggled. Look forward to signing the log when it is back up and running.
The council did some work and inadvertently muggled this cache.
Up and running again ASAP.

In Ballarat on a Rotary International activity with a few minutes on the parking meter and a cache nearby. Off we set only to find something that has been broken since sometime after early February - where's the CO? Created and left a very temporary cache log (slip of paper) with our log information on it and placed it between remains and what they are attached to.
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** Needs urgent TLC in an understatement.
Our thanks to dpkcacher for the cache.

This cache is in need of owner attention. **It needs to be temporarily disabled by the owner** until they have an opportunity to check on the cache and take whatever action is necessary.
Seekers would appreciate a log to write on and a container to hold it please.

As a couple of other cachers have noted, this cache is in dire need of repair. A claim on the basis of finding the remaining affixed part! TNLN (obviously), couldn't SL, TFT(1/2)C!
12:25:00 PM. Thought we would be muggled out on this one but with everone busy across the road the better half made the find before I even sat down. Log was signed and returned. We then enjoyed the shade while deciding where to go next. Thanks dpkcacher for placing this cache.
We were in Ballarat for a caching adventure with some other cachers. After lunch Geodaughter and I headed off to do some other caches around the main street. It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and the shops had closed so the street was pretty quiet and we had the bandstand to ourselves. Geodaughter did the search and soon had it in hand and the log signed. Thanks for a lovely walk and a fun find
Just a note to cache owner. The council have an upgrade planned. Pressure washing and repainting to be done
Found on my second visit. On my first visit here a few weeks ago I wasn't able to search since there was a group of teens in the bandstand, right on top of the cache in fact. Even had I known exactly where it was, it would have been impossible to retrieve it without attracting some *very* unwanted attention! It did, however, give me a great opportunity to consume the information at the nearby memorial to Pompey Elliott which was very interesting indeed! Fast forward to today... The bandstand was empty, so it wasn't too long before I spotted it. There were lots of muggles driving up and down Sturt Street, but not near GZ so an inconspicuous retrieval was easy this time. Thanks for the sneaky hide dpkcacher, and the journey taken to get there!
dgtlcache and I travelled nearly 16 000K and found this cache as a reward. Thanks for this cache.
