In Geelong to get a few caches with Happy Pants. This would have been the first in this series for me, but Happy Pants & I searched and felt and we even had our heads in uncomfortable places, but to no avail. Hope to get another crack at this one sometime. Would like to do the series.
After searching the gz for 10 minutes we couldn't spot a thing bar a few cobwebs, this was our first dnf in Geelong and after 20 or so finds we were pretty detirmined to find it, but in the end it eluded us. It was getting busy with muggles passing and too hot so we called it a day and will return again another time to try again. Thanks anyway Na'wal.
Could not see this one even with four young eager cachers helping me. Also didn't want to try too long due to possible muggle sightings and feeling a bit dodgy looking too closely at this item. Well hid. Will try again another day
On my way to the Christmas events with 6Hinemoa2. We had a great days caching and socialising with all the other cachers from near and far. A lot of laughs and thankfully the rain didn't dampen the enthusiasm of any of us.
Had tried for this once before but was muggled out. Today was a success and the log signed. Glad to cross off another one in the Captain Planet series.
Thanks Micheal

It was wet and muddy here this morning and raining steadily. I checked a place and sure enough first go I had my hand on it.
Thanks Na'wal

We were in the area and decided to return to see if we could find this cache that had eluded us on our first visit and we really cannot understand why we missed it the first time we were here!! Had to use some stealth and patience due to some muggle activity at times. Great to get a smiley for this one at last!
TFTC Na'wal - we did enjoy the challenge of finding this well hidden cache even if it took 2 visits!!

The God was bouncing all over the place for this one, so I had to rely on some George senses and today they were ok. TFTC
This brings to a close our time-travelling in memory lane: Captain Planet was certainly one of our children's favourite shows.
Thank you for reminding us of the good old times!
Once again, a nice and appropriate hide within the theme.

After yesterdays disaster retrieving another Na'wal cache, I was glad this was an easy find. I loved the themed log. The baggie was a too big and had been shoved in, but I tidied it a little. TNLN.
Thinking of getting back into the Captain Planet series so we did this one because we were also working on the monopoly series and corio in the monopoly was close by. Cute contain it really matched the theme. TFTC
Quick find while out completing a new series in the area. Exploring with Sharkiefan and LouiseAnn. Love the camo with this cache. TFTC
We picked this cache up at 11:46am. We had driven past this one on the way into the park, it was too hard to drive past on the way back out, so we stopped and picked it up. It took up a little while to find.
It was a big day for Bexta, Sharkiefan and I tracking down the caches from the Monopoly series. This was our first non-series cache for the day. Thanks for the cache Na'wal. I really liked the work that has gone into this cool container. I used to watch this series as a child.

A diversion afyer finding the nearby monopoly cache with LouiseAnn and Bexta. Tftc
Captain Planet! He's our Hero!
So much time i have spent watching that show!
Arrived here after the nearby event and was able to locate the cache with enough stealth not to isturb the nearby crossing lady's.
A quick sign of the log and its now time for work!
Thanks Na'wal for the cache

Easy find. Good safe hide. Neat cache. TFTC. Angus the great GeoWestie assisted by grey nomad carer Lis Brown on a journey from Shepparton Vic to Geelong Vic then Coolah and Port Stephens in NSW and back to Shepparton before going to Tasmania.
After a DNF here some time ago (wow, almost a year - how time flies!), we had another attempt today. Not sure what we were on last time as it took all of 2.3 seconds for the cache to be located and retrieved today!
Thanks Na'wal
jandaw's 347th find

Just been at Corio Village and kids and I decided what caches are near by.. One round the corner I hope no police scene us... I had to use the hint for quickness and I soon felt it... TFTC
Quick find today, especially with GeoRob's keys. Yet another benefit of being in the fire brigade!
It was an early morning start caching with abl973. It sure was cool at this time of day, but it turned out to be a nice quick find getting down on all fours for a look. Captain Planet was a little after my time, but I certainly liked the message.
Thanks to Na'wal for the cache.
Thanks to Na'wal for the cache.
A blustery cold winters day won't hold me back from coming out this way for a spot of caching and stopping here to have a look for this cache which was found with accurate co-ords and in good condition in a location that was fitting for the cache....this things do stand out don't they?
Thanks Na'wal for making this an enjoyable day exploring.

Happy Caching!
Happy Caching!
Found this cache today on a major caching adventure to find 50 caches in 1 day that were all at least 1km apart from each other to meet the requirements for a NZ challenge cache that I am doing presently. This was one of the caches that I found and that helped me successfully reach that goal. Thanks a lot to dbelco, krankitkiwi and na'wal and all other cache owners for hiding the caches that helped me reach this goal. This was a relatively quick find though I looked most places before getting it. This was find number 45 for the day. Signed log today but didn't swap anything.
Thanks for the cache Na'wal.
Thanks for the cache Na'wal.
Out for the day with Mrs Crackers, Alansee and Micaparamedic caching around Geelong.
A fantastic day was had by all with many different hides and views.
Thanks again Na'wal,

Out in the area caching today, as usual had a great day and enjoyed the hunt. The find gave a sense of satisfaction and achievement. Many thanks Na'wal for placing this cache.
Mrs Crackers joined Alansee, Mrs Coffee and Micaparamedic for a days caching adventure around northern Geelong.
This is the last in this mine series for us and the second last cache of the day.
Thanks but once more for the cache.

Found with Team Crackers, The Coffees and micaparamedic. I am still none the wiser about the Captain, but at least we managed to avoid the muggles.
Found 1:36:00 PM, in the company of Muzza during our monthly caching expedition fro May.
TNLN, thanks Na'wal.

I was out and about with Biggles Bear starting in Lara and covering parts of Geelong. No problems locating this one.
Thanks to Na'wal for the cache.

Had a quick look for this cache this am but had to leave due to muggle neaby watching us - am sure he wonder what we were up too!!
TFTC Na'wal that we hope to find one day - perhaps at the weekend??

Found with Trailrunning on another Monday caching adventure, We were both had time off work so this gave us the opportunity for a big cache run, we headed out to the You Yangs and then headed towards Geelong, a good time was had with some interesting places visited. Thanks Na'wal for the cache.
Having taken the day off I'd planned to grab some caches in the Geelong North area, and was happy to hear that Rebel had also taken half a day off. Meeting at the end of the Eastern Freeway we headed over the Bolte and Westgate to gain access to the rich rewards of an un-visted and un-plundered area. We had a great day of caching with my tally 60 Finds / 2 DNF's. We will be back next week to do it all over again, as I've solved all the puzzles in the Geelong area and it's not time to collect. Eric made the grab here.
A nice clever cache I have no doubt the area could get quite busy during weekdays. TFTC
Found this one whilst on our way to Torquay from bentleigh to use our night away that we got as an engagement present. We stopped at the service station nearby so I had a quick check to see if there was a cache nearby. Only 195 metres to this one so decided to pick it up. This did have us stumped for a few minutes but once I was on the right angle we made the tricky find. Nice cache. Tftc.
Muggles working on a nearby road, required plenty of stealth at night time for this cache! Was a fun cache! Thanks!
After completing a walk along part of the rail trail, I managed a few more find while heading back to Werribee.
Thanks for this one....all was well....

I am slowly collecting this series.
I really no nothing about the story but am happy to collect a smilie face for the caches.
No muggles meant a quick signing of the log and get away without arousing interest.

Found @ 6:59pm, find # 2769.
Biggles1024 and I headed down to Geelong for the day to attend the Christmas Smorgasbord of events, while picking up our unfound caches on the way and in between events.
We found this one on the way home, as we approached GZ we knew exactly where we need to go and the cache was found as quick as that.
Thanks to Na'wal for placing this cache.

Find #787
Stemicmitsar and I again teamed up for a trip to Geelong. Attending as many of the five Xmas events being held there was the purpose of our trip. Whilst in Geelong we thought we'd have a grab a few more of the local caches. No need for a GPSr here. The most likely hiding spot soon gave up the cache and with the log signed, we were on our way. TFTC

Found this cache as part of my caching trip with JAB's to Victoria's Mornington Pennisula and Geelong area. The 29 hours claimed 158 GC caches and 2 GCA trig points. Some great caches were found and the southern beaches were a highlight.

After enjoying a lovely bbq dinner at the nearby park, and establishing an approximate location of the cache, we made a quick stop on our way out. Miss 13 spotted it from the car, and miss 10 retrieved it just as smartly. Thanks for the fun!
Decided to try for a few caches after dog obedience in Elcho Park. First up and a quick find. TNLN. TFTC Na'wal

A quick grab on a day that the weather ended up beating us.
We had planned a few caches for the afternoon but the wind and rain had us back home a lot earlier than expected. One cache for the day.

Picked a quiet time to drop by and pick this cache up. All in good condition. TFTC
Another quick drive by. There was no one around to hamper retrieval , so the find was quick.
Enjoyed a nice lunch in the club also.

A nice drive by. Took a while to retrieve while waiting for the very diligent gardener to clean up around the cache site. Patience prevailed in the end. Thanks to Na'wal for this cache and the series.
Have a feeling we were looking in the right general area but efforts were severely hampered by the steady flow of cars in and out and muggles on the nearby footpath. One to come back for at a quieter time of day.
Nice quiet Saturday, kid free, thought wed do a couple of caches. Nice easy find, good hide. TFTC.

There were no tight spots, or muggles today, as we wheeled towards the GZ, where we made a quick find and headed off towards the supermarket for weekly provisions.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Na'wal.

Had a quick look for this on a previous occasion. Can't imagine why I didn't find it, but was very grateful for the fact today after spending nearly 3 hours on an unsuccessful FTF attempt down the peninsula and still no cache to log for my 366 day calendar
Had been saving this cache as one of the few, relatively simple "local" caches for a day when I was pushed for time and needed a find. Unfortunately today was that day!
However, it is good to have another smiley on the map and to have made a quick find this time!
Thanks Na'wal!
