DNF with barb2e on a day of "East of Murrumbateman" caching. Had a DNF here previously and left a needs maintenance log, but there still isn't a cache. TFTC
Had a good dig around, even with the hint we had no luck. Suggest it’s probably missing
Given the hint, I reckon this one is gone. Checked the atar pickets and fence in between to either side of it, but no cache.

A quick easy find. First for our day out geocaching now that we can leave the ACT and go into NSW. TFTC jordy2000
OCW *Throsbyonchurch* and *Little Pather*. Running around finding some caches. Off camping for Easter holidays and enjoying roaming around Canberra and its back blocks. My appologies for the generic boring log.

Catching up on some very late logs.
Day 2 of our planned assault on Canberra with the same group consisting of The Drovers, Phetlern, Micaparamedic,
Alansee GoodLook, and ourselves.
We had another busy but very enjoyable day chasing series caches and happily we found all we were looking for with no DNF's
We all had a fantastic day and would like to write more but as we have said when you do so many in such a short time it is hard to remember individual hides.
This in no means takes away from our appreciation to the CO's for all the effort, time and expense they have done to let us find so many caches.
As per the other two days we signed as "The Mob" to save room in the log books.
Many thanks /// for the hides and the fun.
Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks jordy2000 (F=101 H=18) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

Did this cache with a group who logged as THE MOB. All in all we were appreciative of the CO's efforts in putting them out. Apologies for the generic log but what can one do?
We stamped the logs as "The Mob" to save space in the logs - today there were 6 teams caching together: Team Crackers, The Drovers, Phetlern, Alansee, the lovely micaparamedic and myself.
Most of the cache finds were straight forward, yet a couple stumped us. A few were located where it was difficult to safely pull the car off of the road, but we made it work with some creative maneuvers.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip that was planned at the Clear Waters mega was able to occur.
Adelaide, Victoria, NSW and Canberra - a decent drive, filled with various caching activities including Adventure Labs.
Several days caching with the awesome Team Crackers, gorgeous The Drovers, fab Phetlern, cool Alansee, and the lovely micaparamedic.
We laughed, sang to a vast variety of songs and chatted - almost non-stop! [^] We piled into cars and had such a fun time. Despite the light showers, windy conditions at times, we also had sunny days to enjoy caching in.
A sincere thanks to jordy2000 for placing these caches, including the enjoyable little series.

TFTC Great day for caching today, thanks to the CO for placing and maintaining this cache.
While in the area collecting data for my AL, Nibletricecakes and I decided to grab a few caches to clear the area out. Took a few minutes to find it, but soon the cache was in our hand and signed. A great sky tonight as well.
Thank you
Thank you
An icy afternoon to be out grabbing caches. I thought spring was supposed to be sprung! Checked a few possibilities before onieferret had the cache in hand. TFTC
Found on a drive from Canberra as we headed out toward Gundaroo, Murrumbateman and Yass for some country air and to support the local communities. TFTC

CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Streak day 69
Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

Out caching with Mockingjay5 on a lovely autumn day. A good chance to see some of the nearby towns. TFTC
This used to be my only unfound cache in the whole vicinity of Gundaroo and surrounding towns, until the new Animal Series was put in of course!
I DNF'd this a long while back, of course I had to go looking for it the one time it's gone missing in 7 years! But luckily my persistant logs reminded the CO to replace it, so I am extremely thankful he did!
Has taken me a while to get back here, but today it was a quick find, exactly where I expected it to be! Phew! Grabbed it whilst working today, delivering to some rural towns. There was a motorcycle rally today and the park in Gundaroo was the lunch stop / turn around point. So it took me about 5 minutes to turn onto the main street at one point because the line of motorcycles coming down the road was so long! I then had to pee, and the only public toilet was at the park! So had to make my way through the crowd! A bit of an experience, especially for what is usually a small town!
Thanks jordy, great to tick this one off after a long wait!

This auspicious date had been marked on our calendar for some time so we were particularly pleased to get some direction where we could achieve some high numbers for this once in 4 year occasion. We teamed up with local geocacher Albida for a relaxed but unrelenting day of finding caches. Lovely scenery and great hides. Our thanks to Albida and to jordy2000 for adding to our enjoyment of the area.
A few days caching in the ACT and surrounds with Steeba and The Rats, another trip away like countless others that we have done before. We got the dates, we did the planning, we worked out a route. But there was one thing that we could not plan for; the weather.
The caches were excellent. The company faultless. The weather; atrocious. High winds, cold, sleet, rain, mush, icy, snow, we had it all! But we endured, and had a fantastic time regardless. Did I mention that it was cold? Bone chillingly cold. I am not sure my fingers have as yet recovered! Some roads were even closed due to snow, curtailing our route and resulting in some last-minute changes.
Please forgive the boiler-plate log, I assure you it is no reflection on the caching experience of our few days away. Thank you to all cache owners for their hides.
Cheers

A very chilly couple of days in and around the ACT with The Rats and Hoojar- most of the time the temperature didn't peak above 4 degrees! Amongst the sleet, rain, wind and cold however we made plenty of finds on mainly a number of power trails. TFTC!
Headed out for a caching run with steeba and Hoojar that had a bit of everything. These caching runs are planned months in advance and to-date have been perfect. This trip was no different – except for the influence of the WEATHER. A weekend in the Canberra hills that had howling winds, driving rain, sleet, hail, snow, frozen body parts slippery icy tracks, closed roads and temps that never got higher than 6 deg by day and were subzero all night, but alas we had a great boys weekend caching.
Apologises for the generic log but it doesn’t detract from the caching fun, except for the WEATHER which played a major part in our weekend. Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides.

Attending the Clear Water 2019 mega this Easter in Queanbeyan. Found with a group catchers and logged as "Lucky9" Thanks for the series and for placing it jordy2000.
Out exploring with my MEGA team Lucky9. Having so many people searching for caches isn't the norm for me; I'm a solo bike cacher when I'm at home. Generally I try to find a cache a day where other life commitments allow. At this event, it was 6 full on days, caching from day break until sunset, and occasionally into darkness. Thanks for this hide.
Accompanied with my geo-friends travelling along from Sutton to Gundaroo for caching day. Found and logged as "Lucky9". Thanks jordy2000 for placing this cache.

Perfect weather to be out and about, in the Yass valley, with au.fait, where we found ourselves amongst caches bearing names of CO's from near and far. We were hoping to learn a little more about the CO's themselves, but that was not to be. This is the type of cache we really enjoy finding - a cache with a story, it gets a FP from us.
Thanks to 'jordy2000' for placing & maintaining this cache for players to find.

Found So another huge bunch of ALL7 caches came out and again IamCoust and I decided to grab these sooner rather than later and made plans for another night run.
There is always pros and cons to things. Pros to night run are - limited traffic, the pretty night sky, the moon and no stealth required. The cons - those who do drive by sometimes stop to see if you're ok, searching is limited to a torch light beam, you drive slower in the dark as wildlife might be on the road and sometimes it gets very chilly. But all went well and without incident and it took us about 4hrs which meant by the time I dropped IamCoust home and got into bed myself it was sometime after 3am. Ssssssooooo tiiiiirrreddddd.... zzz zzz zzz
As this was one cache that I hadn't picked up yet and we were driving by, we stopped to grab it. This cache and others in town will be about to get a bit more traffic now there is a power trail nearby. Tftc jordy2000!!!
