Out finding some local caches with the grandchildren while visiting from up north. Hot day today. Sneaky hide....took us awhile but eventually found. The smell of the seaweed was very strong today.... Thanks for the cache.
#639- Had a child free day.. so came out today with a friend to do some caching.
beautiful day today! lots of people out and about, but we found it pretty quickly. TFTC

Brilliant hide. Took a couple of photos while sitting there.. for muggles benefit.. and mine - beautiful views. Tftc
Great camo and had to try and stay very stealthy with this one with a couple of muggles just hanging about nearby.
Was sitting near GZ when along cycled the cache owners who asked how I was getting on. I pointed out that the log was full and we chatted for a few minutes also noting that a little cache creep had occurred. TFTC
Had a go on my first day of geocaching but didn't really know what I was looking for. Had a think and guessed what the cache might be and found it almost immediately this time around. No room left in the log but managed to squeeze a small one in the margin. Great container. TFTC.
No luck for me here today. Lots of muggles even though it was reasonably early on Sunday morning. I'll bring the muggle hubbie with me next time - he's great at finding the caches for me!
Hard to find somewhere to sign as THE LOG IS FULL
Remedial action will be appreciated by future finders I'm sure

Spent a wee bit of time looking for something amiss before checking the GPS once again. Slight shift in position was useful.
Thankful I had seen one of these before. Hard to find somewhere to sign as THE LOG IS FULL and there is no room for any other to be slipped in.

Glad I've seen one's like this before. Lol. Needs new log book. Nice day and view. Tftc
I am lost! I know what I need to look for but there are so many flat rocks!
Sissy and i decided to tackle this one as i had tried to find it before but couldnt locate. trick is not to overcomplicate it too much. Alas, after what seemed ages digging around in rocks with a torch sissy just suddenly spotted it. very cool cache! TFTC!
I have been here several times looking for this elusive cache. I knew what I was looking for, but wasn't spotting it. Finally went back with a previous finder and he couldn't find it either - it had moved from where he found it. So the search began yet again, with a few asking if we had lost something. I am not good with this and attempted to leave several times. So long time later, I finally laid eyes on the cache container. Signed as yet another curious muggle arrived. A very interesting conversation ensued - mainly about him and his native India. Glad I can tick this one off. Thanks for the cache.
Knew what we were looking for but couldn't find it. Finally did just as we were about to leave. Thanks for the great cache!
Awesome find on a windy day. Got some encouragement from locals - great camouflage
Found this awhile ago but forgot to log, 2nd attempt, was staring right at it before figuring out it was the cache, tftc
This one was so well hidden, I was staring at it for ages then realised what it was after 10 minutes of looking so awesome
Looked straight at it but disregarded due to awesome camouflage. Thanks suraya Nikita for doing the work (:
I found it in good condition....have seen these before but to the untrained eye its difficult to find ...had a new cacher with me and she was a tad daunted and unable to find but I showed her ...its awesome was the reply thanks for the cache :):):)
Awesome camo, kept us looking for a while. A few muggles around but hopefully we kept it cool
Another all day mission with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker, this time focusing on the other side of Tauranga. I had just finished logging the all the caches we had found in Papamoa when I looked at the map and thought why not have a crack at the other side as well!
A early start as we were on the road at 4.30am as we needed to be back not to late otherwise we'd be in the dog box when we got back home. Another fantastic day out with lots of the usual laughter and this time the weather was much better behaved. In total over 80 finds, with only a couple of DNF's and we got back in time to stay out of the dog boxes, just!
We signed the log books with Hi1, an acronym of our caching handles. A big thanks to all the CO's for all the placements, and for taking us to places we hadn't been before.
We had a little bit of luck here as we guessed what we might be looking for and sure enough we spotted the cache using a the hint item and a bit of logic. A nice hide.

Out and about trying to clear off another chunk of Tauranga geocaches. Again accompanied by HKCB and Iammrwalker, this seems to becoming a habit. Early start, head to Tauranga, cache the whole day, say we will be home early, end up being home later and then grovelling out of the dog box. This time we set off from Hamilton at 4.30am to try and get more caching done before we had to turn around. We seem to be enjoying this so much we are planning a return visit again soon. Signed our logs as "HI1" as an acronym of our respective caching names. A great, laugh filled day that was thoroughly enjoyed.
No problems here for us today. Could be a trickly little guy though. Thanks for the cache.

This was one of nearly eighty Geocaches I found in the company of HKCB and 11hpg11, we signed the log HI1, an anachronism made up of the first initials of our Geocaching handles to save on log space. This was our second trip to the Bay of Plenty. A few weeks ago we conquered The Mount and Papamoa and were back today on another infamous mad mission. We left Hamilton at 4:30 am and I was back at home in time to read my two boys a story and tuck them into bed at 7:30pm. We had a fun day exploring the area and got to see lots of parts of the area we hadn’t experienced before. A big thanks to all the cache owners who took the time and effort to place so many high quality and well maintained hides. Thanks also to HKCB for organising the day and driving. I think it was fitting to undertake these trips during the ‘Geocaching Road trip’ Groundspeak promotion, as it typified all those things that make a good road trip, most importantly good company. There were plenty of laughs and some memorable shenanigans.
I was expecting this to take some time but thankfully we spotted the container pretty quickly having seen others like it before.

A wet & wild day today, didn't have any luck with this one. Try again another day.
Found this eventually after two looks! Six kids and three adults all looking and dad finally found it. Yay
