Late night taxi service was in operation for a friend, meant I drove past this location. TFTC and another completed dot day. Need to come across more often and do a bit of a raid
Well we found the log. On the ground under a bush. Never mind we fossicked around the camper and found a useful container. Log signed container returned to the spot we figured it should be. TFTC!!!
It was here but it has been taken or destroyed. We found a few of the treasures that must have been inside all around the monument.
Parked across the road and walked through the scrub to this one (through the back way)..a good hide, thanks for the cache!
Thanks for your placement. Have been saving this one for the right day to complete my quest to find a cache on each calendar day of the year. Getting close now. A few more this week then the end of September will do it. This is a busy intersection now, but no problems with getting the cache as it's very secure from prying eyes from vehicles. Container had some water in it which was easily drained. The log was a little damp as the snap lock wasn't snapped. Should be all good. TFTC
Heading home from a long weekend visiting friends (new recruits they are now too!!) couldn't leave without this one - we had driven past it every day we were here 'joking' about when to stop for it - rounded us off to an even 20 find for the weekend to depart on - left symbol of peace and friendship - we will return for more next time!!
During our trip through NZ we found a lot of interesting places and caches of course.
Thanks to all owners for hiding and leading us to some special places.

Heading home after an enjoyable catch up with family in the Bay, and of course visiting some interesting, unique and different caches. First stop just out of town and quickly found. TFTC
Over this way for an early morning meeting before heading back to Hamilton, so what better way to make use of an early start than a few dot day caches,
Parked in a possible didgy spot but got away with it as it was still early, soon had the cache in hand and was sailing onto the next

Stopped by to clean up these new caches off our nice map. Each time we go away, someone drops some more. We were on our way to the event at Curry Planet and by the time we got to GZ, there was a convoy forming. Squirrel Nutcase and Seagnoid.
Thanks Geckoh. Interesting bit of history, which we have often passed, but never stopped to read. We were looking forward to seeing you at the event. You were missed.

[green] still on my way back from the Auckland Mega, stopping off in Rotorua for my mum's 75 birthday. Met up with Squirrel Nutcase and we are off to the Space event in Tauranga!. On the way up we met Spiderhouse and so we travelled in convoy (yeah. A convoy of... two). Found the boat prow here okay, had trouble finding the rest of the waka. Cache was an easy find, Spiderhouse had it before I even got there!
Found at 8.40pm after being asked by a passing vehicle 'are you ok?' Haha, good find in the end
Having recently returned from sunny, Southern California; I've been keen to get out and clean up some newer cache placements. It's so awesome to have daylight saving again, but I've been too exhausted to enjoy it... Decided to take the long way home from school... Through Tauranga...
Have had this cache in my sights since the August Cache Challenge. I've wanted to stop before but always had other cache business to take care of. No pressure today; I quickly located the cache in between passing motorists. TFTC.

5634. On our way from Papamoa to Taupo. Stopped to do this one on the way. Nice hide. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
We're off to Taupo for the weekend - stopped for this one on the way; a great placement. We sure do like the camouflage - very nice indeed. TFTC.
12.05pm - Had to go to Tauranga to pack some glass into container for export. Well while passing had to do a quick stop with a find with my fellow non cacher worker. SLTFTC
Back from holiday and I find that cachers have been busy in the area. Off out for a drive this afternoon and picked up few new ones in the area. Learnt a lot more about these wakas or vaakas as called in Rarotonga on our holiday. Picked up TB TFTC
My eyes must be painted on,i pass through this roundabout reasonably regularly & have not noticed this memorial & like it's not small. Thanks Geckoh, the cache was straight forward & I have learnt something for today.
An easy find, thanks, even without the spoiler photo which I chose not to look at til I got home. I had no trouble with parking - just drove up the curb and parked right by it. Decided to leave the TB there for another person. Three to go this month. TFTC.
'31 Days of Geocaching' Day 27: I went caching on my own for the first time today as Mr nzk was out of town on business. After attending a meeting in the Pyes Pa area, I decided to have a look for this one on the way home. I also parked on the roadside a little further along and walked back to GZ. The co-ords led me in a slightly different direction than the hint, so I went with the hint and made a quick find. Did my best to retrieve, sign log and return the cache to it's hiding place without being spotted by passing traffic. Hopefully the camera gave me a legitimate reason to be there. Thanks Geckoh! An interesting memorial and a great view from here. Left Golf Ball TB.
FTF! Having a sick day off work has its advantages. 1. It allows you to watch uninterrupted footage of the Loius Viutton Final race (awesome work Team NZ), 2. It allows you to solve some of those pesky puzzle cache you havent bothered with before. 3. It allows you time to shoot out to a newly posted listing while others are at work - haha and 4. It allows you recuperation time after all this. Will be off to work tomorrow for a break!
Found this about an hour after the email notification came in. Thanks for bringing me to this new place I havent had time to stop and look at. <))))>
