After getting some FTF's yesterday Gwawr still had the caching bug so we went for a wander through Homestead Ridge picking up a few we had not got.Thanks for the cache OOH YEH

TaurusSix and I were up in the Rockingham and Mandurah areas today running errands . However there is always time for geocaching as well. We honed in on a couple of Adventure Labs in the area and while collecting those we picked up a couple of traditional geocaches as well .

This was the second of them in a beautiful suburban bush setting. The rain was a bit heavier now so did not want to linger too much. Left the track and took the short bush bash to gz, glad we were collecting the geocache in July and not the warmer , snakey months . Soon had a good sized cache container in hand . We will definitely be back to do more caches in this area when time permits. Thanks for the cache OOH YEH .

Spending a week or so around the west coast before my next trip. TFTC.

An early start today before it gets to warm . I geodog Opal as company and she is enjoying all the different places to smell . Tftc

Nice big tub with lots of swappables for kids to enjoy! Great find! Easy to locate and hidden as found!

Got as close as we could along the path and then worked our way past the spider webs and spikes to get to GZ, initial searching turned up nothing and SirFancy expanded out a bit and claimed the find.

Stayed a bit closer to home tonight cleaning up some caches around Kwinana.
A coolish and clear night that was muggle free for the most part.
I ended the night with 8 finds & 1 DNF.

Out with Kapelula today to continue cleaning up our map around Kwinana. After dnf this last fortnight we saw maintenance had been completed (thanks) so we headed this way to get the little blue face off our map. Easy find. Nice size cache. Tfth

Looks like another Ooh Yeh cache evading us. Must have looked at every burnt tree around GZ and beyond with no luck. Will revisit another day.

Out for an afternoon run, decided that rather than run around in a random circle I'll I'll use geocaches to determine my path.

An odd looking building...the cache was on the ground, placed back into position.

Eventually found the right tree and there was the cache on the ground in front. Must have tumbled from its elevated location. Signed log and replaced according to description. Tftc, ooh yeh

Out early grabbing some caches before the forecast rain and storm hits.
Saw it lying out in the open on the ground, signed log and replaced as per hint. Contents a bit damp.

Parked near the access gate, and walked to GZ.

Headed out today to clear more of the local areas. Despite the rain on and off it was a Pleasent day out side with minimal niggles to get in the way of the finds. TFTH TFTC

Found during my morning walk with my brother's pup whom I've been dogsitting over the last few weeks. She didn't really know what to think with all this roaming around in the bush, but I think she liked it!

I've lived in the area for a while but only just realised this little band of bush was here. It was a lovely walk and I'm very thankful to OOH_YEH for placing this cache to get me out here. Sadly I didn't have time to grab them all, so hopefully I will be back soon! Cheers and TFTC.

I was initially scared off by two big bulldogs, so I parked further away and found a different gate to access the area. Thank you for the cache OOH YEH.

As all the undergrowth has been burnt away it is easy to negotiate a bike into here. Left a shoe. TFTC.

Moved a couple of metres as there isnt many places to hide a cache after the burn off.

Cache is now a small black screwtop container. Until the bush grows back there isnt many hiding spots for a regular container

Just had a burn off and the cache has been burnt to nothing. Will replace after it stops smouldering and I can find a new hiding spot.

Was out nearby today and decided to swing past here and finally grab this cache.
I followed the well worn track in and made quick find of the well sized cache.
Probably good timing as the container was not locked shut with the lid loose on.
Log signed, and replaced safe and sound.

Had a day off school today, so my family (jasenjanine) & I went for a drive & we found some caches along the way... Me & my little brother had fun swapping some stuff here! TFTC OOH YEH

With both of the kids home today, we decided we would spend our morning finding a few caches... We pulled up close to GZ & were thinking about jumping the gate, until we noticed the footpath not far! We followed it until we ran out of path, then followed the geo-trail to GZ

DangerMouse09 was quickly onto this one, whilst I was stilled manoeuvring Master 2 over the prickly bushes I encountered TFTC OOH YEH... It was great to find this well stocked cache, the kids came prepared with swaps & we took a TB too!

We had a spare hour and decided to head to this area to grab some smiley faces . A nice variety of container which were not too far from our chosen parking spots. Spot on coordinates too .

On an after-dentist-visit caching run while in the area. After a bad start with long fruitless searches, it finished up with nice quick finds for the rest of the afternoon. After a nice stroll through the bush it was wonderful to find a BIG cache! After long strings of mostly micros it it such a nice change to find something this size - and well stocked, too! Took nothing but left a couple of travellers that I had been struggling to find any homes for.

Another day of dragging muggle partner north so I can do some caching [^]. All adding up and getting me closer to my 1000th find though not quite there yet .

I let muggle partner sit this one out as I took our handheld uhf with me in case of any mishaps (as I seem to have more later in a long caching day )

Silly me did what most of us do and follow the direct route the gps is telling us. So I had more bush bashing than was necessay
When arriving near gz gps decided to send me a few metres in different directions until it settled a few minutes later.
Let partner know all was well and cache found before taking the easier (well it was shorter bush bashing of only about 15m) way out .

Traded a big toy man for a dinky car

Find 26/34 for todays effort and 6 dnf (tho some may be missing or suffering from major cache creep )

we then moved onto Medina to find a few more.
A good variety of cache hides, and we enjoyed the day.
