Difficult place for a cache, proximity to houses in remote location. Had a good run but going bye byes now.
For some reason I thought one of the two remaining gaps in my calendar was yesterday so I headed out after work to pick up a nearby cache. It wasn't...
Today was one of the two remaining gaps in my calendar, so after a day working at home (where the geomonsters were surprisingly well behaved), I headed out to the other nearby cache I'd been leaving for such an occasion and was nice to turn this one into a smiley.
Thanks!!

The log book is full (I managed to scribble my name on it) and the container was out in the open (the magnet component must be missing). This one could do with a little maintenance.
Well, that’s unlike me. I found this one straight away. I usually never find one like this or it takes me forever.

Back to right a wrong....
I had spent a considerable amount of time at GZ last time I was here. 1MinnieMoo assured she could help me with it.
We pulled up and we went to an area very familiar to me. Yoink. 1MinnieMoo had the cache in hand. I swear on a stack of bibles.. I checked and re-checked that area.. looking for just that kind of container... so I don't know what funniness is going on
In either case, the cache was found and signed. The logbook is chokka. I put a "FS" somewhere on the sheet. Glad to have this Frown off my map. TFTC Slow Puncture and Outback Di

Had a good look around, but to no avail. Read the previous finder's log and think that this one might have gone to the gods.

Having grabbed the other Country Drive cache, I next headed here and had to pull over just slightly up the street and wait for a few minutes as the residents of the house opposite just pulled up home and had to drive the car along their long driveway and bring the bins in, and were wondering why a car would be pulled over down this cul de sac.
Once they were gone, I began my search.
The cache was found on the ground and the logbook was full - the magnet does not seem to be very effective any longer. I replaced the cache in the most likely spot based on where I found the cache on the ground.
Photo of hide sent to co so they can check on it.
Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture (adopted from Outback Di).

Had a good old look around for this one but unfortunately had no luck tracking it down.
We had to go back back twice to find it and ofcourse the muggle husband finds it straight away. Still chuckling. Tftc

A different place to hide one of these. Took us a few minutes to spot. From my vantage point it was completely invisible but from the road it's an out in the open sort of hide which only a geocacher would spot!
Out on a jaunt at Dayboro whilst my doggy is having a haircut ! This was a tricky hide! I almost gave up but one last look revealed the hide. . Tftc!
Having a few days around Dayboro collecting the geoart, other puzzles and some traditional caches as well. Seeing lots of wonderful countryside and meeting some locals as we venture around the rural roads. Thanks to all the COs who have placed caches in the Dayboro area and for sharing this beautiful place with us. Team JAD was signed on the logs for: joojoo57, Aussie Liahona and DiamonJs.
Out and about with Aussie Liahona and joojoo57 for a few days of collecting the local art works. I am sorry for the generic logs but I do appreciate the work the CO's have put in to the work and more love some of the scenery we have been taken to. TFTC
Haha. Sneaky! Cache was spotted when we’d pretty much looked everywhere else. Log is full. We tried to replace it but didn’t have the right size (hint hint, nudge nudge Mr Slow Puncture). Thanks for adopting this cache and keeping it going so more people will be tempted to take a drive out here in the beautiful countryside.
Continuing our little excursion out to geosaurus country, we came across this one along our way.
Unusual placement but hidden well. Looked in several wrong spots before the idea of this possibility dawned on us. Quiet edge of the road here.

Very sneaky. Almost gave up in the rain but found the smallest we’ve ever seen
Out and about with Mrs JAT and barbb, enjoying a nice country drive. This cache was SO sneaky. I can't believe we managed to find the little devil. TFTC Slow Puncture and Outback Di
Mrs Just a Trifle was out for a fun day of caching with Raynersinoz and barbbowman and found ourselves finding a nice little group of caches, including the last of the Geosaurus caches to complete the geoart
We eventually located the sneaky little cache and with our name added to the log sheet, we continued on ouy way.
Thank you Slow Puncture (LJCC) for creating the earth cache for everyone to enjoy

With not much to do today and my time house sitting in the region coming to an end I headed out today to find a 'close to home' cache and find the remaining Geosauraus caches. And a few others caches along the way.
I parked reasonably close to this one and made my to GZ. I found the cache after a short search but needed to go back to the car to retrieve a tool to extract the cache. And with a full log sheet I added my name over a very faded name. All good here.
Thanks for cache.

Apparently I suck today at geocaching. I was more worried about the view to houses. I decided to move on. TFTH.
Beautiful day for a drive. Searched this spot three times before finding the sneaky blighter - signed log next to Outback Di's name as it is totally full. Deserves a favourite point for being so crafty. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
**# 17468** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another perfect warm winter day to finish the geoart at Dayboro.
Not many muggles around and a good quick find here.
Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture (LJCC),

I looked for 5 or 10 minutes as I couldn't get my GPS to settle but i kept going back to a common place. I was just ready to give up and thought I could see something that was a little bit sus and yes that is all I want. Tiny but can't sign the log, no space and pen won't mark on that paper. Photo taken for proof. TFTC
Another quick find while out with Rhobocacher, she checked this one was where it was last time then let me spot it! Sneaky hide!
Took a bit of searching, but there was only so many places that a cache could be hidden here so it eventually gave itself up. TFTC!

#2 A Country Drive was transferred from Outback Di to user Slow Puncture (LJCC)
Out for a country drive with NurseyJulie. We parked the car and began our search. Our phones didnt like the power lines, so were not much assistance in narrowing down the search area. We searched and searched without luck. We expanded our search without luck. We read previous logs. They revealed nothing of assistance. Eventually, NurseyJulie located the cache. It was somewhere we had both looked at and ignored several times. :s It really blended in well with its surroundings. It was a relief to finally add our names to the log. TFTC
As we parked the car we tried to make sense of the clue. The GPS was bounding everywhere with the power lines. We searched every nook and cranny. Hmm.. Checking logs and we still could not see it.. Then I thought...I wonder if this is it on here. Sure enough it moved and it was the container. Very fitting this and blended in so well! TFTC Outback Di

Hi there Outback Di. We found your cache "#2 A Country Drive" at 10:56:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11478.

Today was just the sort of day for a sight seeing tour around some of the roads in the area. As this series was named A Country Drive we thought that it would be a great way to start to the day.
In our travels we found 32 (and DNF'd 1).
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Tiny?! It was a great find. Half the challenge was trying to write so small. Lol. TFTC.
Very tiny container blended in well!! Did have to search a number of other spots before latching onto this one. TFTC

We gave up on this one , decided to go round the corner to get another one first. That worked very well because on the way back we stopped and ... voila ! I did not know how tiny tiny can eventually be ! thanks
Expanding the limits of my boundary of finds, I decided to pick up Country Drives today. 6 out of 7 ain't bad. TFTC Outback Di.
Today, we planned to do a few series in the outskirt suburbs of Brisbane.
We started with The Beatles Trail, then had A Country Drive, and finished with the
Ooooo Shiny run. We found the 11 Beatles and the final puzzle, had 1 DNF in the Country,
found all in the Ooooo Shiny, and picked up a few others while in the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed all the great hides, while driving around such a beautiful part of Queensland.
This cache was found after a short search, and in good condition.
A great little series, with good co-ords.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Outback Di, for us and others to find.

Decided to give this Country Drive trail a go today while we were out this way today. This one took us ages to find. In the end it turned out that the co-ordinates were spot on despite us looking in a very wide circle. TNLNSL TFTC
My three month Brisbane adventure is continuing. Day 34, Redcliffe.
Today is much cooler, and not as humid as it could be. I've loaded up my 4WD with GeoSchnauzers, ice water and geocaching kit. I'm off for a day of walks for the GeoSchnauzers with geocaching thrown in. I'm heading towards Burpengary today - I'm looking forward to a day of views, walks, and caches.
No 10 of 12 today. Thanks, Outback Di. Here's another well-hidden cache, with dog-walking space, and views on the way in and out. Very nice.

Passing through the Burpengary area today and I had enough time to grab a cache or two on the way. A short search and the little fellow was soon in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.
Thanks for taking me on an enjoyable drive in the country.

The pony came and checked out what I was doing.
After attending jewellery party nearby drove up this road to see if it had changed since the time I was here about a year ago.
Why not grab these at the same time.

Fantastic! So small it tricked us. Even after geoboy picked it up he still didn't think it was one. Nice hide!!!
Loved the clever positioning of this one and very sorry to let Team LJCC know that our 11 year old daughter opened it of course, I'm sure it's only because they loosened it for her??!! [:o)] Anyway we signed Team LJCC on the log for the appropriate date and then signed our own name today. We're all about helping those less fortunate than ourselves [:o)] On a serious note, I do think that perhaps the closure of the container is threaded hence the previous difficulty and I'm sure that without the aforementioned intervention Miss Geo 11 would also have had difficulty. A very tricky placement though and not obvious even though it's partially in plain sight. Tftc this one was good for both a smile and some thought!
Hi Di
Sorry to hit you with this, but I couldn't undo the container.
I hope you don't get to it only to find that I have loosened it! That would be embarrassing

Yay! 2nd time lucky. I was here the night these were released, and would have been FTF, except the dogs barking in the dead of night spooked me (not the dogs, but the possible appearance of their owners!), so I left it for another time.
Today, I returned, under leaden skies, and continued to be frustrated, until I read the hiunt - again. Okay! There it is!
Problem! Couldn't get the cache apart no matter how hard I tried. I took a pic of it in case the CO wants evidence
TFTC, O-Di! Finally

Last of the series we got to today. Must come back for the other when the rural fire men/women aren't so plentiful. Thanks for the fun!
