Spent the morning caching around Yass, before heading towards Canberra.
Thanks to all the CO's for a entertaining day. All caches found quickly and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, team.wallace, for us and others to find.

An early morning caching mission to Yass to top up my find numbers for the day. Cache easily found. TFTC.

After I checked into the motel time for dinner. I had a rough idea of how many I needed to get the 120, but was not confident and so did a few extra just in case (thankfully I did). Headed to the pub and had dinner and then wandered around some caches in town with a torch and found all except one (D4) - so was happy with that.
Up the hill in the dark and a park in the drive way. Two caches in the obvious hide, but I signed the one that doesn't have the stuffed in.

This was a bit weird - we found two separate caches at gz - an eclipse tin and a tube.
Found at 11:03 AM GAFF1.
Well - Yass continues to disappoint. Found the container, but there was no log sheet in it. A pity as the drive to this area is fantastic, but then to have a let down just makes you feel a bit flat - and it is by no means the only instance let me tell you. If it was then we wouldn't say anything at all iabout the situation in our logs.
Thanks team.wallace

No log sheet - a piece of paper has been put in the tube, but that will get saturated very quickly.
Found with Smittengranny and Gliss! venturing up this way to pick up caches in the area. Beautiful day to be out and about and probably the last good weather for awhile. TFTC
Second day in Yass. A great clear and chilly morning. Early Sunday is always a good time for caching and quick progress was made.

Almost completely dark by now - car lights on , but just couldn't resist going for another.
Today I decided to stay away from PTs so I drove out to Yass to see how many smilies I could add to my tally. I had a fabulous day with no DNFs though at times I came close to walking away from the more difficult finds.
Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches for us all to find. My name has been added to all the logs, though mostly as SG. TNLN. .

In Yass with SES for training and was happy to head out with a car full of cachers. Another quick find.
Down in Yass for the weekend with SES. We headed out after our days training to grab a few caches by night. With a handful of caching buddies we had a good night traversing the area.
I wasnt out of the car before the others had this one.
Thanks

Cache 2671 on 29/7/17
Headed out with DarksideDan for a few caches in Yass on a frosty Saturday morning. 6 hours later we had gorgeous warm weather, 40 caches under our belts and a fabulous lunch at the cafe in town. A great morning out getting some numbers with lots of laughs and a few interesting bird sightings on the way. Unless otherwise stated, caches found quickly and in good order.
Funnily enough - DSD thought he had been along this road before
Thanks team.wallace for the cache!

Can you say road trip. Today I headed out with AG27 to go on a caching road trip to Yass. Together we collected 40 caches. I took some excellent photos and had a stunning lunch. Thanks heaps for the cache.
On the way to 8000 finds... only about 300 to go!
I went on a recreational caving weekend in Wee Jasper with my bushwalking club this weekend. Only I didn't arrive at the campground untill 11 at night! A very cold weekend, survived mainly by my nice and warm -12 degree sleeping bag, and spending most of the time underground. We didn't exit the last cave exploration until 2pm Sunday, so after we showered and packed up camp I didn't get around go caching until 3pm!
But there have been quite a few new caches published around Yass since I was there last, and a couple of older ones that I DNFed previously, I had a lot to look for before it got too dark and the rain started to fall down.
In the end I managed to find 25 today and reach a total of 7707 finds.
Thanks for all the caches!

*Our last day in Yass, in the good company of Suscoe, we concentrated on finding caches within a 5 km radius of the town. That still set us quite a high target for the day. Just as the rain started, we signed our final log - 44/44 smiley tokens!!*
We really enjoyed the views from GZ.
Thanks team.wallace for placing caches, for everyone's enjoyment.

Suscoe and Phetlern were out and about for our last day of caching in the Yass area.
The day started cool and a little cloudy, but it was fine until the last cache was found and then a thunder storm rolled across from the western hills. Great timing we reckoned.
A really pleasant day of town and nearby caching with a good mixture of hides and fun on the way around the roads.
Thanks to team.wallace, we were certain we hadn't been here before, but can we be certain???????????

A day of caching with dty73 had us heading to Yass today. Despite a cold and very foggy morning start to the day, it turned out to be a beautiful sunny and even warm day with all caches found. A variety of very different caches awaited us, some a little more challenging than others, and a few quite spectacular locations as well.
Running out of time in the day now so a quick find to finish this area was welcomed, thanks for the cache team.wallace!

So much about this cache is - dejavu like! Glad that this was a quicky as we were running out of time for our caching day. Nice views over the valley from here. TFTC team.wallace!!!

Quite a breezy spring day. Not unpleasant, but it blew my hat off occasionally. Today I returned to Yass for unfinished business. I am always surprised by the interesting places Yass has to offer. I found some very cool spots today: Hatton's corner was certainly a highlight with sone monumental geology to see there. Yass's railway history was also a focus today.

It has been a while since Jac and I were out caching this way so when we were at a loose end today, we decided to head out here to grab some caches.
We have found many a cache like this before, so today it was just like searching for it all over again.
A fairly quick find here today when you can guess what you are searching for.
Thanks for the cache team wallace.

I don't think I have found this cache before or ever even been down this road in Yass but I do feel a little bit of dejavu maybe?
Nice easy park and grab anyway Thanks for another cache somewhere I haven't been before!

The views are getting better and the sun is almost breaking through and we are still enjoying our Yass excursion thanks to those who have placed caches.
After arriving at our overnight camp this morning we headed out to find the caches in the area.
Following the caching trail it was like doing a tiki tour of your area. It certainly a good way to see the countryside.

Had a great day caching around Yass with fitzy1965 and mtrax. Managed to triple my previous best for most caches found in a day and passed the 600 finds mark. Most caches were found easily with only one DNF for the whole day.
Another nice hiding spot, cache was a little wet. Thanks team.wallace

#3899 - 13:55; A plan was hatched with Sol de lune and albida33 to do a caching run to Yass over Christmas/New Year break. Various commitments meant it didn't come to pass until today. We headed off at a quite civilised hour and collected a couple of caches near Murrumbateman on the way through. Having driven past this cache on the way out, the others kindly stopped to let me grab this one, as they had found it on a previous expedition. The spiders have been pretty busy here given the amount of webs in the hiding spot and only a week since the last find! TFTC team.wallace
Continuing on our hunt for more caches Joelisa and I travelled into Yass to try to clean up that town for the rest of the day. TFTC
Drove up early from Canberra and spent 8 hours around Yass seeking out caches. A great day found 44 caches, 2 trackables, $2.00 and a mobile phone. Walked around and into some magnificent historic buildings, visited some nice parts of the Yass River that I never new existed and had some great views. TFTC.
Stopped to admire the views - what a place to build a house! Thanks for showing us a place we would never have seen if it were not for the cache.
What stunning scenery- absolutely breathtaking. Thanks for placing a cache here so we could visit.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

No cache in the obvious spot? Nowhere else I could search, have my fears for this one.

A bit of a mission to Yass today to fill a gap in our geo-calendar. This was our 14th of 33 finds for the day. TNLNSL TFTC
Found with Snickersallan, fantastic views. Still have enough fuel in the tank before we head home after completing ES Series today.
Last day of our Christmas caching blitz of Wagga and Yass. Good to be able to grab a few more and check out the back locks of Yass. Tftc
Took my middle daughter, Chocolistick03 (GC name created after we returned), out caching today. We hit Gunning and Yass (and in between). A quick find, thanks team.wallace
A dramatic view today of the storm clouds from here. A favourite for this cache and all the other caches you maintain about Yass. TFTC team.wallace.
