Too many spiders!

A nice warm night so off I went for a scooter ride and some caching. Really enjoyed the area.

Searched all over but some rubbish about and long grass got the better of me.

Thanks to baluke for the placement and fun.

29-Dec-21
We found this cache today on our Diamond Creek Walk n Drive Tour. We accessed this from the parking area across the road. It is very cool under the shade here. Thanks from D & H B-A

Not found at 1:27 pm
With one of my geokids finding out how fun it was caching on the scooter, one of the other geokids wanted to come along as well. So off we went with 2 scooters and a bike in an area I hadn't explored before. Plenty of muggles around but we skipped past caches that were near muggles and got them on the way back along the trail.
We had parked right near here and I took a look for a few minutes but the kids were getting hungry so I gave up.
Thanks baluke for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

12-Sep-21
Unable to find the cache but we did find a scorpion.

09-Sep-21
Woohoo Found . 2nd try lucky, thanks go to OzHockeyChick for the hint re the appearance. All in good condition. We did move it back closer to the clump of "trees" to fit the hint better. We've left Base Camp and have made a few steps towards the Summit.

21-Aug-21
Looked everywhere but no luck like others recently

11-Aug-21
Too hard for us. We will seek a further hint and return soon.

27-Jul-21
We looked and looked in bushes and leftover gate debris and we unfortunately could not find the cache, must be too overgrown !

28-Dec-20
Could not see a log for the life of us. Overgrowth may be a bit much.

23-Oct-20
We looked and looked and looked and looked, well, you get the picture. We resorted to the hint. Still nothing. We sort of decided that this might be a dnf so all put in one more concerted effort to check everything. Bingo, RH came up with the goods. Thanks for the cache.

23-Oct-20
This took way too long to locate and we might not have had it not been for RH checking everything before we were going to give up and leave. Thanks for the cache.

23-Oct-20
Out to enjoy thank you day before the rain sets in for the weekend. Up early to make the most of the day and get the steps up.

This one took some time. Searching through the dense overgrowth. After a while searching I spotted something... bingo!

Thanks baluke for placing the hide!

Thanks to an impending football match somewhere, we have a day off today. Now that recreational activities that dont require shared facilities are allowed, we decided to explore to the north-west within the bounds of our 25km radius.
This one took us ages. Misinterpreting the hint, we searched in all the wrong places. After battling various spideywebs, RH eventually spotted the sneaky hide. YAY!
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, baluke

We actually found this cache a few days ago, during an afternoon out walking the geodog on the Diamond Creek Trail, but were unable to log it at the time because there was no log roll in the cache container.

We had some time this morning, so we we took the opportunity to stop by again and put in a fresh micro roll.

A very clever hide and extremely sneaky camouflage! After scrabbling around and getting my hair full of foliage, the hint steered me in the right direction. TFTC

29-Jan-20
Found a few days ago, but without a log roll. Came again today, so my caching partner could put in a new one and we could get our logs done. Difficult hide, TFTC

13-Oct-19
Nicely camoed, and as mentioned needs a new log, a tiny one will suit.

31-May-19
Good little Geocache. Nicely camouflaged

31-May-19
Very tricky

26-May-19
Found, but can’t sign the log because it’s waterlogged. Tftc. Pup enjoyed the cache too.

11-May-19
Found the cache after a bit of a search. The log for this was manky and damp but we were still able to sign it.

11-May-19
Would never have found without the hint! TFTC

06-May-19
Very wet log needs replacing

14-Dec-18
Walking in the rain while waiting for my ride I finally got to knock off finding the last three caches in the mangarook series.
Found this one quickly. Nice little hide first one of these types of caches that I have found. Unfortunately the log is full and wet.I didn't have a replacement with me sorry.
Thanks for the ingenious hide Baluke.

06-Nov-18
Out for a walk between todays showers, or that's what I thought until it started to pour on us as we searched for the hide. Sad Oh well, we would have been wet without the search anyway so we kept at it and came up with the goods! Smile

Cheers BaLuke, thanks for the fun.

04-Nov-18
A very well hidden cache.
Unfortunately the log was wet and almost falling to pieces.
And I signed the last vacant spot on the log.
(I didn't have a suitable replacement with me.)

23-Sep-18
Spent ages couldn't find real shame

29-Jul-18
And done. Would NOT have found this one without the hint and previous logs. But we did so go us and thank you Baluke

07-Apr-18
Out for the usual day, early start, late finish, memorable adventures with SimsFamily and Neville Devil.
This was where we realised "winter is coming" not the warm starts we've become accustom to.
After a bit of scratching around the cache was spotted.
Log signed and replaced as found

Thanks for the Cache

With a mega early start to the day leaving home before the sun was up. The days plans were to get Ausfox;'s 4000th find. He had picked Gollum's Cave for the milestone cache but needed to find 9 more before that. So with a slight detour he saw this nice cluster of 7 easily reachable caches to get that little bit closer to the his goal.
As we got out to cross the road to GZ the cold hit us full force. It was bitterly cold with some frost on the grass and all. At GZ Neville_devil made the find quickly making it find 1 for the morning.

Thank you Baluke for the hide

07-Apr-18
Nice find

29-Mar-18
Unfortunately, there is nothing remarkable about this location, proximity to the road, no particular stand out features. Yes, I also couldn't find it.

25-Feb-18
Accurate clues. Think tiny.

11-Feb-18
I wasn't sure how I'd go with this one, sounds tricky. There were muggles nearby but they were too busy comparing running statistics on their phones, so I strolled into the bushes. After a bit of a search I was about to give up when I spotted something that matched the hint - yep that's it. Nice camo, thanks!

23-Jan-18
Not great fun searching amongst the brambles. Needs another visit

21-Jan-18
A nice quick find in a nice hide,
However, the base of the camo is quite damp and the log is damp.
Still Ok to write on and is still legible.

31-Dec-17
Tricky cache, one of the hardest caches I've found!

31-Dec-17
I knew what I was looking for once at GZ. Lovely to meet up with the other group of cachers again here and to return the favour with finding the cache!

05-Nov-17
Came by this way one wet day earlier and had a quick look from the outside, but wasn't in the mood to get wet from the foliage. This time around it was a beautiful day and quick find. TFTC

01-Oct-17
Tftc - friend got this one. damn I hate those tubes!

01-Oct-17
Definately still there. Very small though

21-Aug-17
After attending some friends mother's funeral in the old home town I ventured out to find my first caches for Diamond Creek. I remember this spot well. The house that used to be on the adjacent corner and flooded whenever the creek rose after heavy rain. I think a school mates family lived in a house just next to where I found the cache. It took me a while to find it, but the hint and a previous log finally led me to the cache nowhere near anything prickly. Thanks for the memories.

14-Aug-17
2nd time trying but still can't find it Sad

14-Aug-17
Second time trying to find. No luck again. Has it be tampered with?

30-Jul-17

Beautiful sunny day. Completed a bikeride to St. Andrews via the backroads, then stopped here on the way home. Must admit some blackberries got me before I found it! Nice piece of work. 2nd on the new log - a bit fiddly to extract & replace, but all replaced securely. Thanks for the adventure.

We thought that we would take the geo-dog for a walk along the Diamond Creek Trail. Along the way this popped up on the radar so I quickly grabbed it. A quick find. TFTC.

14-Feb-16
I was in Diamond Creek for a wedding and having found a few earlier in the day I slipped out from the reception to check out another couple on the west of the creek. A little trickier in the dark and I couldn't make the find at this one. Thanks anyway.

Nice easy find, spotted something out of place quite quickly

30-Sep-15
Nice easy find with CJWJBroad. Watch out for the nasty nest of bull ants nearby. Geokids hysterical when bitten :/

30-Sep-15
First find ever!!! Yay!! Out with Missmellie78 and our geokids!! Great fun until the bull ants attacked and sent us running away!!

29-Sep-15
Nice walk along the path to get here, then ducked over the road to make the find at 11:30am.

28-Sep-15
Little brothers first find! Did really well, I walked straight past it Smile

18-Sep-15
Suscoe's 5th find of today.
We had an early start and ended with a total of 31 finds in all.
A pleasant day, a touch of warmth, so wind and a little bit of sun peeking through the clouds.
Nice to see this hide quickly.
Thanks to baluke for placing this cache here.

31-Aug-15
Found it tftc

31-Aug-15
Brilliantly hidden but I think I'm developing an eye for unnatural log placements. Popped the ball at the bottom of the container (after fighting with it to get it out) tftc

28-Aug-15
Arrived on site early for an afternoon orienteering event. Having checked out the caches in the area I saw no reason to waste a two hour driveon a single event. A cool afternoon with quite a few people out and about but the coords were good and the cache sufficiently out of site not to be worried. Liked the hide, as I came upon it the lid was open which was a bit of assist to me. I ummed and aaaed about the ball for a short time and then remember my younger days of tubed lollies. TFTC BaLuke.

Dropped the geokid off at sports and grabbed 2 nearby caches tonight as well as the clues for Marngrook Challenge.
Coming straight from the office, in the dark, with no torch, was a bit ambitious but I managed to make the find easily enough. Camoed the cache as well as I could after signing the log. The rubber ball made it a bit tricky to extract the log but job done!

25-Jul-15
Easy find needs better camo.
