This was difficult. After trying a few different tools to retrieve the nano, we found a two tool combo that ended up working with a lot of persistence and luck. At one point it popped out suddenly, flipped around and md fell back down its hole upside down. After dying a little inside, I was able get it out for real. A very satisfying post-archive FTF. ??
Normally, I would log this as unfound or just post a note. But it seems a few people have logged it without being able to retrieve it. So join them I say.
So, after hunting high and low, I found it and went to grab it..... Hmm.....ok.....not that simple!
I scrabbled around for twigs and such when I saw a big lizard giving me the eye.
Ok, moving on...
A hair grip was discovered and I fashioned a hook using nothing but cunning and stone tools.
Alas my dreams were bigger than reality as this failed me dismally.
Half an hour passed. Half an hour of glorious, beach soaking sun time. And me, a pastie brit!!!
Well, that would simply not do.
I abandoned all hope and decided to enjoy the rest of my afternoon.
All I have to say is "tweezers"! A simple set hanging nearby would suffice.
Thank you for the entertainment.

Did find it, but couldn’t get it out as we did not have a magnet/tweezers at the time.
Found but unable to retrieve/ write in the log. Have photo evidence to prove. Maintenance required as magnet gone. Tftc
Got it but think the magnet has fell off ended up using two hair clips to get it then figured out I forgot my pen have photo evidence if required.
Found it easily, extracting it was the challenge. Got it with some bits of wire and then spotted something on the ground that may make subsequent retrieval a little easier. TFTC gtxb.
A quick find here. But took a lot longer to get out Had the suggested tool to remove it. this did not work.
The required element is not there to retrieve the cache Luckily I had a tool to solve the dilemma and able to sign the log TFTC gtxb This cache needs maintenance for the hint to be usable.

Maintenance is required on this cache. A part is missing that is required to retrieve it as stated in the hint
Found the nano in the hiding hole. Could not sign it as it looks like the last person to get it out has put it back the wrong way up (magnet is at the bottom), unfortunately tried to get it out with tweezers and a thin piece of metal but is wedged in tight. Might be time for someone to visit after dark when not busy and obvious to get it out and placed correctly. Have taken photo of hiding spot to verify it was found. TFTC
Thank heavens for the trusty paper clip lol. The trick is getting the log back inside the nano!
Managed to extract the cache with tweezers. Found something on the ground to sit below the nano to make it easier for the next finder.
Cravo10 joined me today for our first really HUGE caching day for 2017, targeting a bunch of caches North of the River between Burns Beach and Woodlands, where we would be attending the Megawat60 "plus 5" event at jackadder lake to help Richard celebrate a special milestone.
We met up at our standard jaunt Cockburn Gateways car park for a 6am start to beat the heat, traffic and the weather! We drove all the way to the end of the freeway to complete yhe Neerabup Nature Trail caches, the find 30 trail caches and the ever elusive "60 attribute challenge" which has been on my geocaching radar since about forever! All caches were found in good condition in the series and we had no problems locating the final cache of the series.
We continued on a downward run picking up park and grab cache after park and grab cache after park and grab cache to try and cleanup some of the map up this way as we don't often travel this far north so we really needed to make the most of it.
We had got to around 1130 and had nearly 40 caches to our name and decided to pull into the shops to get some supplies and then head to the event, it was great to finally put some faces to some names I've seen amongst the logs over the last few months and years.
The highlight of the day would have to be the cake. THAT cake. OMG. Coolest cake I've seen in a very long time. Check the event images to see more.
We finished up the day after bidding our farewells to the crowds at the lake and tackling some caches in Stirling before heading to grab the nearby LBH cache and then called it quits some 7.5hrs of caching later.
We found a great variety of caches, some camo, some bush, some urban, and some big standard. Variety was the order of the day today as we managed to pickup a couple of mystery caches, a heap of traditionals, a multi, a letterbox hybrid and finally an event cache.
Thanks for a huge day out local COs we can't wait to come back soon.

TFTH Barnzy12 and I joined forces again today for our first really HUGE caching day for 2017, targeting a bunch of caches North of the River between Burns Beach and Woodlands, where we would be attending the Megawat60 "plus 5" event at jackadder lake to help Richard celebrate a special milestone.

Great location took us a bit to find it because we thought it was magnetic. Found it hard to get out but had fun trying.
NZJiv:xx. Very hard to retrieve, came back last week with bruceisgone. Used 3 small screw drivers but an o-ring pick or two would work... TNSL

Had to come back with a few tools for this one.
Cache was placed with magnet facing down but we got it in the end. TFTC

Thank you! I needed both a jog and a find today, so I thought I'd start both here. I'd spotted this one a few weeks earlier, and so I made sure I brought a retrieval tool with me this time. Quickly signed, then off for the jog.
Our last find before lunch! Finding the little sucker was easy, retrieving it was another story! I definitely recommend bringing a good set of tweezers to get this one from its hiding spot! A satisfying find with Minergal TFTC!!!!
tftc lucky I had my long tweezers. was able to retrieve it. was in deeper than the description. have made it so it does not go in so deep but still inconspicuous.
Nice fit! I had all the appropriate tools after reading the description, so retrieval was straight forward. What was a bit harder was finding a break between walkers and cyclists on a nice Sunday afternoon. Thank you for the cache gtxb.
Friday is cache day!
Great morning to be out finding some caches in the area. Ended up with 11 finds and 4 DNF's, so not a bad mornings work.
Parked nearby and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC.

Have now fixed this one and moved to what I hope will be a spot where it is less muggled.
See updated description and hint.

This one has been muggled again. So I am disabling it for a little while so I can create something less likely to be muggled.
Staight forward

This cache took us a while but while looking at the clue found the tiny thing.

Yeah, go away muggles, spent way to long at GZ, loitering is the proper word. But in saying that, I'm glad I took the opportunity when I did as there was an influx of muggles as I left. Phew! TFTC
Love the hiding spot. I do think you should have let people know you need to be tall otherwise great cache
Replaced this one today. Suggest a Log Removal tool, as the log strip is a snug fit on this new one.
Checked on this one tonight and it has been muggled!! Have ordered a replacement Nano and will enable it once the new cache arrives.
There was a tell tale fixing where I thought the cache would be, so not sure if the cache has gone missing or if I was looking in the wrong spot!
I would say you were looking in the wrongs spot. This cache is a magnetic one, so there are no fixings to be seen. I will go down in the next day or two and check that it is still in place.
