Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Fryer's day the eighteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. A peaceful area here, made the walk in to this cool old tree, cache found and is all goodTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
A pleasant day for caching in the Bairnsdale area and a little bit further afield.Mostly cloudy, occasional sun with no breeze, but it was pretty good for a Winter's Day.We found a good range of caches, learned some interesting things along the way, visited some great locations and discovered some nicely hidden caches. Thanks to outnabout85 for this cache, no worries here today!!
Our final cache in the area. Most enjoyable. We hadn't been up Bairnsdale way for some time, and certainly not this year so we headed up to look for some newer caches we had not had the opportunity to search for and others we had missed previously. We enjoyed exploring and seeing the changes. Driving round Eagle Point and down to Paynesville is always a pleasure.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache outnabout86.**SKI Pair****

I have fears but this one didnt scare me. The log is almost full. Heard some birds but didnt see any wildlife here today.
We have now finished our Father's Day weekend away in Lakes Entrance and starting to head home. However can't drive without stopping to collect a few geocaches on the way, this being one of them.
This was one of my must do geocaches as I needed a 'Tree Climb' in this LGA. As such is was programmed in as our next stop on the way hone.
Son2 was disappointed as he didn't need to climb. It was an easy to reach for us all.
Thanks for the cache Out N About 86

In the area and needed to stretch the legs, what better than "where's the next cache". After having a bit of a stroll the cache was quickly located. Thanks for bringing us here with this cache.
After taking a bit of a look around, we remember we were here to find a cache. It was found with no problems and we were on our way. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
Beautiful spot, saw some kangaroos hopping around. Needs a new log book. Super full
An impressive spot for a geocache. Found by chance on our way to do the five in Wattle Point.
B & C’s excellent adventure! With just 2 of us left in Eagle Point, and a caravan to trek the 4.5 hour journey home we decided to break up the first half of the journey with a cache (or 7). Our original plans to go visit Billy Goats Gruff were scuppered when I realised that could be challenging (if not downright silly) with a SUV/Van combo so we picked a few caches off the highway and some virtuals to help build our numbers for those.
This was our first stop for the day, just another spot we would never have known about were it not for a cache placement. A nice convenient place to pull off the side of the road with the van and we were making the short trek to GZ. B made the find here thanks to a distinct height advantage.

A safer walk on an 18degree day and we found a path of sorts that led to GZ. No fear here and SL at 1.09pm Left : gold gumnut pathtag. #9521 TFTC
Well that was the adventure- pulled up on a 30+ degree day , only had on sandals to my horror there was no set track so gingerly made my way to GZ then the coords jumped so instead of trusting my geo senses I followed the phone which led me on a complete circle - back to GZ and found the cache, left a diamond and a feather I found on the adventure, a five min cache had turned into an hour long hunt lmao - dang those jumpy coords , put my hiking boots on as soon as I was back at the car - trust your gut with this one
Found and checked with GeoKid and GeoDog. Cache signed and checked. In good order and coordinates are still accurate. Lovely natural bee hive in old tree above parking area.
Tftc kimmatmoo. In the area from the Latrobe Valley for some local work. Finished the day with a bit of light left in the day and checked for any nearby caches. Drove the short distance from my work site, short walk and thankfully with some DEET lingering from an earlier application, was able to bat off the hordes and quickly retrieve the cache which is still in good nick.
Nice easy find nothing lurking here today fairly overgrown lots of butterflies TFTC
Nothing eating the mozzies today, but man were they into me. What a tree. I don't know how you found it but it's cool. TN but found a marble on the ground near the cache so I added it to the stash. TFTC

Spending some quality time on our special road trip, revisiting special places and exploring new ones. Thank you for your cache and adding to our road trip memories.
Quick find amongst the mozzies on our way to Bairnsdale. Thanks for the cache
Today we were in Bairnsdale and I saw that this cache was part of the mystery in the museum series so headed off to find it.
After a short walk we came to GZ and luckily there was no fear factor for reaching in to retrieve it.

This one was a good one to settle our mother daughter Easter geocaching competition. It was an easy find but once we saw it my daughter and I were both a bit worried to dig around but in the end I plucked up the courage to and I won. TFTC
We were on our way to Eagle Point to check out a 2018 Victorian Cache of the Year cache. This cache was just a short way off the road we were travelling along and didn’t seem to hard to get. We made the diversion. The Driver drove off to turn around to find a safe park and head us back towards the road we’d left. I walked towards GZ according to my finding device when I saw a magnificent old gum tree worth taking a photo of it. I was lead towards it but still had another 10m to go, but curiosity led me to check the tree out. Right at my nose, literally were a couple of pieces of natural debris. My curiosity forced me to turn the debris over and I had the cache in my hand. I was extremely surprised it was found so easily, and pleased. It was not the cache I was looking for. I suspect that in a previous incarnation, mentioned in several previous logs, it had a different composition. I would have liked seeing the previous format. It was very smoky , which may have contributed to the lack of accuracy of my finding device. I enjoyed visiting the location but it was crackly underfoot and not many birds around today. Thanks for bringing us to this interesting spot.
Good day for a quick walk in the bush amongst the bird calls. No problems finding the right spot either. Looks like something a bit scary has adhered the container to its camo! No creature in sight today though luckily!! TFTC, lovely spot.
Out for a quick cache today with my Muggle Dad. The weather is looking a bit dodgy so I think we might need to be fast. I don’t have this particular phobia, however now living in Queensland after growing up in the area, I think I’ve developed a different one, bufonophobia - I’ll let you look that one up. As I’m vertically challenged Dad retrieved this one, all is good at GZ, TFTC kimmatmoo

On our way home to visit grandma, Firstly we became fixated on a large wombat hole. Luckily we reconsidered before we actually found the cache.
Today my travels took me from Lakes Entrance to Sale via Paynesville. Nice quick find on my way back to the highway. My thanks to kimmatmoo for the cache.
Geo-cousin found this one. Quickly found but couldn’t hang around because we were smelt out by mozzies. TFTC
#31 find for our 2 Months to Alexandra Event Roadtrip! Found with KrysLazz.
We came on a surprisingly hot Spring day, and I found myself a little under protected shoe-wise for the environment. Not wanting to let the team down though, I thumped through the grass elaborately to GZ (thank goodness for no Muggles!).
Thanks for bringing us here, what a lovely location!

A nice walk to GZ late this afternoon with The Trirtonz. The cache was located quickly. Thanks kimmatmoo.
Heading back to our accommodation after an enjoyable meal with McLookers we decided to pick up just one more cache, and one more....
The well themed container was spotted by the McLookers with the aid of our torches.
Thanks kimmatmoo for the placement.

It was still a few hours before dinner, so frmen1 & I headed to Wattle Point. Stopped for this quick find on the way. TFTC
Dragged out by geosister. A quick find luckily followed by finding a pen to sign log.
Thanks kimmatmoo
Thanks kimmatmoo
I wonder what the term is for fear of having no pen to sign a log. Luckily a second search of the car was successful. Quickly find of cache (quicker than finding the pen)
Thanks kimmatmoo
Thanks kimmatmoo
Hmm. Wasn't sure what to expect here given the listing. But nothing the hole other than a lil iddy biddy cache. Thanks kimmatmoo.
Heading off on a weeks holiday in the High Country and an overnight stop in Bairnsdale planned. What better way to kill a few hours, than to grab some of the local caches.
A nice easy find here, so thanks for the placement.

After spending a delightful morning with our granddaughter, we had the opportunity to learn more about the history of Bairnsdale and of course collect a couple more smiley tokens before heading home. More worries for anyone suffering arachnaphobia here today, spiders everywhere, no sign of ascoliodentosaur of any type - real or imitation!
**Feedback To CO:** Cache size should probably be 'Micro' rather than 'Other'.
Apologies for the late logs, we are still catching up after an almost fatal computer meltdown.
Thanks kimmatmoo for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

The only fear I have is that of a DNF !! [:o]
And maybe a dose of anatidaephobia
Somehow, somewhere, there is always a duck watching you [:o]
That I suffer from 'scoliodentosaurophobia' is laughable
I've had a full grown perentie stand on me bare feet underneath a picinic table,
and just casually looked down at the offender and quietly said,
"Get lost will yer !!,
That ticlkles !!"
No ducks spied at GZ.
Though I'm sure they were watching me [:o]
Cache found,
I got out of there as fast as I could

Found it but took a few seconds to conquer the fear. Definitely bring mozzie spray. Tyftf
We read the description and were preparing ourselves for it to be just about anything, but after finding we were still none the wiser. After reading the logs we're thinking the cache must have originally been attached to something? A pretty reserve to wander through, another great area we never would have come to if not for geocaching! SL Thanks again kimmatmoo.
Combined Jasmines science project with locating this geocache. She needs to measure 100 red gums and this was the biggest!
