Found by accident while looking for somewhere to place a cache!! Signed log and returned
Saw this one was archived after I arrived home from the Wappa event. Hmm, looks like it may still be there.
Heading up to Nambour for the night and decided to detour to this one on the way through. Took a short time to locate, but eventually came up with the prize. Cache and log in good condition.
I thought a good hide, I've seen worse.

Found, while in the area, on another trip around Australia.
This was a nice quick, drive by cache.
Many thanks for placing this cache, dahumbug, for us and others to find.

No muggles about because of the rain. Nice easy find and still in dry condition. TFTC
#433 @ 10:22AM Out to kill some school holidays today. Love the big climbing tree on the other side of the creek and a little surprised that dahumbug placed this one at ground level. ~ TFTC dahumbug
Having dispatched Sweet of to Melbourne for a week to baby sit her grandkids, time for some Geocaching on the way home.
I remember this one, muggled out last time, almost muggled out again, Over the fence and detoured via the sports ground, muggles hidden by the trees, all OK, cache retrieved, log signed and all replaced, the near by muggles none the wiser.
All with the cache

A beautiful day, maybe a little hotter than we would have liked but caching we did regardless of the temperature. In the company of Lazzal we were able to find this nicely hidden cache. Thanks to dahumbug.
Had a few hours to spare so went out to find a few caches with Liz & Bruce. Glad it is not as hot as yesterday. Nice find and a very good hide, found after a long search then read the hint, doh. Tftc
While driving past this one, I realised there was no smiley face on the map even though I have been here before. All good now. I spent a lot of time in the nearby Scout Den as a Leader for 5 years. Thanks for the cache dahumbug.
#264~ Parked within a couple of metres of this one after first overshooting the area and illegally turning around. Quite an accidental find, just happened to look there as we were walking past. TFTC dahumbug
We parked not far from GZ but had to wait while a muggle and his dog finished their walk and got back in their car before we could take a look. We found it quite quickly, which is just as well as another muggle with dogs, toddler and his golf clubs turned up soon after. TNLNSL TFTC
Thought it was time to find one of geohusbands caches. Smart phone is not entirely accurate, but with the advantage of knowing how is mind works I soon had cache in hand. Log signed and returned. TFTC babe
Part of the MEG#10 mob. Made it thru the day with no leaches, ticks, scratches and best of all no DNF’s. Once again thanks to Bulldozer72 for chauffeuring all day.
Lucky enough to be a part of this great game and for P’ to include us all in one of his Missions for 2013.

Find #174
Mobbed by MEG 10. What is MEG? Amongst a few 2013 GEOGoals I've set myself, one I have dubbed Mission Empty Glass (MEG for short). This involves tackling all caches I've not already found in an area I've defined loosely as 'The Glasshouse Mountains'. Every multi, every micro, every mystery, every mountain and everything in between. This is the tenth such group trip, and we aren't quite done yet.
As the day carried on the rain eased a small amount and we started to thread our way around the outskirts of Nambour. A quick find in the second place we looked.
Thanks for placing this cache, dahumbug. Mobbed in good condition.

Cache was a quick find, then I asked how the flood guage worked, and got lots of "helpful" answers!
Fun one, thanks dahumbug!
Fun one, thanks dahumbug!
I was part of Pprime's MEG#10 today, and although it rained pretty much most of the day, I had a grand time. I was able to tag along in ruzzelz's car along with Hiltonclan.
Another quick find in the rain with a bunch of crazies. The flood gauge became an interesting talking point TFTC, dahumbug.

Found as part of the MEG 10 group out and about in the area grabbing some caches. Missed the correct turn to this one and arrived just in time to ensure the log was marked before being returned to its hiding spot. TFTC
We joined some crazy cachers for MEG #10 - Cleaning up the dregs, led as always by Mr pPrime for a day of fun and caches.
There was much joking and frivolity it at this cache, I think we might all have been water logged by this time, the joking was around the flood gauge/marker and how it worked. The decision was made that if you could see half of the pole it was quite wet and if you could see hardly any of the pole that you should head to higher ground and if you could not see any of the pole, to call Noah or build an Ark.

Thanks dahumbug for all the history you have been providing as we've done a number of your caches today as part of the MEG #10 group. It's been appreciated. We love history. This cache was a nice quick find and therefore one we've appreciated in the rain we've had today. [^]
With the MEG#10 group. Before I knew the relationship to horses and that there's a restaurant with the name, thanks for the extra details. TFTC!
A quick find with the MEG 10 group today, as we spent quite a while discussing the flood gauge and how to determine the height of any flood that might come along. TFTC, dahumbug. =^.^=
MEG#10
I hope I don't get disqualified for writing this but I actually don't remember which one this one was but I can assure you I was present with the MEG10 group. Thought I would be honest rather than trying to recall events which didn't happen and throwing future caters off! LOL Sorry there were just so many today!!!
I do remember a sea monkey falling from the sky and picking some nearby flowers from a rainbow? (Perhaps this is why I was so distracted!)
(I promise to edit this silly comment later.. I am trying to log the ones from today so that I can say I had 100 finds!)

Found on an epic caching trip with the MEG#10 group, conveniently organised during my visit [^] Excellent combination of various caches, some for the body and some for the mind, all contributing to a great day. Thanks to all CO's for placing the caches, great company of cachers, and to P' for organising at such a convenient time - even arranged for suitable weather to make me feel home!
I was attending Pprime's MEG10 group raid on caches in the area. In my car we had La Kedi, Agap2, Pprime, and myself.
We pulled up for this one next - we took a back route to get to it. Despite the jeers from others, we all seemed to turn up around the same time It's been many years since I've been to this park.. I think it was for a concert called the "Woombye Bop" in the mid 90s
The cache was found after a small hunt and in good condition. TFTC dahumbug

Aussie Liahona and I had joined Pprime (P') with a group of other cachers on his Final (#10) Mission Empty Glass attack on caches in the area. There we up to 20 of us at times. And we had a great time despite the rain.
By the time we all arrived the road near the cache looked like the parking lot for a PINK concert. We headed off the road and there were only so many places that a cache like this could be located and that made it a lot easier to find. Not sure how the flood gauge works though..

Being by dahumbug I was expecting to have to climb something but no! Easiest one by dahumbug that I've found so far. Thanks for the history on the area. Tftc.
This was not here last time I looked. Picked up on a cruise past after work. Not off to Parklands before it gets too dark
Day out with Papa Smurf 12 & Kiki97 , after a history lesson which was very informative , the cache was soon in hand. TFTC SL
A nice quick find on this one. But best of all I got a bit of a history lesson with this cache. And funny enough I have never been into Woombye before until now.

Out and about with Lady membsec, Angela minus Dave and Mini Munchkin. We parked Spangle nice and close so the sleeping beauty, MM, could keep snoozing. We wondered around the lovely shady area looking in all the likely nooks and crannies. It wasn't long until I had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache and little bit of history dahumbug

Out and about with the lovely Nyssaflutterby, Angela and Dave (minus Dave), and mini munchin in the flying spangle. Nice and hot today but at least we were able to park close by and search in the shade while mini munchin slept. I was a bit slow on this one, I didn't quite go far enough but was glad to hear Nyssaflutterby call out that she had found it.
Thanks for the cache and the history lesson.

Found the cache at 0918 with Marg. Took another short search but it was found after a few minutes. managed to lose my short pen while here though. TFTC.
Out and about this afternoon with The.3.bears. One of the bears wanted to see if we could find this seeing as they had a DNF here recently. Pulled up and I had it in hand within a minute. Seems it wasn't there when they were here last [?] All good now though
Thanks dahumbug
Thanks dahumbug
Slight change in position certainly helped, found it in less than 5 min. Fairly certain it wasn't in that particular spot two weeks ago. Glad I can cross this one off now.
Found myself close to this one again in between work appointments so thought I'd have another go - in daylight this time. Looked in one of the same places I had checked (obviously not very well) about 5 times last week and there it was - so frustrating! I must have just reached a bit further at a different angle. Found before the GPS even found a satellite this time! #364 @ 0935hrs tftc dahumbug

I parked about 6m from GZ. I hopped out of the geovan and made my way towards GZ. But along the way I spotted a likely hide so a quick check and bingo, I had the cache in hand. I didn't have to go as far as Mr Garmin was saying.[^]
I signed the log and replaced the cache as I found it already for the next lucky punter. A nice quick find.

Got rather excited to find another cache so close to home. Thought a person was sneaking up on me but turned out to be a random dog, he gave me a lick and continued on his way, saw no one else with him luckily
On my way to Nambour I made a quick stop at this spot. There was a muggle walking a dog so I sat in the geomobile until she left.
Once at GZ it was a short search and a quick find at 1035hrs.

Had a look for this one after dropping the girls to their dance lesson at Palmwoods around 1830hrs. Searched around every metal object in the vicinity with the GPS jumping all over the place. Could see no sign of an eclipse. Must be quite tricky camo. Will have to return in daylight and hopefully gain more clues.

This was my first find, I have been a member for a while however with work and uni I haven't had the chance to get out and hunt down some caches.
I saw the notification come up whilst i was at work, so I decided that i would have a crack at it on my way home. Unfortunately i didnt have a torch on me, and as there were plenty of muggles at soccer training after a good look i decided to dnf it and go home, and have a better look during the daylight. A few hours later i looked to see if someone had found it and saw that a find was yet to still be logged, so i decided to take dad for a drive and have a better look. As we did a drive by, we saw that someone was parked in the GZ having a good look at which point we figured we wouldn't get an FTF. After chucking a u-turn and coming back the car was gone, and the search was on. After 5-10mins of searching with the gps in all of the obvious spots i had no luck, so dad decided to take the torch and have a good look for himself and sure enough he found it in the sneakiest spot.
Awesome hide.
