360. What a cutie cache! Love this, and indeed in plain sight. I added a tiny goodie, thanks!
Have been house sitting in Mapleton, today we leave, but not until we attend an event in Yandina. On our way, we stopped for this cache in Nambour. That was an easy find. Thanks dahumbug
Something different is always fun!!! Beautiful little spot. Love the bridge.
TFTC & a fav from us!

It's Holly's birthday today, so we're up in Nambour at the The TreeTop Challenge, well those of us who aren't bothered by heights. I heroically volunteered to look after the car, picnic and birthday cake whilst the family clambered up trees, walked across moving and swaying platforms and generally did things I don't like.
I soon got bored, so headed out on a bit of a loop to pick up some caches. This was the first on the list and as I walked to GZ, I guessed where the container was. A nice little park.
Thanks!!

Found what we were sure was the cache, but couldn't get it open. Fortunately we always carry tools, just in case. Mr STW left the top opening more easily with some lubrication.
Nice cache, thank you.

Stopped in here on my way home from an event in Cooroy. Saw this had a few FPs so I thought I better go pay it a visit.
Nice IPS hide.
Had a bit of trouble assessing the log which I’ve messaged the CO about.

Took a little longer than it should have but was a great find! Geodog loved the area!!!
I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, given the wording..
But i shouldn't have worried as i actually spied it upon approach and the park was quiet, so i tried my hunch and it proved correct.
Log was dry and full of space..
Not too tight either, which made extraction definitely easier than i see has thwarted many a cacher in the past.
I actually came back here again later, but that's a story for another cache.
Thanks dahumbug for one of your easier finds at ground level and not deep in the scrub.

Found it! Nice and dry! However accidentally rolled up the log to tightly and it went to the bottom of the container. I tried to get it out. Lost my ring down there, then got my ring out but still couldn’t get the log! Will replace in the next few days so it’s not to hard for others. It may not be obvious enough.. if you open it now, the log is right down the bottom.
We arrived just before lunch and I’m sure the heat was turning the lid into an impenetrable barrier. No amount of twisting or arm juice was going to get it loose. If this happens with a jar of pickles I turn the jar upside down and give it a few taps on the bum. I couldn’t do this with the cache so will have to come back one day after I have spent a few months at the gym. Thanks anyway
We had originally logged a DNF on this cache and have to thank the CO for magically adding our name to the log. At the time we were going to add a favourite point but I’m a lover and not a fighter, and lost the fight with this cache.
It was awesome to hear the hide had been restored to its natural beauty and we can now add the promised FP. In fact we didn’t take a photo on the flying-fox because I was too busy crying in my beer(s). Thanks bug for the kind assist. I’ve left the original DNF log below because someone stole the backspace key off my phone. tftc

We had a good day out.
Love the cache FP given .

Found it and was stunned at its size. Grabbed out the bag and the log was a mushed mess so I have replaced both the log and the bag for you. First of this kind I have come across, a fav point for your execution!
Found this nifty little cache pretty quickly thanks to the geodaughter. Cool hide. Tftc
This was a great little hide. Signed the log just put it back before a little family came along. Phew.
Probably came to this one a year or so back and could not open it. This time around it was an easy opening to get out the log. TFTC dahumbug.
Caching in and around Nambour and surrounds, we picked up a few caches with Whitewebbs and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

I have been working nearby so I decided to grab this cache prior to commencement of work.
Besides the log being slightly damp, everything is OK with this cache.

This was quite a quick find a few ants around the cache but no problem. Log is damp and needs to be handled gently. Liked this cache. TFTC
Goodies found it. I managed to get the lid of with the help from some big man tools. Oiled up the threads should be good for now. All these DNF can come back now. LOL.
Lid is on tight but gave it a spray with WD40 so next time it might come loose!
Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Jemillalucy, Lisylou and Bennyboppers). Found the cache but couldn’t get the lid off. Tried some tools from the car but still couldn’t.
Found it but couldn't open it. Either put on too tight or rusted on. We didn't have a wrench that size. And we couldnt budge it by hand. It will have to wait.
Easy find. The kids had fun in the park. Lot of space for the kids to run.Flying fox was well used by kidlets
Stortigirls and I made our way to this one. We quickly spotted the hide. Getting the logbook out was a different matter. I returned to the geomobile to fetch a piece of hardware that we had found on another caching adventure. Some gentle persuasion and the log was soon in hand. With our names added to the log, we returned everything to the way we found it and headed on our way. TFTC
The cache was located quickly, however opening it took a bit longer. Some gentle encouragement with some hardware from the back of the geomobile did the trick and our names were added to the log. Tftc dahumbug
Found the cache without any problem but couldn't get the darn thing open - had to go back to Mitsi for some gland pliers and then soon had the log in hand. Put the log into a new zip-lock bag before replacing it and making sure we didn't over tighten the top as requested. TFTC dahumbug
An early start this morning to try to pick up a few Nambour-Yandina caches before it got too hot. Spotted this clever cache straight away but not being of youthful years declined the chance to test out the flying fox. TFTC dahhumbug. Nice to find one of your caches that does not need climbing!!

A weekend engagement in Nambour now completed, and we have the afternoon free. Yea! Eleven caches visited this afternoon!
No one here on a pleasant Sunday afternoon? Good for us geocachers. Good coordinates led us straight to the good hide. No Flying Fox for us oldies today!
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 3.15pm on 28th August 2016. TFTC

Clever hide, had the coords not been so good I may have been searching all kinds if different spots, but they led me straight to the hide.
Lid was a little stiff to remove at first but loosened up nicely.

This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #2690. Thanks **dahumbug** for showing us this spot. Discover our code TGQNRV, and mention where you saw it.

Out and about this afternoon in old Nambytown. My mum had an appointment at the hospital after getting a full knee replacement. So I was acting as chauffeur for the day. After dropping her off and time to kill. I decided to finish what I had started and do the dinosaur trail. Car parked at the train station. I set off on foot and went off on a spree. After doing the dinosaur trail I saw this cache on the radar... 790+ meters away as the crow flies.... Ah what the hell... Let's make it 5 from 5... Bag is wrecked but all is dry. Cache was found and signed.. Thanks for the cache!
While camping at Yandina .. I just had to go out and find a few caches ..
All Good .. TFTC ..

Was really hard to get the log out. I had to work for 10 mins to get it out but finally success. Signed the log and returned the log to the container. TFTC
Genyo and I parked and made our way to GZ. Genyo spotted what we were after quickly enough and had the lid off however it took quite a bit of time and effort to extract the log. Creative hide tftc.
It has taken me a while to get to this cache since moving into the area but finially can sign off my list
Nice quick find. Have been wanting to get this one for a while. Thanks for replacing it humbug.
Out for the morning with the family before watching QCW wrestling at Nambour.
upon arriving at GZ I noticed immediately something slightly out of place. and with that I soon had a log in hand.
Oh BTW I tightened it up really tight lol (just kidding)
TFTC and awesome container!

Next stop on our adventure today cruising around town. This one was a last minute detour as it haf slip my radar earlier. K 8 grab a park within 10 meters of the hide then we headed for GZ. I think K 8 has an eye for home made hides as he spotted it in 5 seconds flat. Not a single soul around today so it was an easy sign and replace.
Thanx again humbug, ya gotta the in plan sight ones.

On the way up to Nambour from the northern 'burbs for the day, I talked the wife into making a quick detour to pick up this hide. While she was screeching from having found two cane toads in an enclosure very nearby, I was making the find. Nice hide dahumbug.
Ahhh attempted this cache the other day and after ten minutes of trying to get the lid off we have up. May need some TLC.
Sneaky lil gromit!!!! Log book is very wet haven't tried to write in it. ... and the flying fox is broken..... DEVO
Very clever. First dismissed the possibility because my phone wasn't saying it was the spot. Lucky I started thinking like a geocacher! Awesome hide!
Another great park I didn't know about! Troobloo and I visited together and found the log book was a bit damp but still managed to log our names. TFTC it was very clever!
Needed to grab a cache on Xmas Day and this one was targeted.
As a visitor to Nambour this was in a spot I never knew about.
Found the well constructed cache and signed the log although
the log book was damp still managed to sign the log.
Thanks for you efforts dahumbug

Very clever! Found it when I came to check out a house my friend is buying overlooking this great park. Hopefully one day we'll see some fellow geocachers hunting while we have a BBQ in his back yard
Also hope council fix the flying fox soon

Oh wow, heatwave in Nambour! We parked nearby and the phone was jumping around between 19m and 34m but once we go out of the car it settled down and we quickly arrived at GZ. At first I thought it was going to be a certain hide but when we got there we soon discovered that it was something else. Thanks for the cache dahumbug.
Found 7.52am
Well didn't I feel like a fool all covered in prickles for no reason.. Haha great hiding spot dahumbug you had me stumped for quite a while..
I was really incredibly disappointed that I couldn't have a go on the flying fox but there's always next time!!

#588 ~ Unfortunately, or fortunately, depends how you look at it, I am having lone squirrel day today and did not have a go on the flying fox. Sorry Dahumbug. But I did find the cache super quick. Cheers dahumbug
Headed out early this morning up the range, to checkout a road bike a bloke was advertising on gumtree. After getting a great deal on a near new bike, Dad and I decided to chase down some caches on the way home. After grabbing some caches on the way back down the range, we decided to seek out this cache. It was one of the last ones i needed to get within in the nambour area, well at one of the last ones at this present point in time. After arriving at the park, it was a short wander to find the GZ. This park is pretty big, unfortunately the flying fox is undergoing maintenance and so it wasn't up and running. However, we had a cache to seek out. On my way to the GZ mr Garmin indicated i was about 5m out, however using my geosenses i spotted a likely hide and headed to it. However before reaching the spot i originally thought it may have been at, i noticed something and the log was quickly found and signed. TFTC Dahumbug. all is well with the cache.
There is just something so satisfying about finding a geocache that has been somewhat forgotten and I think this may have been one of them.
I can also say that I have actually found this cache back in July but was unable to retrieve the log. After a quick message to the CO I was informed that I had in fact found the cache but something was a miss and the cache was marked as out of order. So some loving maintenance was performed by the CO and then the cache was freed to be discovered again.
Some 6mths later the cache had a visitor to retrieve its log and that visitor was me!
Thanks for another cache ‘dahumbug’. This is one smooth opening cache now!

Last attempt by cacher to retrieve logbook was unsuccessful. Will disable until I fix it.
Teamed up with Bushbashr @ 5am! Damn it's raining, that changes the plan of mountain hiking! Quick change of plans and here we come Nambour to Maleny to Palmwoods! Out early for a good days adventure! Knowing that its owner is Dahumbug, gee this looks a bit strange? I wonder, Thanks Dahumbug! Sneaky, but not too hard
Sorry Dahumbug it was the first place I looked. Love the park, I must bring the geokids back for a play. A well thought out park. A bit of everything. TFTC
A beautiful day, maybe a little hotter than we would have liked but caching we did regardless of the temperature. In the company of Lazzal we were able to find this nicely hidden cache. Thanks to dahumbug.
Out today trying out my new Oregon 650 gps, learning how to use it by trial and error, error, error etc. This one was a good find and a very clever hide. Tftc
What a brilliant cache! Thanks for taking the time to make something so creative. Brilliant, favourite point for you!
